I was SO pleased with my eye exam with Dr. Vrouvas! He takes his time and is very thorough, asking about my general health, what my life style is, etc... as a way to understand my needs more fully. I hadnt previously thought about how other general health conditions (cholesterol for example) can affect the eyes. My previous eye doctor was very perfunctory, just did the basics and had me in and out in a very short time. I felt so much better taken care of with this more in-depth exam. Oh and not to mention: he has the latest technology to take pix of your eyes w/o dilation... and he goes over the pix with you explaining what you see. Really terrific eye doctor!

Dr. Vouvras is a friendly eye expert whose depth of knowledge and willingness to share insights into my eye health and condition is much appreciated. His exam includes an optical scan (most optometrists dont have) that produces a high resolution image of the internal eye that may reveal underlying health conditions and that can be compared to prior years. I always feel well taken care of at his practice.

He is very thorough with his examinations and always takes the time to explain to me the results of the tests. He always finds the time to ask about my health in general and how it relates to the tests. He shows me comparisons of the tests from previous years. Im never kept waiting for my appointments. His staff is very cordial, friendly and professional. Always a pleasure seeing Dr. Vrouvas and his two assistants. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes up to an hour in the most thorough and telling exam. I learn a lot beside what glasses formula I need like level of cholesterol shown in eye veins, condition of retina. Mine is lifting a little. I learned Im starting to form cataracts and need more light to read now and probably surgery in 3 years.
