We had car trouble while on a road to San Francisco over a holiday weekend. The wonderful owner/manager of this shop was able to help us on a holiday to get our car diagnosed and fixed up. We were able to get back on the road without changing our plans and and not breaking the bank! The people here are professional and knowledgeable and had great expertise. Eddie and team were amazing! I brought my car in for a blown cylinder and they repaired in a timely manner and were very communicative throughout the process. I’ve had no issues since, runs like new! They also very thoughtfully checked in a few times after the repair to confirm that everything was running well which meant a lot. The check engine light came on in my car so I checked the code at home with my fault code reader. It was more work than I cared to take on so I dropped it by EMW since I had a good experience with the at their prior location. Eddie and team had me in and out and no more check engine light. Honest and efficient. Don’t mind the slightly rough neighborhood, once you pull up the driveway into the shop, it is a different world!

Ive been having my vehicle serviced at European Motor Works since they opened and they always get the job done in a timely manner, inform you of needed work prior to performing it and they never apply pressure to have a service performed. There have been a couple times when either Josh or Eddie stayed after closing because I was running late to pick up my vehicle. They are EXCEPTIONAL! !!!!

I hate BMW dealers and I always wanted somebody who can actually remember my car and tell me exactly what is needed rather than sell a hundred things. They have taken care of my BMW e46 M3 with the kind of love only a mother would give there child, seriously. They have also been kind enough to help me out with other vehicles. When your BMW is no longer covered under warranty, where do you go for service? European Motors Works.My BMW 650i needed its 30k mile service, and since it was no longer under warranty, I needed to find a service provider that was more economical than SF BMW. Enter European Motor Works. Josh and Eddie are fair, honest, and professional. 30k mile service, new brakes on all four wheels done in less than a day. And the car came back washed and shiny (although a run through with a vacuum would have been nice ...)--almost as good as new.Despite being squeezed between a sex shop and an auto body repair place smack in the middle of Folsom Gulch, European Motor Works is the destination if you need your BMW, Audi, or Mercedes serviced.

My 90 Bentley Turbo R had a serious problem with a broken gear (under the two distributors) connecting to the overhead camshaft.Very difficult access. Hard to reach. A true mechanic’s headache.Josh took the challenge with a smile and a fair guaranteed price; Mauricio jumped in and the three of them with Eddie, managed to save the situation. That V8 has been purring on many road trips ever since.Also just fixed quickly and well, a leak in the hydraulics of convertible top on my little roadster (Mercedes SL500).Seriously, these are talented, friendly, HONEST guys; rare in the automotive industry.
