BUYER BEWARE!!!!We purchased a ring from Jared 4 years ago and the cost of the Ring was $10,000, it had 1.01 carats, very beautiful ring, but during the course, have fallen on hard times and we were needing to sell her ring. After speaking with a representative from Jared we were told that the only way that they would buy the ringback would be as a credit and we would have to spend twice as much in order to be credited back for that ring which I thought was a very questionable business practice. So we went and had the ring appraised and what we found out was horribly disturbing!!!we were also informed that the markup that Jared has is completely and utterly ridiculous what turned out to be a diamond set that we paid $10,000 for, was appraised for only $2,500 which was utterly shocking!! I would recommend that you go to any other jewelry store or jeweler before considering buying anything from Jared with that markup if you do the math is that over 500% I will never purchase a ring from Jared and I will do anything and everything to let people know of their horrible business practices .

My ring is absolutely perfect. Ive come in about a dozen times now with different things I needed and theyve taken care of me so well! With showing me how to check my diamond, perfecting the fit of my ring, tightening and securing my loose diamonds, and cleaning it during every visit. Love this store!

Do not waste your time with the Jared location in Mission Valley, San Diego. They are the absolute worst store. Completely inept, unwilling to assist, and forced me to take my Tag Hauer watch to another store for a refund, simply because they were too lazy to process the refund for an online purchase. I was a first time customer and have shredded the credit card they sent me. Appalling and horrible customer experience.

Amazing staff. Theyre very careful and take a lot of safety precautions due to Covid. Wonderful jewelry and selection.

This branch sold me jewelery and opened an account for me under false pretenses. When I confronted them, they said there was nothing they could do. I also had to call Jared directly to fix the mistakes they created in store. Also, every time I go in to get jewelery cleaned they take forever to process and their tablets never work.

Came in looking for a promise ring for my girlfriend and Denisse was very happy to help me find the perfect ring that wasn’t too expensive and could fit my budget. Denisse was very informative about the rings I was interested in and when I found the right one she went above and beyond to make sure I was able to take this perfect gift home!

Darius was kind an thorough, we went through a bunch of options for our upcoming wedding. Gave personal and professional attention, but was in no way pushy. Got the engraving done today, dont remember her name but this charming Bolivian woman treated me like family, very nice for a chain. These people were great all the way around.

Renee at the Carmel mountain location was the best, not pushy in the slightest bit, made looking and shopping for an engagement ring super easy. She is very knowledgeable and will recommend her and Jared to all my friends and family

The sense of pride, involvement, and professionalism shown at this location is beyond any expectation. The semi custom piece that was created there is absolutely magnificent and exceeded every possible vision.

Don’t waste your time. We bought my bands here along with their warranty plan. I love having my rings rhodium plated but taking my rings here is the biggest hassle. Every. Single. Time. I recommend going anywhere but here.

I wanted to update/upgrade my wifes engagement and wedding bands, and had a great experience at Jared, working with Sharon. Everyone in the store was super friendly and very helpful. Richard, the manager, was extremely gracious as well. Great attention to detail, to make sure everything was just right with the new bands, and really fast service. I couldnt be more pleased and my wife loves her new rings.

By far the best experience I have had at a jewelry shop. Always so helpful and welcoming l never feel pressure to purchase, just ease and assistance. I came in with a really difficult request and they by far exceeded my expectations. The manager (Richard) was very engaged, and I felt as if they really care about their customers as well. Sharon was absolutely fantastic, she was completely intuitive to my wifes taste. She found us an exceptional setting on clearance and suggested such a beautiful diamond. Our first real engagement ring for our 25th anniversary was what my wife always dreamed of and the experience was extremely enjoyable. One month later we returned to find a matching band. We knew it would be very hard to find since the ring was a clearance item, but once again Sharon found us a one-off band that matched perfectly! The in house jewelers work is also excellent and fast. I would highly recommend the Jared in Carmel mountain and Sharon for sure!

Sharon was nice respectful and had great customer service and treated us very well and I would come back because also the manager Richard was very helpful and had amazing customer service and helped us out with getting are ring and was so respectful and when we came in to the Jewelry place called Jared everyone was so welcoming and asks us if we wanted water I thought that was ever nice to offer that to me and my other half.I would Recommend this place to anybody that needed Engagement ring and or a wedding band.

From the time I walked in to the time I left was about 15 minutes. He changed the battery on both watches and fixed the band on another. The Nixon manufacturer told me it would be over $100 and it would take a couple months, never again! The entire experience was excellent. I have already recommended them to friends and family.

I bought a promise wedding ring, necklace, and some diamonds at this location not long ago. It was a surprised to me that Richard Keller was refusing to honor his word about unlimited warranty and maintenance on the items listed above. This guy forgot that he sold me those diamonds. I was planning on buying more diamonds soon to surprise my wife but after this, I wont get fooled again.

Wonderful experience overall. Renee bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my purchase In every way including pricing. I never felt pressured in fact just the opposite I felt like family after visiting the store 4-5 times. The rings I bought are beautiful. I changed my mind about one and returned it and it was such an easy process with Renee I ended up getting a different ring to replace it. After my good experiences at jared’s I’ll never be shopping at any other jewelry store but theirs. Ask for Renee!

