Very professional, helpful and resourceful, especially when we had underestimated how much stuff we had compared to our container size. Kevin and his team were easy to deal and quick to inform us of our issue as well as help come up with solutions. We used them for packing, moving and temporary storage. normal San Francisco prices but you get your moneys worth hiring them. Would hire again if needed.
I have used Corrib in the past for a a few city moves and they did a good job with minimal damage to items, except for one where they shattered a glass table and replaced it with a knock-off (which I pointed out to them and they corrected later). For this last move where they were packing for a cross-country move on an trailer, the quality was very poor as documented by the attached photos. An expensive $2K+ glass coffee table was ruined due to them shoddily wrapping in a blanket. A very nice $1K+ living room chair was damaged by them not wrapping the legs and propping it against a metal railing that carved into it like a saw as a result during transit. Equally expensive flat screen TVs were packed by partially wrapping in paper, thats it. Multiple heavy boxes were placed on top of fragile items causing damage. See the photos and video from the movers who unpacked all of these items. Most concerning is the response to the feedback. The manager Kevin apologized, admitted to the negligence: I will approach my crew about these flaws and mistakes and try to insure they dont happen in the future ... The glass should have been boxed not blanket wrapped. The chairs should not have been placed the close to the metal rail., -but then said good luck. They had refused to insure the move since they said could not be responsible for poor transit but when you actually *admit to the negligence* that resulted in the irreparable damage to thousands of dollars of items, shouldnt you as a practice of good business do something/anything other than saying its not your problem? When I said his response was disappointing, he said I cannot offer more than an apology and wish you best of luck win your new home and try to understand that in a move across the country you had 1 chip on a piece of glass and 1 scratch on a dining leg and a couple broken dishes. ( should not have happened ) but please try to have a bit of perspective on the scope of your move and the huge discount you got compared to using a long distance company.I dont know how a lower cost than full service movers excuses negligence but in Kevins mind, it does. Its like he is saying you get what you pay for, lower cost = lower quality. He also asked me to compare them to the movers here in Maryland. I told him they (the ones I used to unpack) were cheaper, more professional, and lower cost. He then sent me stale cost of living data for Maryland with an erroneous conclusion about it being cheaper here than the rest of the US to justify the lower cost which I corrected. The defensiveness and lack of true accountability is disappointing. I wasnt asking him to pay for replacements or anything like that, but felt like something more than Im sorry, good luck was merited.Kevin has replied and said I would not have written the review if he had paid me. That is incorrect. If he shares the full correspondence as he has offered to anyone, even though it is illegal to share private correspondence with a customer without their consent, it would clearly illustrate that I was not asking for money in exchange for not writing a review. I wrote the review of the poor experience because of his lack of care for his teams direct responsibility in the damage to those items, it was a poor outcome. But its an easy narrative for him to concoct and one that still dismisses the point that he thought nothing more was needed than an Im sorry, good luck when he admitted his teams negligence caused the damage. Thats the thing I want everyone to understand. Because he legally didnt have to do anything, he wont. Thats just bad business and I am more than entitled to share my experience as a business review. You can see his underlying tone in the correspondence, its dismissive, sarcastic and condescending, and clearly something he has had to deal with before so he has a playbook he runs: blame the customer. This is the first 1 star review I have ever left on Google. And its for a reason.
The guys from Corrib did a *great* job! From the start of the process, Kevin was super courteous and clear with his communications on scheduling, estimate, etc. On the day of the move, the guys were on time and worked very quickly but professionally - did not scratch the walls or any of the furniture, etc. There was a particularly tricky large desk that I was mentally prepared to part with because I couldnt imagine how they would get it out of that narrow old building and up into the new one, but they are pros and safely moved it! From arrival at my old apartment to leaving from my new one, the whole process took less than 4 hours, which was amazing. (It took me 2 hours just to pack my car full of the loose stuff.) I will definitely use Corrib again if I have to move!
