DO NOT GET A SEARS HOME WARRANTY FOR YOUR HOME APPLIANCES. They do not EXIST anymore!They contract out to A & E Factory Services in Bay Area, which don’t repair or help. All the Sears repair appliances locations in the Bay Area are PERMANENTLY CLOSED. So they contract to local providers that work from home, they don’t have offices. NO WAY TO REACH THEM BY PHONE, EMAIL, TEXT, OR EVEN GO TO A LOCATION!A & E Factory Services gets paid BY THE TRIP, no incentive to fix a problem if they get paid to come back more trips to work on it! I had a gentleman come out from A & E AND IT WAS THE THIRD TECHNICIAN TO COME OUT TO SEE THE REFRIGERATOR. And I asked him why it’s taking sooo long to fix my refrigerator. He actually laughed at me and said “This is job security!” And I’ve come across A & E repair men in public and he offered to fix my refrigerator for CASH UNDER THE TABLE. It’s funny how they can fix my refrigerator for cash BUT THEY WON’T FIX IT WITH THE WARRANTY THAT I PAID $300.00 FOR!A & E offices are located in FLORIDA (or an overseas call center) They have no reason or incentive to help you.The company officially sent me 6 parts! It took 6 calls to get all 6 parts that were listed in the order.I have had 4 different repair men sent to my home since AUGUST 2020. It is now April Fool’s Day 2021. For every man that comes out to say they need a part, the next guy comes and says it’s not the right part I need!!! It’s a never ending struggle to get my refrigerator fixed and they are GETTING PAID!In short, please PLEASE save yourself the trauma and the misery! DO NOT BUY A SEARS WARRANT! It’s a waste of money.💰Lucky me! I just got a text saying he is coming tomorrow same time. Third time...no show?

Salesman Clarence, was awesome took the time to explain the washer dryers and alternatives. Then helped pick out mattresses for kids.Then, when I was getting in my car, came running out with my wallet that I left behind...there was over 1000 in it and he wouldnt take even 5 dollars...I offered him 50...negotiated down to 5...he still said he didnt feel right taking it.

If I could choose 0 stars it would be appropriate. This place is buyer beware. Washers say cosmetic damage, New out of box with hair in the front leaders filter. Even website told us the unit was available in Hayward store drove long way to purchase- NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE TOOM US TO SEE this unavailable washer. The San Leander Manager made up for the phony ads and we bought there, great service. I would give there a 8. Other help knew nothing about machine tagged New with hair.

I purchased a dishwasher online and tried to call to confirm that it would be available for pickup. No answer. The website states that you can pickup your purchase during business hours. So I went (almost an hour drive). Dishwasher was not there. Wasted time.

I bought a washing machine and dry machine in store at San Leandro, the dry machine it’s so bad, it so nose that’s why I return already, after that they said they have another machine, that’s new one, that’s good. I said ok and I came back to take that, but finally when It delivery to my store I saw it’s have a lot of hairs in machine, the machine does not new one, that’s old and that still so nose, I call to store to want to have some one come my store and pick it up come back, I want to return but I call 4 day and every day they told me they will ask manager call back me, I was wait and wait but no one call back. They just ask look like I pay all cash for them and now they don’t care does machine work or not. I’m really feel so bad with store at San Leandro and I never want to come back that

At first I wasnt sure about this place. We bought a sofa and loveseat that quite a bit of money and pay for delivery. Were all excited when we got it but when we finally got it inside it was the wrong one. So here we go with customer service effort! After a few phone calls and a few minutes on the phone each time we were able to schedule a delivery and pickup for the correct sofa.Not long after we got at home the material started to delaminate as it wasnt real leather. I dont really care if its Not real leather as long as it feels right. We went through a process with Guardian the people who we had this support contract with. They didnt really respond favorably and I was not satisfied with that.After making a few phone calls finally got ahold of a gentleman named Cody who is the regional manager for American Freight. He was very quick to resolve this matter to our satisfaction. He told us to come to the San Leandro store and speak with Clarence.. we just left the store a few minutes ago and ended up getting a new sofa new loveseat and a dryer. The only thing that they charged us for of is the difference between what we paid for the original sofa and the cost of the dryer less than three hundred bucks. Im very satisfied with the way that this was resolved and I would highly recommend that you shop at this place and give them a chance to show you what they can do in the event of a breakdown thats not their fault the manufacturer defect. Horrible experience!! Bought a gas stove for a rental unit and spent $710 including a service guarantee. I am purchasing a gas stove for the first time as others were electricity powered. Your salesman didnt provide any info regarding the hookup process. I am not aware your delivery people dont touch the gas hookup.Thats ok, I could have arrange staff to hook it up, since I was not advised, I didnt set that up. So the delivery people dumped the stove there and left.I spent numerous days attempting to setup a pickup service and I paid for it. I was given a date and time for the pickup. It was finally given a date on Aug 24 between 10am to 2pm. Well, I waited at empty rental unit from 930am to 2pm and no one show up or called to advise the pickup status. I called your office and the answer was I got towait as someone will notify me. I waited until 630pm and no one showup or called. I was sitting in an empty rental unit from 940am to 7pm!!Your pickup guy even attempted to charge me another pickup fee as they were there one time without notice, I cant have the stove connected as I need to hire the handymen. Your pickup people attempt to ask me to pay for another pickup since the stove was not disconnected.In any rate, I finally had to pay out of my pocket to have the stove removed.I called your office and complaint that your sales people should advise the customer to make ample preparation to hookup the gas stove. Unfortunately not one word was said or given any written advise what is required to hookup the gas stove.Thanks for the horrible experience, this was my second time doing business with your outfit. I will make very sure that is the final time!

Last Saturday I bought a sofa set, they told me on Thursday they would deliver it to me, I wait for almost a week! I paid more than 100 dlls for delivery and when they came to leave it they did not want to upload it to my apartment on the 3rd floor, that only 2nd floor! for only 20 steps they did not want to climb it! its ridiculous and silly! they lost a customer and a purchase for 20 steps! They are a very bad service. I do not recommend this store at all.

My wife and I purchased a GE Electric Range from this location. The sales clerk was very helpful as we explain what we needed to have done. We asked to have the appliance delivered and installed. In addition, we wanted to have the old unit removed for recycling. We waited three (3) weeks to have the appliance delivered. Today, the manager of the store and the truck driver arrived with the appliance. However, the driver refused to remove the old appliance from the kitchen. Stating that he would not uninstall the old appliance, it was my responsibility to uninstall the range. This is not the information we received from the sales clerk. The manager did not reply to my concerns, but allowed the driver to speak for him. They dropped the new range in the middle of my kitchen, covered in dust and left without installing the new range.The value of the range was not worth the treatment we received. Spend the extra dollars and get quality customer service and installation you are expecting. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!😡😡😡😡