This particular location was awesome!! Mr. Richard is an amazing store manager who was super, extra nice and helpful in picking my wife’s engagement ring. He also helped pick and accomadate my payment plans. He and his staff have become big part of our Jared experience. Dana also, helped my fiancé design her ring. This location is amazing and it’s staff people are worth visiting.

I recently brought my ring into the store after a poor experience at another location and will ONLY be coming to this location in the future. I dropped my ring off because I began to notice a major change in the color of my opal and the team was friendly and helpful. They kept in contact with me while the ring was in the shop and they tried to figure out what it was that caused the problem. After a detailed cleaning I still wasn’t too happy with it but didn’t want to be “that person” and continue to complain. I was lucky enough to be helped by their general manager Richard and he would not let me leave the store until I was 100% happy with the appearance of my ring. He ended up replacing the opal for me and was extremely friendly and understanding. I have never had such wonderful customer service.

I dont know how people keeps giving this place good reviews when they are so horrible at services and money thirsty on sales pitch. You wont get a good products here. Asian people, please stay away from this place. I have a long history from this place and will not step foot in this location ever again.

My wife and I took an outdated family heirloom to Jareds to have it custom-made into a more contemporary diamond ring. The final product was fantastic and exceeded our wildest expectations. Nancy, David and Harvey were very helpful and could not have been more gracious.

I am very sorry that we spent our money in this store. We should have first check online reviews about this company but we didnt. I dont like long stories and will make it short for you too. We were usually very pleased for a few months but after being treated so badly by this general manager Harvey Williams we will never spend any money there. I still can not believe that such person made it to be general manager.

I had an amazing experince at this location!What lead me to finalizing my decision in coming to this store was the conversation I had with Maria over the phone. She was so kind, and even told me of the upcoming sale of 15% off my purchase if I could just wait a couple more days. The previous store I went to didnt even mention a sale at all (it was the same franchise). The fact that she cared more about my overall experince, rather than a quick sale spoke volumes to me. She came up with a clever way to hold my desired purchase item until the sale started and made sure to inform all of her employees of the details of my item so that if I happened to come when she wasnt there that everyone would be on the same page. When I came in she had everything ready to go! She was very diligent in making sure I left feeling like I was taken care of! And on top of that the manager was was so awesome as well! We were able to chat a little bit and he made us feel as if we had known eachother longer than just those few minutes of meeting one another. Hes created quite the atmosphere in there. To be honest, everyone on the team makes you feel very welcomed, and theres no pressure at all for anything. They get the job done in a professional manner, but they do it in a way which is really unique. They seem like one big happy family in there, and we fit right in. The Mission Valley store changed my ring color from Rose Gold to White Gold and gave me back my ring with a smaller diamond size. I was also really frustrated with the way the manager Harvey handled the issue. As soon as I called Carmel Valley about the situation, they offered to take great care of me (which they did) and insured they would take care of the problems with my ring. They completely sympathized with my situation and made me feel like my problems mattered to them and that I was truly a valued customer! So thankful for them!!

My fiancé and I went in to look at engagement rings back in November. We met Richard the manager who was friendly and professional. My girlfriend wanted something blingy yet afforadable. Richard introduced us to Jareds white sapphire line. It looks amazing!!!!! We went back for our wedding bands and Jessica was so helpful and patient while we tried on every wedding band in the place. I highly recommend this jeweler to anyone who is looking to get engaged!

Apparently getting rings serviced is too complicated for this location. Took 30 minutes to intake the rings with proper information, and when I went to pick them up - several days after I was told they would be ready - one of the rings was scuffed and looked messy. I pointed out the problem to the staff and agreed to come back in an hour so the problem could be fixed. Got back, and ring was still not fixed. I had to leave it again, and the staff said to me, I have no idea when it will be ready. Seriously? I did mention that the rings needed to be ready for our WEDDING CEREMONY coming up, but that seemed to enter one ear and exit the other. Oh, and their sale was pushed onto me multiple times while I waited for assistance each time I entered the store. Ill take the long drive to another location to avoid using this one.

Just experienced the worst customer service at this location. I wanted to get a band resized for an engagement ring that was too big. The stone was purchased separately, but the band and extended warranty were purchased at another Jared store that also set the stone. Because the stone was moissanite (of similar hardness to a diamond), which I requested from my fiance, they would not perform the resizing due to company policy. I was asked to get the stone removed from a different jeweler, then they would resize the ring or I could purchase a different diamond or white sapphire to replace the moissanite stone in my engagement ring. This policy and complete lack of customer service is a fantastic way to ensure that no one goes to a Jared. Dont waste your time, find a local jeweler.

RIP-OFFWent to purchase a battery for my watch, 371 (SR920sw).Jared price $15 just for the battery (I didnt have the watch with me).This is a common battery often found in hearing aids.Try a google search yourself. The average price of the Sony version I was offered is about 95 cents each.
