This is the best place to get your window fixed in San Francisco. They are affordable and fast.If your car gets broken into this place will fix it quick and the service is great. Recommend for sure.

We had our truck broken into over night and we live two hours away so we were concerned with driving back with no passenger window. We called California auto and they were very nice and told us to head over and they could do it now. When we got there they were amazing and very quick it took less than an hour and the window works perfectly. Thank you!

Had 2 windows (passenger and back) broken into on a Sunday morning. So thankful this place was open and started working on my car right away. There was so much glass inside which they vacuumed and did a really good job cleaning out. Finished in 1.5 hours and price was reasonable. Great and friendly customer service. Definitely recommend.

This is the best spot! They are fast, professional, and always give the best price available. Its unfortunate Ive had to use them like 7-9 times, but at least they have free tamales.

I was impressed with how cheap this shop is compared to others in the city I shopped around for. Both my front windows were broken into Saturday night and I was able to get them replaced Sunday morning. Fast, cheap and easy.

They were ready for me soon as I drove in after calling them about it that morning . And did an excellent job replacing my front windshield and drivers side window for the best price I was able to find anywhere else in the city . Highly recommend this place and will go back the next time I need another window replaced.

I gotta be honest, the perfect reviews for this place are not justified. Yes, I was able to go in Sunday morning and have my car back in a few hours. But the glass they used for my window has bubbles in it, the weather stripping around the window has gaps in the corner, and there is now a small dent on that door that happened during the repair. The staff is nice and the price is cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I called for my husband on a Monday afternoon. His cracked windshield had quadrupled in length over the weekend because of the cold weather. We drove it in that same day and had a new window within 40 minutes. Prices are great here. The staff and service are excellent here. Thanks, Dario and staff!

Best prices. I contacted 10 other auto glass companies here in SF and the East Bay for a new windshield. California Auto Glass beat the cheapest by nearly $20. They will be my go-to for glass, but I hope I wont need them again.

Been here 3 times each time they took care of me. Twice for auto glass once for my wifes side view mirror. Be a repeat customer and you will be taken care of. Easily the cheapest place i been to here in my city. And believe me i been everywhere else, between me and my wifes car we been broken into 15 TIMES!

Unfortunately, I have visited California Glass a number of times. And every time the price is great, and service is fast. They moved to a new location also, where they have a seating area inside. I called and they had my replacement glass for my Jeep ready.

These guys had my glass for my 89 ford truck IN STOCK ON A SUNDAY! And they were very friendly and fast.

Dont go there, they dont honor their warranty! my new windshield cracked within 2 weeks after being installed.I had a windshield replaced there, and was told extensively about their warranty: 30 days for cracks in the windshield, and a year for leaks.Not even a couple weeks after the work was done, the new windshield showed a growing crack right in the drivers view. I thought, great, good thing theres a warranty. I brought my vehicle back to the shop, the guy looked at the windshield from far away and said, its a rock that caused the crack so we wont replace it. I know it wasnt a rock, I barely drove 50 miles in town (aka at slow speeds) after the work was done, was the only one driving, and there was never a rock hitting my windshield. I told them just that but they wouldnt honor their warranty.What a huge disappointment and terrible business practice!Theyd be better off not promising it than refusing to honor it.Now I am stuck with a crack windshield and at risk of getting a ticket for it, less a nice chunk of money. I would put zero stars if I could!

FIRST: California Auto Glass is on EVANS, Google Maps directs you to the wrong location. Do not turn off Evans!! Its actual address is 1880 Evans, not the alley behind Evans.Second, Ive been using CAG for about 7 years....the people here do great work, the glass is quality, and unlike Safexxxe or other big glass places, a windshield wont cost you $450 (for most vehicles).The new location on Evans has an air conditioned waiting room/restroom/couch/cable, etc., and the prices are still low! I will continue using CAG for years to come!

My back window got bipp on a saturday evening. On a sunday, Superbowl Sunday, this place was open. They took me in mid afternoon and it was done by 5. Price and quality was rite.

