I love Woodlands market the quality of food is truly amazing, please keep it going!! Last time I visited The valet parking, I was completely screwed over. First off, valet told me it was free parking for woodlands. Then when I returned, clearly with many bags of groceries they began to hassle me for a parking fee and a receipt of sorts!!!!!I refused. As I was clearly told “free parking” and I had my hands full of Woodlands markets Grocery bags!!!!!!Well honestly, I resulted to screaming and yelling and acting like a spoiled child in order to get me Car!!It was a total, set up. Please woodlands if I pay to shop at your store and I am screwed over in the parking garage. Welll clearly I won’t visit this woodlands location again

I worked nearby from August 2020 through April of 2021. While I will not miss my former job, I will miss visiting this incredible establishment. The staff at the bakery /coffee counter are outstanding, very friendly, and efficient. Stopping by for my large french roast on a daily basis was truly the highlight of my morning. I also enjoyed the fantastic selection of sandwiches and salads available at lunch and the creative and delicious dinner choices to take home. They also have beautiful flower arrangements to brighten any setting. This market rivals Harrods in London for quality and quantity and is truly a gem. I will stop by whenever I have a chance to visit the neighborhood.

Great for specialty items and on the occasion “forgot something” market run in my neighborhood. However, this place is absurdly OVERPRICED! Everything is about $2-3 more than typical places including Whole Foods. Alcohol is about $10 more than KW wines. Not sure how anyone can justify the prices here. The plus side is that they do have a good wine selection and the staff is very friendly.3 stars on price.

Great neighborhood grocery store with both everyday household brand names and local merchants. If you have a specific item that you’re looking for they probably have it. I was looking for weeks to find bee pollen and truffle oil as I didn’t want to buy online. I found them both here! Every Whole Foods, Target, Safeway etc didn’t have it. The cashiers and staff are really nice and helpful. I love all the sushi selections too. :)Definitely a place where you can find local craft beers and alcohol as well. I’ve tried some pretty tasty ones that I would have never heard of until I found it at Woodlands.

I don’t know how you guys manage to overcook the meats in the hot bar section like 90% of the time. Truly baffling. Like do your recipes call for overcooking? The meats are dry like the Sahara. Seriously. So consistently bad. Ever thought of just dialing back the timer a few minutes on these? Ever even taste test the food? It’s not that hard. You’d figure at these 20%+ higher prices than Whole Foods that they would use the extra cash to figure out how to improve quality. But no. Of course not.*update: bought tots ands potatoes same day thinking one of them would be done right. Tots where overcooked. Potatoes were, as Gordon Ramsay would say, *%^$ing RAW.

The team here goes above and beyond for their customers! I live in the neighborhood and am extremely apprehensive about covid (probably more than is rational), but the team here has gone out of their way to help me feel safe. Back in March (when I thought the apocalypse was coming), the owner Greg helped me stock up (and even choose canned foods based on caloric content). And then, after helping me for over an hour, he and another employee pushed my carts of groceries UP A HILL TO MY APARTMENT. Even in the elevator, all the way up to my door! And the more recently, I needed oat milk but was too scared to go inside the store (it’s very clean and controlled, I’m just afraid of being inside). Another employee set aside two Oatly oat milks for me and rang me up at the bakery so I was in and out w/o having to stand in line or even really be inside the store for more than 5 minutes. They are SO ACCOMMODATING and really care about our neighborhood community 🥰🥰

Me and my mom went to SF for the first time in late July and we popped in here and we loved it! They offered masks which was so nice since I had left mine in the car by mistake. Everything was safe and clean. Outdoor seating was still there. The staff were really nice too ☺️ this market has a LOT of things, a lot of variety! House stuff like paper towels and lots of soaps, and soooo many dry goods as well. Theres healthy things yes, but also just everyday normal foods like chips and such. Which was good to see 🙈The veggies/fruit were fresh and they had market-made treats and pastries too, very well packaged. We had purchased the chocolate covered strawberries and they were very delicious 😋 definitely would like to come again 🙏🏼 ☺️

It is a bit pricey, but great quality and fun to shop neighborhood mart to shop for cheese and wine section that seems reasonably priced. It’s worth a stop. It’s in my neighborhood when l am in San Francisco. I am giving the market three stars because l stopped by today to buy some baked goods, I was extremely appalled to see that the staff at the bakery didn’t use gloves. Secondly, they should find a better solution for covering food in the hot bar. Furthermore, the salad bar was exposed. Given the fact that we are in a health crisis, it bothered me to see that their staff did not wear gloves.

5 stars for quality and variety of products, 1 star for price and value. There is a lot of delicious food here, both packaged and ready-to-eat, but the prices are very expensive.1. Hot breakfast bar in the morning, with a variety of healthy and delicious foods. Also, hot lunch bar, and salad bar, as well as sandwiches. Basically, great food varieties for both breakfast and lunch. ($12/lb)2. Great bakery choices, including Dynamo Donuts. The Wise Sons Chocolate Babka Bread is also delicious, but you have to buy a whole loaf ($13).3. Great olive bar, cheese bar, wine and alcohol selections.4. Unique yogurt selections.5. Unique non-dairy milk selections.6. Pretty decent macaroons.7. Coffee shop (but never tried)But yeah, the prices though!

Quality and Convenience at a price! Woodlands is very close to the high rise cluster on Rincon Hill and “East Cut.” They have a really good selection of ready to eat foods mostly made fresh daily. They also have an okay selection of beer, wines, and liquor for a small food store. If you can only walk a few blocks, it’s better and less expensive than Uber Eats. But, if you can walk a bit further, Whole Foods or Safeway offers much better value for money.

Its like whole foods but a bit better quality and attention to detail. I believe they only have a few stores, the first was across the street from my middle school in Kentfield CA. Almost everyday after school all the kids would go there and hang out so Ive been familiar with them for a while.Just like the original Kentfield location, the SF location is well lit, organized and extremely clean. They have done the most Ive seen a business do to help protect against the spread of covid19; sanitizing wipes *as well* as pump-dispensed gel sanitizer at each of the checkouts. Thats not all however- there was also a real working sink inside but right at the exit! This was a joy to use. Soap for 20 seconds then pressed on the footpump to rinse, dry off with a couple hand towels and one more to push the dood open. And that was it, the most considerate and thorough shopping experience I ever had. Big chain grocery stores occasionally offer sanitizing hand wipes but Woodlands really go above and beyond in this regards..

Good location but food should not be moldy and/or expired. I don’t expect to have to check items to make sure they are still safe to eat prior to purchase at an upscale grocery.I picked up a “fresh” pizza on the way home to make for guests. This is not a place to do your regular grocery shopping - they only sell expensive premium stuff, with an additional extra-high markup for location. But if you live or work in the area and need to pick up that one thing you forgot, or if you want something nice to bring to a party, they have the goods.
