From the time I called the owner was helpful and quickly attended to my situation and needs. I was quickly directed to a shop where a nice guy did an estimation on my car and then Lucia helped me w my rental car and all other logistics. Easy and stress free. The employees act like they care about you. Was a pleasant experience. My car was returned fixed and cleaned. I’m very happy! 😃

USAA Insurance company recommended this shop as one of their garages to write up an assessment of our automobile repairs. Although I didnt personally come in to see what they did on our write up, I did feel that their customer service on the phone was polite and friendly. They were fully versed on the updates of my car and gave me enough information over the phone. Appreciated their professionalism.

My front bumper needed to be replaced, and the whole process went very smoothly. The intake and assessment were done kindly and professionally, they arranged for the rental car company to pick me up, and the work on the car itself was just right. Absolutely no complaints, and I will certainly go back to them if I need to in the future.

They did a most excellent job. The car wasn’t ready when they said it would be and their voicemail box was full and not accepting messages, so that was a tad inconvenient. But the work was exceptional and totally worth the extra day. Lucy was really nice and knew her stuff. It’s two blocks from BART so really easy to get to when the car is ready.

I wholeheartedly recommend Fix Auto after the job they did with my Honda Accord. I popped 2 tires and cracked their respective rims and was recommended to Fix Auto by my insurance. I cannot thank my representative Josh enough for being super transparent with the timelines so that I knew what to expect every step of the way. Even though the towing company I used delivered my vehicle to the wrong shop, the entire staff communicated with the towing service to track down my vehicle and get it delivered properly. As a cherry on top, they had my back ultimately fitting me with OEM wheels and even returning my car washed, inspected, and disinfected. Their warranty is also top notch and covers the work they did for the life of the vehicle. Appreciate Fix Auto for all their great work!!

LOOK. NO. FURTHER. Professional, hugely customer service oriented, responsive, friendly and really great work. I had one large repair done here (I was hit and car wasn’t driveable) and one small one. They work seamlessly with State Farm and Hertz. You show up at the shop, Hertz picks you up to get your rental. Josh is like the 3rd generation in this family business, passionate about paint, and has an uncanny ability to see all the details of what happened to your car and how to fix it. Before Josh did the repaint of my hood as part of a repair, I was CONSTANTLY getting rock chips down to the metal. After - nothing. Not one single chip months after the repaint. When the tow company took a full week to get my car to the shop ultimately causing me to go beyond my rental car coverage, Lucia called State Farm and tried to get them to make an allowance for the tow company’s delay. When THAT didn’t work, she was able to negotiate a slight rate break with Hertz. All of which she did on her own initiative. When I did see one thing that needed to be adjusted after the big repair, I was dreading what that process might look like and expecting it to be a hassle. But When I talked to Josh, he was like, you are right, when is it convenient for you to have us adjust that? We will do whatever works for you. And both Jessie and Mark at the garage are equally expert and customer oriented. They take all the time you need to get your questions answered. If their business wasn’t bodywork, I’d love to have the opportunity to do more business with them. However, I hope I never have to!

I am SO happy with the services I received from F. Lofrano & Son on 17th St in the mission. I brought my car in after the rear right hand passenger window had been smashed. They made an effort to find a low cost replacement window and fixed the issue within 24 hrs. AND they vacuumed my entire car and washed it!! Highly recommend.

They messed up or missed something any time I have brought my car in, in regards to messing up paper work or car repairs itself but they fixed their mistakes so I guess that makes it alright, they need to pay more attention to detail, this review is from someone that has brought my car in multiple times for repairs 1 st repair had to bring it back 3 times to get it right and 2 repair they couldnt get the repair timing right and caused some issues with rental and also didnt tell me that they were gonna use used parts and I had to point out I wanted all new parts and then when I picked up car they some how charged me total repair to my card versus just deductible, again its attention to detail. I wouldnt call charging $4,000 vs $500 that small but Im trying to play on the honest mistake side for that one. I wont be bringing my car to this shop anymore more because they just make mistakes every time I have used them. 😕

My insurance company recommended I take our car to F. Lofrano to repair damage from a minor fender bender. Service was absolutely outstanding. They scheduled an evaluation by an insurance adjuster the same day I called. They handled all the paperwork for me. They gave me an appointment as soon as the replacement part was available (i.e. next day). They provided convenient transportation while the car was in the shop. And as a courtesy, they even washed my car and removed some unrelated damage to the paint on one of my doors. I couldnt say enough good things about F. Lofrano.I hope, itll be a long time until I need their services again. But when I do, theyll be the first place Ill give a call.

Wow - so someone bumped my car while it was parked. I got an estimate from a shop and they said it would be over $1,000... ouch.I was driving by this shop and dropped in. They fixed it in 5 mins free of charge. No big deal, well heat it up and pop the dent out.Incredible, will definitely take my car here for future issues (although hopefully I wont need to...)Thanks!

What a night mare, just wanted a quote. First they would not give me a quote, but took pictures. 3 weeks later after insurance approval, they said the quote would be ready that afternoon and would email quote and call. No no call, so call the next day, again it would be ready that afternoon and again no email or call, call the next day and am told computer problem. Get a call right before closing they cancelled quote, do I still want it? What a nightmare and all I wanted was a quote.

Very pleasant experience working with these guys. I didnt hurt that other drivers insurance was paying for everything.

Kien Dao was courteous and professional. The repairs appear to have been done professionally and completely. Although the repairs took longer than I had hoped, Kien explained that once the damaged fender was opened up there were further damages discovered & parts needed. I would recommend Lofrano & Son without hesitation.One caveat: Lofrano arranged for a Hertz rental while they had my car. When I picked it up, the contract they gave me said the car had 38,800 miles on it but the odometer actually read 39, 300 miles. The contract charged $.23+ per mile driven so this meant that my insurance company was charged for 500 more miles than I actually drove at that rate. If Hertz does this on all rentals paid for by insurance companies, theyre taking in a lot of money this way. I reported this to Lofrano and will report it to AAA.

We had an F250 stolen. AAA was going to pay for the repairs to the vehicle. At first glance, drivers door lock, ignition, and fuel filler line. We went to this shop and they verbally agreed to do the repairs to the above mentioned even though custom work wasnt typically typically covered. The custom work was the aftermarket flatbed with a rerouted filler line. A week later we get a call to pickup the truck, they didnt keep their word on repairing the custom fuel line even though the line was a Ford part. We had a loud verbal argument, I called AAA and they said they cover this type of custom work. The guy decided to fix the filler line. We pick up the truck a few days later supposedly fully repaired. We take it to the gas station and there we find a 1 hole in the side of the tank the hard way. Gas all over our shoes and bottom of pants. We go back there even madder than before and ready to give this guy a Texas Roadrash behind the truck he supposedly repaired, but in the interest of whats legal and whats not, we showed restraint. 2 days later, we get the truck back Fine, finally done with it. I thought about writing this review but decided against it as this may have been an anomaly. Its been a few months, Im using the F250 I park it and get coffee. Come back out and accidentally use my F150 keys to open the door of the F250. The door unlocks. They are not keyed alike.and I had to do a double take, it was so easy, I didnt think twice till I was in the vehicle holding the larger chipped key of the F150 and the F250 has a smaller key with no chip. WTF?! Im assuming they put the punched out lock back in even though they charged our insurance for a new one installed. This is the sly type of ish that is habitual, not an anomaly. I recommend finding a better place or at least going over their work with a fine toothed comb. You go here, I have two words for you, good luck.
