I have been going here for 2 years and this is the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic. Oscar is very friendly and honest, he does not try to take advantage of or over charge customers as many mechanics do when dealing with people, like me, who do not know a lot about cars. I would highly recommend this garage!

You may be intimated to drive into San Francisco for an oil change but this place has excellent customer service! They do get booked so call to schedule ahead of when you need it because they get booked. Had a cup of coffee next door and they were done! Great folks working here really excellent customer service! Got a group-on for an oil change and found the team here to be super customer service oriented. I was able to make an appointment over the phone and my car was done within 30-45 minutes of dropping it off. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in SF!

I pulled into town on July 2, 2012 after literally driving half way across the country. On hearing a terrible noise in my brakes, I found Schwerin Brake Service near our hotel using Google. I drove in to the shop late in the afternoon and was treated fairly, competently, and immediately. They offered to stay late to do the job, but I offered to come back the next morning, since our hotel was close by. The brakes were fixed perfectly (what better city could you be in for a brake job than San Francisco?) and the price was very fair.

I took My car in for some brake pad Replacements at 8am. When I arrived they were already working on cars. As I pulled up a very nice man approached me and asked me what brought me in. He gave me a very reasonable quote compared to other places, and said hed have it ready in a couple hours. Just to clarify, I didnt have an appointment, and by 10:30am-11 he called to let me know my car was ready to go! Oscar went above and beyond with his customer service. I totally made me feel comfortable, considering MANY shops take advantage when a woman comes in by herself. I will totally come back for any future needs in my car (wheels, service, oil changes, you name it ). Keep up the great work Guys!Thank you

I was referred to Oscar by a friend and he took my diagnostic report from Toyota and went through it and told me what had to be done, what Toyota was grossly overcharging me for and what didnt need to be done at all, but Toyota was plumping their bill at my expense. Oscar is extremely trustworthy. He wont rip you off, gets the jobs done quickly and doesnt talk down to women as many other auto repair shops will. He opened the hood of my car and showed me what needed to be replaced. I used him for my auto repairs that time years ago and have been ever since.

If you are looking to get an oil change here, read this first.This shop they only offer one type of oil, 5w30. If it does not fit your car, then I am sorry, they wont care about it. They will just pour the same oil anyways. Make sure to check your car menu to see what grade of oil your car uses. If a wrong oil is used and your car engine is damaged, it will cost thousands of $$$ to get it fixed.I brought my own oil and I requested to use it instead cuz my car takes a different grade. They used to just take it. However, this time, they just kept saying no they couldnt take it. They INSISTED on using the wrong grade of oil for my car. Right, they don’t give a F about doing the right thing for their customers.Then I had to go through a refund process with groupon with some back and forth hassle. This merchant redeemed my groupon without servicing my car, and Groupon claimed their policy did not accept refund. After more than half an hour of negotiating, finally they accepted to put money back to my credit card. What a disaster!tl;drIf your car do not use 5w30 oil, dont consider this place. Groupon refund is a disaster.

Went in on a Groupon deal to get a standard oil change done on my 2010 Mazda 3. I called in the same morning and Oscar was able to get me in before noon that day. He was able to have the car in and out in 45 mins., even though it was obvious he was quite busy (there were at least four more cars in the shop when I arrived). Friendly, professional service and a good price through Groupon too. I will be back in the future for my auto maintenance and repair needs.

My brake fluid was going bad, completely brown. I own a Acura Integra 5 speed and other places wanted to charge more than 100 bucks to a brake fluid flush. I called this place up and for 40$ and 30 minutes on a Saturday they changed my brake fluid and clutch fluid. Even put a new cap for free since my original one was broken. They didnt leave a mess and now my brakes are working fine again. Cheap and fast service. Im going to be coming back for transmission fluid next.Definitely recommend.

Employees used customers vehicles on the weekend for their own personal used... beware of this people... they even swapt vehicles parts...
