OK checkup experience. Responded quickly to inquiries. Former patient of Dr. Bert, who occupied the same office. New patient, but I think I’ll return.Edit: I tried to return, but doctor went on pregnancy leave and never followed up with me after trying to make an appointment. It doesnt seem like they want my business, so I moved to a new doctor.
Ive never left a review but this place deserves one.I would say they are not organized at all, seriously save your money and take your business elsewhere. I had a great experience getting my exam done but when it comes to paying and dealing with the insurance they drop the ball. I spent at least 20 minutes after my appointment getting a breakdown of the costs for new contact lenses, left happy, just to be called days later saying they havent ordered my trials because I didnt pay a fee. A fee that was never told to me about to begin with! (Which by the way, the fitting fee for contacts is RIDICULOUS $300+ w/some insurance) THEN, after I pay and make it very clean we are on a very strict timeline, so the order needs to be placed they agree to it. THEY DONT PLACE THE ORDER! . The phone conversation was on Monday, I wanted to pay the fee on Wednesday but was told I wouldnt receive them in time so Monday is the best bet so I did it. And now, its Friday, and the order was just placed and should be received by mid next week. So now im racing the clock for my insurance expiration.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. They are so unorganized its so ridiculous.
This practice was ruined with their acquisition by Atlantis Eyecare. Ive never experienced such rude behavior and complete lack of customer service from a medical service provider. I had put in a request for a sample pair of contacts (with is standard operating procedure at every other eyecare practice Ive worked with in the past). The optician said that she would need to get the request approved by management before being able to order them. Weeks went by, not a word. When I called to follow up, the optician said she hasnt heard back yet and didnt offer to do anything about it, saying thats how things work around here. I let my sentiments about their customer service be known, and was rudely hung up on. I had to physically go down to their office to retrieve my prescription/records so I could transfer my business to a new provider. Do yourself a favor and steer clear from this place.
