I was referred to this GameStop to exchange a console that I had an issue with. Judy was awesome! She made the whole process easy and solved the issue no problem at all. Excellent customer support definitely deserves a raise!

Always a pleasant experience when I come to this gamestop, by far my favorite location in San Diego. The store manager Judy is always very pleasant and personable and she encourages her staff to act the same. They are good with informing you about upcoming games and products as well as recommending products to you based on what you are buying. They have their sales pitch like corporate pushes but they dont beat you with it with fake sincerity like nearly every other location. To quote spinal tap, this one goes to 11, which is why I rate it 11 out of 10.

Employees at this GameStop didn’t seem to be too well informed with their own policies.I had 2 bad experiences at this store.1. They refused to price match a switch game with their own website price. I didn’t feel like arguing with the employee, So what I did is walked out and across the street to target where they willingly price matched the game to the price on GameStop’s website. LOL shame on this store. This must be so embarrassing for them to read.2. They refused to give me the Zelda pre order freebies. The employee proudly and confidently said “ those are only for pre orders that are in-store pickups. Your pre order is shipped to home”. I asked her to check the GameStop website listing on the policies for the freebies and she then responded “ I only have enough to give out to in-store pre orders, sorry that’s what my manager has told me”.Well, I can’t really blame her, but SHAME ON THE MANAGER :)NOTE TO THE MANAGER : If you can’t withhold the promises and policies of your own franchise, I don’t see why this store should be allowed to carry the brand name. I’m seriously so disappointed with this store.I’ve had so many great experiences with other GameStop stores and employees, but somehow this store sticks out like a sore thumb…. That too not once, but twice!Something positive about this store : they seem to be well stocked with a lot of game selection.

Probably one of the most friendly places Ive ever visited. For ANY reason, EVER. The employees there are hilarious and knowledgeable! If youre ever in the area, give them a shot!

Recently bought some Pokémon cards from them and this was the first time I’ve ever gotten suspicious packs from them. I opened a couple to make sure it wasn’t a coincidence and they were all tampered with. Judy laughed hysterically at me as I returned the rest. This was minutes after I bought them.

Ive been coming here for nearly Ten years. Service has gotten significantly better over time. Judy is so nice and attentive. Makes me feel right at home. Its a small store but its really cool that they have a small retro games area.

Judy helped us to get the best deal for Pro day. Got more than bargained for! Store is cleaned and organized.

CALL....... ALWAYS tells me all associates busy but i go stand in front of the door at this location, calling, and both employees let the phone ring until the automated system hangs up!!! Must’ve called 9-10 times never got an answer while watching the phone being ignored, unprofessional and a waste of time if they are out of stock on an item but cant call beforehand to confirm

Great prices on used games, huge selection, and service with a smile.

While the selection may not be the best, that is not the fault of the store but rather proof of how great a product might be. anyhow, they were super nice on the phone when I called in and they even stayed open an extra few minutes to let me pick out my stuff which is super nice. shout out to Dylan or Dillon, for being courteous on the phone and in person

My regular gamestop. Ever since Ive come here I have always had great customer service and fairly accurate information. Once there was a miscommunication and I received a discount to apologize for it. Very friendly staff all around, great selection. There is (as of 6Aug2013) construction going on that makes the store a little hard to get to, but it doesnt detract from the atmosphere.

Ive come in here twice over the last few months. Both times I asked an employee what they thought of the Nintendo Switch. I didnt realize how explosive a question that was until the second time. In both instances, as soon as I expressed that I didnt like the low resolution of the video I got yelled at! Both times! By different employees! Like they literally raised their voice at me and kept cutting me off. They were just being excited and passionate but I felt chased out of the store both times and I never plan on going back. Managers, please, tell your employees to respect alternative opinions without getting hostile. Ive realized its probably a good idea to never ask anyone at GameStop about the Switch lol

They are informative and love gaming...especially pokemon go.... so all you pokemon players can go here and fun fun with the people working here. Its always a fun experience to go here. Cannot match all online pricing for xbox live cards, but helped me even thou I made my purchase online. I also saw a few things that I will purchase maybe next. Jeremy was super polite and nice and was professional with the customers who came in while I was there. Kudos gamestop!!

Amazing customer service, this is my favorite gamestop store. Not wanting to get too much into detail but, I had a problem and the employee was able to help me right away. It really made my day go a lot smoother. I have been here many times and I have had the manager make sure that I was taken care of right away with another issue and no matter what this gamestop makes it right, they have always been fair, and I always leave the store happy either with a new game, gift cards for my fuel (so I can rack up points on my card). I just realized how wonderful I have been treated and thought they deserve the good review for their hard work and excellent customer service.

This gamestop has friendly employees, lots of fun goods and are helpful finding store to sell dvds books.

Not the closest Gamestop to my house, but they do seem to actually care when I bring back a disc that isnt working so Ill be willing to drive the extra few miles. Ive only seen three of the staff but theyve seemed very nice and accommodating.

They gave my friend and I 18 dollars for what they will sell for 70. Not great deals, but convenient and good games.

Not my neighborhood gamestop but it is the 2nd closest and I consider it my home gamestop and the only one I go to. I understand gamestop may have some policies that people dont agree with but dont take it out on the employees. Theyre Great employees and they have always been helpful, informative and very kind to me. Love them! Thanks guys!

Worst Gamestop ever, they give out very poor information. They are very rude as to when customers has questions or wanting recommendations as to what good games are there.I walked and not even a nice hello from any of the regular employees. One of the associates there doesnt even want to try to help when I was looking around trying to find a PC gaming section and said nothing when I tried to talk to him. Another associate is very very rude, she doesnt even want to acknowledge anyone at all. A friend of mine asked her a question once she was done vacuuming and continued to walk to the back.

Just happened to be near here and stopped by to see if they had a game avaliable. unfortunately not, but the staff went out of the way to help me find the nearest copy, and printed the locations of all the areas that had them. Thanks

Guy worker with the long hair was very friendly and helped us with our questions. However, the store reeked of body odor and had two fans which blew the strong stench all through out the small store.
