Hes amazing! Old world craftsmanship, and a friendly, interesting person to boot. He may not be the easiest person to schedule an appointment with, but it is worth the hassle. He is a talented perfectionist, and he got my middle schoolers Fox bassoon playing better than ever.

Way back in 2006, I bought a old wooden flute off eBay. It was in okay condition, but playing it in a dry high desert area, the wood got too dry, and the tuning barrel cracked. I sent it to the Deitch workshop, and they manufactured a new barrel with wood that perfectly matched the old. It looks so good, you cant tell that its a replacement. They also fixed some of the problems with the keys being bent or having weak joints, and replaced some of the pads that were poorly done by my local music shop. Its been 13 years, and the flute is still in great condition. I just found the receipt in my files, so my great experience was brought to mind today. True professionals, and highly recommended.
