Cancellation fee is more expensive than the eye appointment. Even with a valid reason, they refused to waive the fee.
Sloppy, rushed eye exam without pupil dilation and a number of other standard things. Then the prescription provided didn’t include the pupillary distance (that was an extra $20 fee). Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that cares about its patients and isn’t just in it to sell you overpriced glasses.
I had two things that I needed done, an eyeglass prescription and I had some pain in my lower eyelids. She told me she could only do one or the the other because my insurance would only pay for one of the two things at a time and I should come back next week for the other thing. The last thing I will do is come back on my rare day off because you simply want to get more money out of me. So, I just got my lens prescription and after that looked into getting glasses. Well, the glasses rack that would be covered under my insurance was all but bare but they have plenty of choices if you want to spend $300-$800 dollars out of your pocket. Its your choice not buy as a customer so just buy them online and avoid getting ripped off. Overall all, they are just about money.
Had an eye issue they fixed up perfectly. Recommended!
Great Optometry office. Many name brand frames to chose from. Very helpful staff and awesome Doctors with many years of experience. Highly recommended.
Dont be fooled by the hours of operation they list. Their hours are in fact whenever we feel like showing up for work. Probably not when you are here
I had a bad experience here and do not recommend Valencia Optometry. I am new in town and went to them because they are close to where I live. After rushing through a contact lense and eyeglass exam, the optometrist lowered my contact lense prescription on both eyes and, without offering an explanation, changed the brand of my contacts. I have worn contacts for 30 years and did not have any complaints; I simply needed an annual exam so that I could purchase more contacts. I did not like the new brand and had to make an appt for a 2nd visit (5 day wait time) to request a prescription with the brand I have been using for 15+ years. The pair of contacts they gave me at the 2nd visit (new brand, lowered prescription) stick to my eyeballs like Scotch tape and my distance vision is now blurred, presumably because the prescription for both eyes was lowered (!). I made a 3rd visit to get a prescription with the brand and correction that was working for me. They talked to me about blurred vision when reading, which I am aware of and which I am correcting with magnifiers and which was not the problem. They wanted me to return for a 4th visit. I do not have confidence in them at this point, and they are wasting my time. I will have to pay for another exam elsewhere. In the meantime, I will be wearing the contacts they gave me that blur my vision and give me a dull headache all day, as I have run out of contacts and still do not have a current prescription, despite spending $200 and making 3 visits.
My doctor was very on point with my eye needs. I will recommend them to anyone.Thx
This place on 2017 got so worser, ivette lopez, and dr martha klufas doesnt know what kind of lenses or contacts are perfect for clients, very bad customer service, they both look at you like if you dont know nothing, like stupid, seriously and honestly starting 2018 I will go somewhere else, ivette sold me some lenses that are not my. Gradation size, she always blames it at the Drmartha klufas, everybody watch out for this place, they stole out my pocket $530 and the insurance pay the rest cigna I dont recomemended no body to go there.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE; rushed (left like an assembly line), rude service, and unappreciated as a new client. Will not be returning......
Weve been on holiday in San Francisco when my girlfriend lost one of her contact lenses. The service at the slot was superb and I can highly recommend going there.
