I needed a small trailer for a small and quick job. Walked in, was attended to in less than 2 min, told the guy what I was looking for and then the entire transaction was quick and painless. I drove my car towards the trailers and a helper came to attach the trailer to my car and check the lights and I was done in about 25 min. Drop off was also very easy. They email the contract/invoice/return receipts.Tip: Always make sure you are taking before and after pictures and videos of the rentals and clean the equipment before returning, atleast in the same condition, if not better.Overall: Easy, Fast and painless experience.

Long ago, U-Haul was a mess: defective vehicles, poor materials, undependable reservationsThey have improved greatly, surpassing their rivals (who seems to have declined a bit), and making good use of internet and mobile appsThe lines can be long when checking in at the end of the day, especially on weekends. They have self-service drop-off (and self-service box buying!), so one can avoid some of theseThe staff at this location (and the S SF location) are cheerful and patient

Helped one of my friends go to pickup a pickup truck the other day and it took him almost 20 minutes to get a vehicle he had reserved several days before. At a normal rental company this might have been expected but the time was only as long as it was because of the app which he apparently struggled with. When we showed up to drop off the truck later that day there was a box truck blocking the exit for probably 5 minutes like they were closing early. Despite this, the vehicle did its job well and was relatively affordable but still a hassle to get.

Patience is what you need here. There is only 1 person in the morning at rush hour. It takes ~10min to check in 1 person. You wait so long you have time to write a review here.But the staff is good.

It fills and sells propane. Good prices and convenient.

They close the gates to early and the trucks people rented are stuck outside on the sidewalk crazy! But a great u haul!!

In a tremendously sketchy area - people just hanging around and a car caravan parked on the side of the road - not the best place to bike to - but the attendant who took the truck from me when I returned it was nothing but a star, so it’s great other than the location

Poor cutomer service. Lost time.no truck at first location. Lost my city 75 dollars for the truck parking. Lost my movers as they had to leave for another job. All lost over 700 dollars in one day. Due to uhaul.

Only location on the greater bay area with the receiver I needed and it was actually available when I arrived for same day pick up. Prompt, accurate, and simple service. Appreciated it.

This is must go place for propane refills. I was sick of getting not full bottles at gas station. You know exactly how much gas you are getting plus cheaper rates for propane

Customer service was very poor. They didnt have the trailer size we needed and the best they could do was recommended we call the U-Haul 1-800 number...they were almost annoyed by us from the moment they realized they couldnt meet our needs. Feels like a franchise where the franchisee could care less about the brand.

They told me a trailer would be available for me to pick up but when I went i was told there was none available and that my reservation wasnt found. They kept me going back-and-forth for a whole week

Used to be a good place with good customer experience. Now not worth it to go there.

They “accidentally” charged me for an extra day. When i tried calling them to get it fixed, they keep telling that they will look into it with no progress.

Total disaster. Made an appointment to get a tow hitch installed over a week in advance. They knew exactly what the make and model or my car is. On day or I dropped off my car. Didn’t hear from them all day. Tried calling and couldn’t get through. At end of day I showed up and saw my car without a hitch installed. They informed me that they didn’t have the part. They claimed to have tried to call me, once, though I had no missed calls and no voicemail. My plans to take my trailer out this weekend were ruined with no customer support. Meanwhile I’m out the $35 spent on Uber.

Terrible customer service slow, and they take the customer as if he exists. They should improve customer service there are occasions that we will have 2 customers in line and there are almost 5 people at the counter and they act as if no one is in the place
