I love Che! I wish we had some Che dessert places in San Diego. Che used to be so rare to find, only at pho places or Vietnamese to go places. Now it’s getting to be on the point at every boba place. I’m glad because I love Che! I like this place because you can decide the sugar level. I got the suong sa hot luu and I enjoyed it! Totally needed after pho.
Great selection of drinks available. The dessert is also amazing. They have a French Cafe theme going on. The place is very popular with the young crowd.Drinks:Colada Tea Mango is delicious. Has a floral taste due to the white tea that they use. Comes with coconut pieces and syrup flavor. Great drink.Che Thap Cam is good. If you are not sure what Che to get. Get this. Its well balance and sweet to drink.Food:Cream puffs are delicious here. They arent made to order. The tiramisu is to die for. Dont get the cake version. Its not that great compared to the one you eat from the glass.Ambience:Seating inside and outside. Its very cozy indoor. Feels like you are in Paris.Parking:Parking is usually crowded.
Food and drinks were bomb af, definitely recommend
Really good dessert treats + a cup of coffee you can never go wrong.I got the chocolate cake and it was a bit on the dry side. I wish it was a moist chocolate cake! Other than that no complaints.
This place offers plenty of sweets and drinks. Unfortunately, my drink was not good at all. I got the oolong tea with grass jelly. The tea had a very weird taste to it and it was nothing like the oolong tea I’ve had elsewhere. It almost tasted like tap water. I’d avoid oolong tea from here if I were you.
Small, quaint space with many dessert and drink options. We waited about 5 minutes for drinks to come out. Easy to park nearby. Cant wait to go back!
By far, one of the best dessert shops in San Jose. Right in the heart of the Vietnamese shopping center, its a great place to escape and enjoy various desserts: Fench inspired baked goods, Asian dessert drinks (more than just milk tea with tapioca pearls), and smoothies. They also ask how sweet youd like your dessert drinks, which I really appreciate. I often take my out-of-town guests there after dinner to unwind.
Awesome milk tea drinks.
I was picking up food from Pho Hanoi across the way so thought Id try some pastries from this place. I tried the rum raisin pound cake and the snowball cake. The snowball is beautiful. The place is cute. However, both cakes werent very fresh. It could be because I came in the day after Christmas. Also the cakes were about $6 each and small. I havent tried the drinks and coffee.
Omg, one time I bought 10 cream puffs and ate ALMOST all of them. Definitely recommending the cream puffs, especially for small family gatherings. The cream filling inside is cool to the touch and it is a whole different experience in your mouth. Their beignets are tasty too. Ive also had #3 which is a coconut drink and it was pretty good as well.
I tried the jasmine green milk tea with egg pudding. The tea itself is good but the pudding has a really mushy texture compared to at other milk tea shops.Place itself looks really nice, though I wouldn’t stay here for more than the time to wait for my drink.Minimum $10 charge if you’re using a card, so thats an automatic -2 stars from me.
This place does not have a lot of choices for dessert. The service is very poor! The cashier person was not friendly at all when serving us and she was very rude! My mom pointed to the pastry which she wanted to order but the person who was serving us said cant you read ? That was unbelievable! This place needs major training to improve their customer service! We will not go back there until there is improvement on their customer service!
Ive tried 4 different hot and cold Vietnamese dessert soup. They were sweet, fresh, and flavorful. Highly recommend for cozy moments.
Terrible desserts. I bought 3 different cakes and i didnt like any of them
The taro milk tea here slaps!I came here with my cousins once to get food and decided to get a taro milk tea with 0% sweetness and pearls. The drink has fresh taro and you can taste it. A lot of places I know use taro powder or boba mix, but you can really taste the difference here. The color also is more natural, which I love. The boba isnt anything special, but I appreciate how its not super sweet like other places. The cashier was super funny and even when our Viet wasnt spot on, she still understood us and was able to get our order in.
I love the variety of drinks you can get here. The taste is also amazing. You can customize your drink to taste at order time and the have an overwhelming selection for you to choose from. One of my favorite destinations for Boba drinks.
This place was so good it had such a variety of drinks we could hardly decide what we wanted because we wanted everything hahaha dont go there hungry! 😁
Awesome desserts! A must go to place when youre in Little Saigon area
This cafe combines the best of Asian (Vietnamese) dessert shop with European coffee and pastries shop. Especially noteworthy is how you can specify how sweet the dessert drinks are made, 50,75,100 percent. I went there twice last week but havent had a chance to sample large enough yet to give it a five stars.
Desert was better than drink. The original smoothie which cashier said made from fresh fruits actually not comes from fruits but concentrate or something else.It is a good place to have something if pass by.
Went to this place to try on a Tuesday afternoon. No line, but had a handful of people in it. I recommend the White Peach Green Tea (no milk) 50% sweet if youre not into super sweet drinks like me! It was pretty syrupy and Im not all too sure they use real tea, but the flavor was definitely delicious. You can choose your sweetness and they have a variety of toppings. They also have other things like macaroons, mochi ice cream, macaroon ice cream, and a plethora of cakes. I will most likely comeback to try the macaroons!
Clean,ok american coffee shop style, nice location, the coffee could be better,I ordered the cappuccino but the taste was bland
Good drinks
The store is quite small so in crowded time you might be unable to find a seat. The food is quite good but a bit too sweet, but you can order 50% sweetness if you like. The beverage I like most is Sea Salt Coffee.
