They charge you at least 3 folds for a part. Also, they changed 3 piece of parts without your consent. Dont recommend everyone to have your cars fixed at General Auto Service on San Bruno Ave. SF
Love going to small time independent operators, but Im done with this guy, sadly. His credit card equipment is ancient and doesnt work - and hasnt for many months. Last time I was there the guy who runs the place tried several times to get the system to accept my card for a fill (instead of I want $30 worth... which triggered a fraud alert by my bank. My card was moments away from being cancelled.
My Thunderbird had lost all coolant and engine was over heating while i was driving to the airport. I pulled into their shop late afternoon and Steve and the other mechanics immediately determined that i had a leak in the coolant system and the car could not be driven. Steve assured me that they would fix my car by the time I returned 2 days later. Steve ordered parts and had the car ready when I returned. The cost was very fair and my car is running again...they even stayed open later as my flight my delayed. I highly recommend this shop to anyone as they are fair, competent and very nice.
Super quick and good service for repairing flat tyres.
I go here to fill my car up because of the prices for gas are cheaper than the neighborhood that I live in. Theres a Target with CVS pharmacy inside across the street.
Although gas prices are not the lowest, good price on chips that they sell
Quick and friendly
The boss is a good person.
