Today I visited MAZ Auto Glass, on 1880 Evans Avenue, whose Parent Company, California Auto Glass, shares the same working space. One of the reasons I chose MAZ Auto Glass is because they were one of the few companies that were open on the weekend, which in this particular case was a life saver. Unfortunately for me, my passenger side quarter window panel was broken out. When I called MAZ Auto Glass, I was initially quoted $205 (parts and labor). This was the best deal I found after doing extensive research, because other companies wanted $250.00 or more for that very small window pane. One thing that threw me for a loop was in I arrived at MAZ Auto Glass one of the two (2) employees working showed me a “used quarter panel window pane,” which was not told to me when I initially called and asked did they have the part in stock. I was very skeptical of the fact that the representatives of MAZ did not disclose that the quarter panel window was used and when I asked why I wasn’t told, the gentleman didn’t have an answer but offered to drop the price to $165.00 and clean the used quarter pane up nicely to ensure that no one could tel the difference. I agreed, partially because I was already here and because $165.00 is cheaper than everywhere else I researched. The service included parts (used quarter window pane), labor, and vacuuming all of the broken glass shards. I was also told that they accept insurance, but, paying out of pocket was cheaper than my deductible. Having everything replaced took about an hour. The environment was very calm and easy going. I asked did they want to provide the invoice before the work was started but the employee said we would complete it after. They did an EXCELLENT JOB replacing the window (see pictures). While I waited in the lobby, I was offered water and watched The Mandalorion in Disney Plus. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for their quality and speed of work!
Fast and friendly staff very efficient and reasonable prices . Will call you when Vechicle is ready if you want to grab a bite to eat in the area
130 for my 2017 Honda accord passenger window! Took 20 minutes! Do recommend!
Did a window replacement over the weekend. Super price- more than $100 cheaper than other places. Super quick work and great to deal with. Thank you!
They did a good job on my toyota corolla i really high recommended
In a word... terrible! Id give ZERO stars if possible. Maury is perfectly professional and kind when hes taking your money, but if you have any issues with the work done, he transforms into an angry, rude, and dismissive little troll... complete Jekyll & Hyde! Heres the story:My car was broken into and I needed it quickly repaired as I was heading on a road trip the next day. My dealer didnt have the glass in stock so they recommended this place to me. I inspected my door prior to going to MAZ, and there were only slight pock marks near the top of the interior door panel... no other damage. The work was done quickly and when I inspected it in the dimly lit garage, it looked fine. When I got home, I noticed a tear in the leather near the window button panel (see pic). I also noticed that the door was not seated properly. On the phone, Maury said theyd be happy to address the damage. When I returned to MAZ, thats when he became a totally different person. He became literally red in the face, said I was ignorant and didnt know what I was talking about, and that it was impossible they damaged the door because of the method of removing the door panel. Second, he insisted the door was in fact seated properly. I had to tell him to look at the other door before he got his guys to re-position it. As I watched them remove the door panel, it was clear that they likely caused the damage when removing the window button panel, as the installer pried it off with a screwdriver and probably slipped.FYI, The installers themselves were courteous, and once Maury walked away, they even admitted they may have caused it.
I am very meticulous when it comes to my cars and when I took my BMW to MAZ, I was fully satisfied. The staff was very friendly as well as professional. They took the time to share some knowledge regarding the work and overall did an amazing job. Thanks guys!
Someone broke into my car last night and stole my gym bag. I called San Francisco MAZ this morning, and they provided me with a fair quote and they had the glass I needed in stock and told me to come in. Took them 45 minutes to replace it, and it looks like new. Professional and friendly, would recommend to all.
I think they are close even though Google says business is open.
More than once they have been so helpful and professional. Sourcing my windows in a very short time and getting my car ready. Its good to know that you can count on MAZ whenever an accident happens to our car windows (like break-ins). Thanks MAZ!
The best service in Sf good price
The service was amazing! I highly recommend MAZ for its great customer service, time efficiency, and product. I arrived 45 minutes early for my appointment and they were able to take my car right away to get the windshield and radio replaced. It only took around 2 hours and it was a quarter of the price the honda dealership charged!! They apparently do work for dealerships all over the bay area.
Typically I dread going to get any work done on my car, but I had a great experience at SF Maz. My window was bashed in and i needed a new one so I drove right in and in no time at all they were working on my car. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, especially the owner. My car was fixed in no time and the rate was very fair and affordable. highly recommend you take your car here.
Never could reach anyone
Maury charged me a very fair $278 out the door for my 2003 Audi A4 Quattros brand new windshield. I last went to MAZ in 1999. 5 Star Service both times.
They were the only shop in the area that had a door glass for my car and they were able to have me in and out in an hour.
Good job car window repair.
Ive been going here since they were on 11th Street. Excellent service and good value.
Excellent. Maury is a good man who takes care of business. If I need auto glass in the future I will go back no question.
I was quoted a price over the phone twice, at the time I asked if it included everything and was told everything. I double checked, including make, model year, type of glass, talked about bonded glass and was told the glass was an OEM replacement. Got there, they tried to add $100.00 for labor, taxes would be additional, ect. They wasted my time and didnt keep their word. Am I upset? Would you be? Despite having given them business before, I can assure you I wont go back.
Great fast professional service!!
Good experience
