Elbert is the best there is in the San Francisco area, hands down. I had a flight at 9am last week and broke my phone the day before my flight. My phone basically had no touch sensitivity which made me anxious because all my information and trip info was stored in the phone and I had no access. I called Elbert all desperate hoping he would fix my phone the next day before my trip. Sure enough he got back to me and agreed to meet before my flight at 7am (outside his operating hours.) Within 15 minutes he was able and to get it fixed. I made my flight and was able to use my phone. The screen is top quality and I will continue going back with Elbert! You also can’t beat the prices!

Elbert is the only person you should use to fix your phone in SF. Ive used him 3 times now for various smashed screens, charger issues etc. and every time I am so impressed. Late last night I got back to SF from a biz trip, and have to fly out again tomorrow, so I was stressed out as my phone wouldnt charge and just before I lost battery at 630am I requested an appointment online, and within minutes, so early am, he texted back and was here a few hours later at my door ! Amazing service with a smile, honest and so reasonable priced. I travel for business a lot, meet a lot of corporate folks and I gotta say, this guy would teach a lot of people how to run a successful business and make customers happy .. so impressive to see a young dude, professional, responsive and at top of his game. I have had pretty much every iPhone since day one and because of my profession I go through them like most people go through water. That being said I have done business with a lot of different phone repair services. I will say Elbert’s company is top notch and as good as it gets. I went to the Apple store in Union Sq because I jumped into a hot tub with my phone and accidentally plugged in the charger without letting it fully dry. Thought Apple could easily fix the issue (the screen went crazy and then blacked out, but I was pretty sure it was still working - would vibrate when plugged in, toggling the silent switch would also vibrate it).Apple refused to fix it because of warranty issues or some other invalid reasons, and just wanted me to buy a new phone. Heck no! I refused and was super worried because I also havent backed up my phone in a while either.I found Gelatotech and Elbert, and he was at my place within 30 minutes. Elbert is very efficient, gets the job done quick. He fixed both, the back and the front of my iPhone XSMAX. The back took him a few hours because he needed to remove the glass but finished it within a couple of hours. The front on another hand WOW it was so fast, he came to my job got the phone and finished fixing it within 10mins. One of the best experiences Ive had with any vendor. Super responsive from first contact, booked quickly, came to me, did the work almost instantly, everything worked perfectly, all at a fair price. Replaced both battery and charge port in maybe 10min tops. And Elbert is one of those people you just feel the decency of immediately. What can I say Elbert’s service was amazing better than any other phone repair company I have went to. To start off he was really fast in responding back to me to request a screen repair so that’s a plus. My iPhone 8 had not powered on because of a hard hit on the wall. He soon found the logic board was broken and the repair was supposed to take like 4 days. I contacted the company on Memorial Day because it had the highest reviews and they happened to be open. They are fully mobile and really do come to you! I am glad I didnt wait to do my phone repair because Elbert mentioned that since my phone was overheating, it would have damaged internal parts if I hadnt done it quickly.From the first phone call, Elbert was extremely responsive, professional and knowledgable. I wasnt sure what to expect but he was super fast, and so far my phone is fully functioning after we decided that the best route would be to have him replace the display with an original part.I highly recommend Gelatotech and if I ever need repair services, they will be the first ones I call!

Ima just start by saying the one star is for the guy being friendly and that they come to you to fix your phone. I cracked my iPhone screen but everything worked perfectly, the screen was just broken. I call these guys up and they came to fix my screen and they did, my phone looks good after they change the screen but he did some thing to the camera for my Face ID wouldn’t work anymore. He tried to fix three times but the Face ID didn’t work. He ended up just saying to take it to apple and that they’ll fix. Like he didn’t even offer to lower the price knowing that he did something to my iPhone that wasn’t right. I’ve fixed my other phones at other places and this never happened, so I won’t recommend this place to anyone, look for better service else where.

Loved the fact that they come to your house to fix the devices. The quality of the product no so much. Fixed two phone screens and two ipad screens.- First Phone: After the fix, the phone started shutting off randomly, gave it back and it turns out that they damaged the charging port while replacing the back screen. They fixed that for free. a couple of days later the screen gave me a long white screen and then went dead- Second Phone: yesterday, about 2 weeks after the fix. Same exact things as the first phone, screen defective. On this one the screen wont work- first ipad, second day the touch screen died.Talked to the owner and he said that the product he offers has no warranty. Offered to replace the ipad screen and asked me to pay for the phone screen.Bottom line, stick to apple for your service.

My second time visiting Gelatotech On-Call iPhone Repair, this time I came to fix my iPhone 7 Plus screen. I decided to go with the aftermarket screen replacement. My total came up to $102. Price is not bad, going elsewhere would have been a lot more. They told me to pick the phone back up in 45 minutes. I came back almost 2 hours later, and he said it was not done yet. I left and sat in my car (luckily we found a parking spot) for another 30 minutes before picking my phone back up. Regardless, the service done was top-notch and well worth $100.

He only has aftermarket home buttons. It wasn’tnot told to me until the second time he had repair it. He told me the motherboard in the inside and the screen would need to be fixed. He gave back my Phone UNFIXED. The Apple sign was stuck and he left it up to me to fix it by telling me to attach it to my computer or go to Apple. None of these options were available to me so I came back to him like he suggested. After fixing the problem we scheduled for 3:30 to drop it off. I asked him if I could get a $20 discount because I was short for my asthma pump. He remained unresponsive and so I told him that I could possibly get then money, then responded immediately. It took longer than expected so he rescheduled to drop my phone off at 7:30. I had to catch a flight soon so he accommodated and brought it earlier. I ended up having an asthma attack because I decided to pay for my phone instead of my asthma pump. That’s when he told me that my button was not completely fixed and that I couldn’t use it anymore. After a few hours, he started an outside conversation with me asking me if I made it to my flight, what was I going for, what was my race, possibly trying to get to know me or something… three weeks later after I came back from my flight I told him that I was very unhappy because I did not approve for the aftermarket pieces as well as it still being dysfunctional. He simply just told me that he told me so. I decided to just rule it out as a misunderstanding. I had inquiries about the inside and the outside the phone, he left my questions half answered and I had to keep asking him. He eventually tried to call me to tell me what work was done on the phone. I was not available so once I seen the message I asked him if he could tell me via email. He has been unresponsive ever since. My home button presses at random times and I have to go to somebody else to fix it now. In addition to everything he delivered he really kept miss-spelling my name during the conversation, which I find disrespectful

I just love the service. They repaired my MacBook Pro in 1/3rd of amount what Apple was asking for. The service was very quick and on time. I didn’t have to go anywhere, he came on his own and picked up my laptop and dropped it off too. He also gave me precautions to keep to avoid any damage in future. Overall - good interaction, awesome service and quick response.I would recommend this company to any person who has issues in his electronics.