This was the third time using Corrib as they were wonderful in the past. I will never use them again. I do not have one piece of furniture that did not get damaged in some way (scratches, dents, rubbed off finish due to lack of wrapping or padding, etc.); broken dishes; a boot print on my microwave (yes, someone stepped on it!); and then attitude when I asked about damage I saw. I have never been so disappointed in a service I trusted.
Used this company for my move from a house in Fremont to an apartment in SF. The team of three guys were awesome. Super polite, professional, punctual and fast. Reasonably priced and completely open with all cost involved. Called me twice in the week leading up to the move to confirm timing and details. Cost about $2k for the 7 or so hours that it took to pack, load, drive and unload. Highly recommend Corrib if you are planning a move in the Bay Area.
We hired Corrib to move from our Mission District Apartment to a new house in Noe Valley. I have to say, it was about the best possible moving experience I could imagine. The team was professional, efficient, fast, didnt scratch anything (which is amazing) and were very easy to communicate with throughout the process. Not only that, the final price was almost 1K less than the original quote they had given me. Ricky, the crew leader, was really fantastic, as were the rest of the crew members throughout the move. Thank you!!!!!
Kevin the owner so helpful in helping to schedule a move for us in SF on short notice. The moving team was excellent! Very professional, pleasant and efficient! They just knew what they were doing and took a huge load of stress off the move. 100% recommend!
Good work great service. I would highly recommend Corrib to friends and family.
These guys are total professionals and take wonderful care of you in a very stressful time. So very worth the already affordable price by comparison in the industry
Although still exhausted from the rigors of our move just five days ago, we will remember and be forever grateful to Brian and the three other gentlemen of his team for their highly professional expertise. Additionally, they also were very courteous and most considerate toward the needs of this old couple.
Big thanks for making my move so easy and painless.Very responsive and efficient.Accurate on time and very nice to you.I didnt have much stuff but what I had was mostly fragile glass and statues and vintage dishes that I was so worried about. I have broken a couple of those when I first moved to US. So I was very nervous. Luckily, none of them broke this time, and its all because of the care and attention of these guys!
My husband and I moved with them twice in SF (we just completed the second move), and Trove connected us with them. Both times, movers were efficient, professional and courteous. They divided and conquer seamlessly, and they packed & moved without any damage. The storage service was very convenient, too.Movers have been very cheerful, and they worked really hard. My building management messed up the elevator and tried to rush them - they were calm and professional.
Just completed a small office move with Corrib -- this is the second move Ive done with them, and I honestly think they are the best movers in SF. Corrib was recommended to me by my realtor, who uses them exclusively. Ive had some bad experiences with other local movers, so it was refreshing to find that everyone I dealt with at Corrib was so professional and polite. The crew arrived on time, moved everything in and out efficiently, and not one thing was damaged. The total cost of the move seemed very reasonable, and its just a pleasure to work with a quality operation like this. Cant recommend them highly enough.
I have worked with Corrib moving twice and they are amazing! They did our move from SF to Peninsula in 3 hours and were so good at moving our furniture and didnt scratch any walls at all, so professional! I would completely recommend them and they are totally worth the price! They also fulfilled all the requirements with our HOA to move in and out.

Always reliable! Used them three times already.
Sam, Sampson and Mike were awesome. Easiest move ever. Professional, quick, and nice guys. And Kevin and Seamus did a great job setting it all up.
Great guys, real professional movers. Treat your stuff with respect. Storage is easy at their facility. Good, simple system. Would definitely recommend.
Corrib was fantastic. Their two man team moved our 1 bedroom worth of furnishings from a storage unit near Fruitvale over to near Ashby BART in just over 2 hours. In contrast, it took my wife and I about 90 minutes to unload our truck and put it in storage. It also took near 4 hours for two movers in DC to fill our rental truck up for the same amount of stuff (and while they had an elevator and some wrapping to deal with, they didnt cross town or unload the truck).Point being Corribs crew rocked. They were also very professional and friendly, and I was able to get a Saturday reservation just a few days ahead of time. Cant recommend them enough.
I will have them move me to Parkmerced for their international roommate program
