Honest and knowledgable folks! I came for diagnostic as I have humming and squeaking noise coming from my suspension. Guys did inspect the car, and said all is solid on the suspension, with having my tires cupped and needing an alignment. So I end up fixing nothing as they do not perform alignment but had a professional expertise and advice, at no cost!

Jim is very knowledgeable, and gets the job done right with quality parts.

I borrowed a friends TDI and it stopped making any power. They were amazing, honest, and went above and beyond. I will recommend them to all my friends!

BEST service and very honest. Saved me literally thousands by advising me of recall. Went to VW, fixed recall, then they fixed the rest to be sure those actually needed to be replaced after the recall fix. They did, and I was outta there as fast as it could have been. I have had service performed at Burlingame Independent several times while I was working in the San Mateo area. I cannot say enough good things about Jim. He patiently answered all my picky questions, performed work as quoted and was/is an absolutely pleasure to do business with. I will always try to go back here for service, but its not always the most convenient location for me to get to. 5+ stars. True Pros!

Had my 03 allroad (the real one) here three times in my year of ownership for both repairs and regular service and have been very impressed with Jim and his guys. Labor prices are very reasonable for VW/Audi in the Bay Area, and theyre very straightforward as to whether something is in need of being addressed or if its still good.The only downside is their hours are basically when Im work, and work is in San Jose, but its worth it to work around that as far as Im concerned. There is also a key drop for early drop off.

Honest, reliable and GREAT SERVICE. To make it better they are fair in pricing. After owning a Golf TDI and a Toureg 2 I found that they are the best in the Bay Area. Always in good mood, always willing to work with the customer, what else would you want!

I took my 1998 vw golf into this shop when my clutch pedal suddenly went to the floor. They quoted me $1400 for a clutch and assured me it was not a simple fix. So I sold my car for $400 to a guy on Craigslist. Turns out he was able to fix the car for $15 and the shop LIED TO ME! This place sucks, I recommend going to an honest shop like Freds Garage in Redwood City. Had I done that I would still be driving around in my beloved mk3 golf!
