Always excellent service, quality work and great staff. I get all my cars serviced here and each time, the service is thorough. Some times, I cant schedule an appointment in advance and have to drop in, but they always help me out and accommodate me. I highly recommend Hudson Automotive.
When something needs done with one of my vehicles, theres no question who I am taking it to. The guys at Hudson Automotive get the job done, and get it done right. Theyre honest and upfront. It doesnt matter if your car is new or old, Sean and his guys have you taken care of!
I love Hudson Automotive. I was referred to them and my first interaction with Mike was amazing. He is very personable, patient, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He answered the many questions I had since I had no clue how to proceed with the maintenance of my car. They took excellent Care of me and my car! I had no clue that my car breaks were almost about to fail and they saved my and my childrens life! They were very fair and communicated throughout the day of what they were going to do to my car. There were no hidden charges in the end. They were extremely professional, wise, comforting and made my experience the best ever. I will continue to drive 45 minutes just to use them and will send referrals to this amazing automotive business. Their shop is also amazing, you feel like you are in a beautiful automotive museum....clean, Professional and top notch mechanics! They are my super mechanic heros! Sean helped me gain referrals for other local mechanics to fix other issues with my vehicle, they went above and beyond my expectations!Thank you guysSincerelyKaren Jeffery-Wheeler
Honest and very knowledgeable people, Mike was specially helpful to in finding out the issue with my engine. Took all the time needed to provide me with the best and cheapest solution. Very happy with my visit.
These folks are amazing. Superb work, reasonably priced. Make a point of educating you about your choices, pro and con. Also the nicest folks going!
My son and I brought in a 1972 Buick Riviera to make road worthy. Being on a budget, Sean took me through the entire process slowly and carefully and explained every fix, the reason to do it and the cost. I felt very secure we were doing the right things at the right time and at the right cost. The car drives very well and I am extremely satisfied. I will have Sean work on another Riviera I just bought. His crew is also very helpful and proficient. I am putting a + after the 5 for this review.
Sean and his staff really know their stuff and go out of their way to provide the best service possible. Theyll let you know if there are any issues that will likely need to be done in the future and what the costs would be. They are extremely trustworthy and do a stellar job. Ive recommended them to all of my local friends and family and they are all satisfied customers as well.
Wow! Im impressed. Sean and his staff are unbelievable and really have customer service down well! Theyre honest and hard working and very very fair. My repair bill wasnt small but neither was the work load. I know what work has been done on my vehicle (I keep a ridiculous detailed log of it on my Google calendar) and have a not very common understanding of vehicles. This was my first experience with Hudson Automotive and I must say my BS meter never even engaged. Everything the recommended be done with my car was definitely in need and Sean even suggested a few things that could wait should I be on a budget. I couldnt help it... I had him fix it all at once! Better to attack a problem thats going to get worse and cause major issues soon.Sean appears to understand a very key thing in repeat business - honesty and trust. If your customers cant trust you, they wont come back - or worse - theyll tell others about how you did them wrong. I NEEDED a mechanic who I can blindly trust. I will never take this vehicle to another mechanic.+1 permanent customer!
Ive been using Sean and his crew for the past 10 years and they are outstanding. They can do it all, from fabrication work on classic cars to warranty service on newer models. His dad started the business in the 70s and Sean has continued the tradition, with a very loyal customer base that knows they can trust him. Bottom line: this is the place in San Mateo to get your car fixed.
Initially was upset because 1) they charged me $150 just to run a code reader and tell me my O2 sensor needs changed- and 2) they quoted me $500 to replace both in addition to the $150. I ended up buying the part for $60 bucks and in 10 minutes I had changed the upstream sensor myself. However, when I came back, they offered to reset my check engine light for free. They are always polite with me and do a great job - however what keeps me from putting 5 stars is that there prices are relatively high. You get good and prompt service- but youll probably find a cheaper deal if you shop around.
Theres guys are fantastic. Family fun business who care about the work they do. Dont charge for things they dont fix. Dont charge if they cant find the problem. Shop is very professional and clean as well...cant recommend them enough.
I went today to change the head lights. Service was great. Good owner and employees
Have known the Hudson family for years, they are the best! That’s why I keep coming back with all my cars and trucks. Will hit 250,000 miles on my Chevy truck this year because they know how to keep it running.
These guys are the best. Straightforward, speedy, clear explanations of everything. I am annoyed I paid for an extended warranty on my car - if I had it to do over, Id save the money and just bring the car to Sean every time
Best macanic you could ever go to for older cars. Been taking my 93 GMC Sanoma truck there for years. They take great care of my truck and give a very honest and open review of what needs to be done for safety and what you can get away with waiting on doing.
Extremely helpful, friendly, and honest. I took my car to get its AC fixed and for a check up before driving across the country to the east coast.