Excellent place. Good drinks good desert great workers
Good che drinks! We had #13 and #14. Warning we asked for 50% sweetness and it was really sweet.
Awesome comfy place for desserts, coffee, cakes, and lots of different kinds of Vietnamese desserts. Personally I like the creme brulee, hot ché, and mochi ice cream.
Not cheap, but delicious. Very friendly staff. I recommend a stop here. Try the 🥑 smoothie with pearls.
Great place for a quick sweet drink. Good selection of cakes.
Che tastes less sweet than bamboo and still hits the spot. This is the spot we come to for chao creme brulee and taro milk tea. Parking can be a bit difficult during peak hours but never an issue.
I would definitely take a date here. Great variety of drinks and sweets! Nice music too.
Love there desserts and traditional vietnamese desserts too! Hits the spot everytime
There are many options for drinks ranging from ché to tea to coffee to smoothies. They offer varied pastries as well from cheesecake to creampuffs.
A wide variety of desserts: boba milk tea, Vietnamese che, macaroons, cakes, and ice cream mochi. You can adjust sweetness levels of drinks, as well as ice levels. Everyone can find something theyll want to eat here. They also have a few specials, like green Thai tea. Specials will run out near the end of the day though. Can get quite crowded and seating is limited. But its in a large plaza so you can find alternative places to chill. Have never been disappointed whenever I go here.
Love their mouth watering pastries, best pair to their milk teas.
Nice little bedroom, great location, very friendly owner, thank you.
Great snack and dessert. I will highly recommend it.
Very rich and authentic bubble teas, youre paying for quality yet its still reasonable. Taro milk tea had actual pieces of Taro root blended into it! They also carry fresh European desserts daily from Blood Orange Mascarpone to Cannolis and Tiramisu.
Good service and very good menu
This place has everything! Delicious drinks, cake, cream puffs, and even ice cream mochi. We always grab a drink each and share the mochi ice cream. Made it a point to stop down here every time after visiting San Jose.
The smoothie drinks have gone downhill. Such as the durian and the avocado smoothies. I went back a few times to see if my previous time was just a bad batch, but no. They cut out durian and use less avocados in their avocado smoothies. Was one of my favs, wont be back
Currently my favorite Vietnamese dessert place. All the drinks are well made.
Since my sweet tooth is almost as loud and proud as my coffee tooth(#CoffeeTooth) my radar did the Carlton(dance)after two of my most recent visits to The Sweet Corner in South San Jose. Their menu is dense, fluffy and choke full of dessert goodness.I have literally tried all of their -jitos, fresh juices with sparkling soda, and theyre a simple and light dessert drink to grab and go. The interior is very parisian cafe cutesy and although there isnt ample seating there are tables available.Service is mostly speedy and has always been friendly. Cant wait to try their other menu options soon.
The place was crowded and yeah they were quick to take my order but the Taro milk tea is the best Ive had and the sweets are delicious. The price can be kinda high but for this excellent quality why complain
Very good tea... Recommend white peach or passion fruit.
There are so many varieties of desert, one would wonder when able to try them all. Always crowded and not enough seats.
Awesome place for boba tea, dessert, coffee
Good place to hang out in summer time for family
Sweet corner is actually located on a corner in Vietnam town. It has cute decorations that remind you of a little French bistro. Its located in an area thats walking distance of TeaLyfe where I would prefer to go if I wanted solely boba. However, Sweet Corner has its own charms. I really like the selection of teas that they have. I can get both Chai and Chrysanthemum which I cant get at most boba places. In addition, they have che which makes them stand out. If youre not in the mood for a drink, they also have prepped desserts already that you can order such as macarons, tiramisu cake, and mochi. Its a cute little spot to hang out (though it gets really crowded during the evening hours) and I would recommend going because they have tons of variety. Note: You have to buy more than $10 in order to use card!
Cute little Vietnamese dessert (che) place serving various che, tapioca drinks, and pastries. Drinks were on the heavily sweetened side, but were fresh and service was great.
Cute little place in the vietnam town of SJ. Their cream puffs are great. Green tea tiramisu cake was ok. I also ordered the soursop smoothie, which was quite good. They have pretty good free wifi.
A great variety of drinks here including milk tea, iced tea, coffee, etc. My hubby had their che and it was pretty tasty. I tried the chestnut milk tea and it was okay, but the chestnut flavor was too subtle. The drink sizes are pretty big though and reasonably priced. Id like to try the nutella flavor next time! They also have some desserts like macarons and creme brulee. I tried an amaretto creme brulee today and it was okay, but it would have been better if they torched the top after you order it.
Ordered Chè and while eating it, found a piece of metal in it, and the beans we’re very spoiled.
Drink quality and taste went down compared to b4. With a higher price tag
Ive only been there once and this place is ok. It seems like every other boba place in SJ. after my first visit I havent had a inkling to come back because it wasnt that great.
The taro drinks are made from REAL taro, and not that purple powder.
I am very disappointed with the desserts here. There is nothing I could recommend about this place, except dont go here expecting to find good desserts.
They take Google Hands Free!
Tried the red velvet cake for the first time and you can tell it was old because the cake itself was really hard and the cream cheese frosting tasted old as well, very stale...🤷🏽♀️
My favorite tea from this place is cream brulee milk tea
Alright, but overhyped desert place
Drinks can be a bit expensive. $7 for boba..
Love them