What a wonderful company! They have very reasonable prices, I love that they came to my house to change my windshield, and they were great about answering the phone and setting up the appointment.

They are very friendly and its a great price.to and they give out tamales.while you wait and coffee and tea.and thats comforting after having your window broke. So I would highly recommend this place for glass repair

I called and got an estimate and came in a few minutes later and they had my window all fixed in an hour or less. I waited and sat on their picnic bench and they even brought out an umbrella for the table. Really nice people and amazing service. Hopefully I wont be back but if my window gets smashed again I will know where to go. Thank you!

Got the job done at the best price I could find after looking everywhere! Had the window in stock and got it done super quickly! Broken window after work, got it fixed before I went in the next day!

After dancing all night at a local club, I left with 2 other friends only 2 discover all 3 of our cars had the driver side windows smashed. Fortunately none of us were naive enough to have anything of value left in our cars for the thieves to take. But nonetheless there were still 3 shattered windows that now needed replacing.Each of us called around on Friday morning for repair quotes. California Auto Glass offered the lowest rate ON ALL THREE VEHICLES, by what I would call a substantial amount! First vehicle was quoted $175 elsewhere but CAG quoted only $150. Second vehicle was quoted $220 elsewhere, and only $175 at CAG. And third vehicle was quoted $190 elsewhere and CAG quoted only $160!! Amazing!!I brought vehicle #1 in about 30 mins after initial phone call (around 10am) and window was replaced and I was driving away by 11:30. They did a great job from what I can tell (its only been 6 hrs since the repair) plus they did a thorough vacuum job ensuring all the broken glass was long gone.Lucie was the receptionist that helped me both on the phone and in the office and was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Grateful for her honest and helpful nature!On a side note, I also got a quote to come back to replace my (6 Mo old) cracked windshield at CAG that was $30 cheaper than everywhere else Ive checked (in both SF and Oakland)Needless to say I will be HIGHLY recommending California Auto Glass to any and everyone in the SF area needing glass repair. My car was broken into and they were able to get me in and on the road in only a few hours. On a Sunday, no less, when practically every other auto glass shop was closed. The employees were very kind and did a great job with my car. Overall very pleased with my visit, despite the circumstances.

Had a rear door window broken into...in the rain... and these guys repaired it on the spot for less than 1/3rd of the price of Honda dealer. Looks great. Cleaned up my car nicely. Very happy.

Amazing service! Someone broke my Priuss rear passenger window last night and did a lot of research and price comparisons and these guys literally saved me $100 compared to other estimates. They also did it same day with almost no wait time and even vacuumed and cleaned up the broken glass on my car. Whats great is that there is a mexican restaurant with great food to eat while waiting for the repair. All in all very satisfied and recommend this place if your looking for great service while also not being overcharged like most places typically do.

For out-of-towners who run into glass problems, this is your place. We are from Minnesota and had our van broke into while at Golden State Park on a Sunday afternoon, after calling several auto glass places we finally talked to the man at California Auto Glass. They did not have our passenger window in stock, but offered to put plastic over the broken window. After doing so, I asked them how much I owed (Excpecting some tourist trap price) to my surprise they said it would cost me nothing. They were kind and courteous to strangers who were in a desperate situation and when offered money....refused it. They even took the time to vacuum out all the broken glass that was in our vehicle. I cant thank them enough for their help, other than write a quality review. Thank you

Great service!!! I brought in a Corolla for a windshield replacement 30 minutes prior closing. I was initially heading to another location but they refused to help me replace it even when they had 1 hour left before they close. I was heading back to downtown and then remembered California Auto Glass! I called them right away and accepted my job. Went back to the highway, traveled another 15 minutes to their location. It was hard to find because their driveway is really small.But anyways! I was quoted a very good price even with the windshield molding replaced. Quoted a bit lower than In and Out AND the quality they gave me was even better than expected!! The Mexican guy, lady and their workers are really really nice. I’m glad I gave them a try! Will definitely be calling them FIRST for any future work first! THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙌 Happy holidays!!!!
