WORST customer service, choose a different beauty supply establishment. If I could give Jade beauty supply 0/5 stars I would. My mother purchased a wig, they didn’t have any in stock at the store, she was told to choose one from a magazine and the owner will put in a order for pick up the next day. The owner assured my mom that it was a very good quality wig. My mother pick up the wig the next day and took it home, to her surprise the wig looked matted and the quality was horrible. We went back the next morning to return the wig. As soon as the owner saw my mother she said I don’t accept returns. The owner became nasty and rude. The receipt did not state that the item cannot be returned. We started to read the return policy poster on the counter and it did not state wigs cannot be returned . As we were reading the policy she purposely took the policy down. She also cussed at my mother. My mother left he store shaken and upset. We have never ever been treated with utter disrespect. We have been customers for a few years and she lost out business.

I don’t know much about make up. Connie was available and helped me try on some colors right away! I am sure glad she there to answer my questions. I am completely happy with my purchase and if I need anything I will definitly go back to Jade Beauty! Thank you Connie!

Love this shop!! It’s always super clean and has everything you need for beauty products. One stop shop! No need to go anywhere else or spend hours searching online. The owner knows her business well and is extremely helpful in directing the customers to the appropriate product(s) which suit their needs.

I was so pleased at the outstanding level of expertise and service at Jade Beauty today. Connie was incredible. I was interested in exploring Jane Iredale products, but unsure of which shade & primer. Connie quickly & effortlessly applied everything I needed. Nice place. Smaller selection than some places but the owner is super knowledgeable and just wants to get you the best product possible.If you know a lot about make up you might find her hands on service awkward but if you need help or are uncertain she is an amazing with colour and understanding your skincare and make up needs

This place offers me a one stop shop so I dont have to skip around town for products!! The owner and staff are so very friendly and helpful. If I cant find a product they usually introduce me to another product that I fall in love with! Every time I go in I get free samples to try which I love. When I shop here it is always a pleasurable and fun experience. They always have everything I need and more.

I love Jade beauty supply. It is the only store that I will buy my Jane Iredale products. All of Jades products are high end and the owner knows alot about each of them and can guide you to what best suits your needs. I love being in a store where I can try products before I buy and get expert advice on how to use them. Yes buying online is quick but Jades customer service is well worth the trip to the store.

Jade Beauty carries every single Jane Iredale product I need! This store has an extensive line. I have been using Jane Iredale makeup since 2003. But it’s nice to be able to shop in store for color matching. There are not too many places in San Diego where I can buy such a variety of Jane Iredale. I also love that Jade Beauty store is in a convenient location in Carmel Mountain. I have been a customer of theirs for 5 years and I recommend shopping there 🙂

Ive stopped shopping here. I had always made the effort to look past the employees following me around like I was going to steal something every time I walked in the store. But what sealed the deal was the rude owner when I tried to exchange (with my receipt) a clearly defective product. Upon opening the lipstick tube, which I routinely bought there, it was cracked looking and extremely sticky. It wouldnt even glide on my lip, just stuck to my lip. I immediately went back and the owner acted like it was my fault for buying it. I left the lipstick on the counter and walked out. I buy it online now :)

WOW, What an excellent selection of products. The owner and staff are very well educated on the latest products on the market. They will walk you around the store and help you find exactly what you are looking for. The skin care products are top of the line and the nail polish selection is huge. If you are looking to add a few products to your collection, this is your one stop shop!

Bad costumer service.I am not sure if its the owner but the asian lady was super rude, and now that i am reading other comments i can see i am not the only one that had that experience.My grandmother who is 85yrs old was tired so we saw a chair and i told her to sit and rest there. The worker came and told her in a very rude way that she was working in that area so she needed the chair, so my grandma moved away and the worker left too! We were waiting for my mom so we stayed in the store for a while and she never went back to sit there. So if She wasnt using the chair and is not a chair for sale i dont understand why she couldnt let a 85yrs old woman to sit, and there are nicer ways to do it too.So we decided not to purchase anything.Also was rude to my mom who was shopping so we decided not to buy anything we were planing to. Good costumer service is what brings people in. I am not saying the store is bad. I am saying costumer service sucks.

I went to this small beauty supply shop today to get some Pureology shampoo and conditioner. I purposefully decided to skip Ulta and give business to a smaller retailer. I had my 11 year old daughter with me. We walked in and went straight to the shampoo section to find the brand I needed. A woman, who I believed was the owner, asked if we needed assistance and I explained we were just getting shampoo and were fine and thanked her. As I was reading ingredients, my daughter moved down the shelf to look at some hair product and the lady (less than a minute later) came over and asked if we needed help again. I said thank you, no we are fine and just reading ingredients. Not even another minute went by and she was back and asked if we wanted a basket. I said sure. My daughter moved to the next aisle as Im reading and at that point the woman grabs her wireless store phone and makes a speaker phone call to ask where the gold ones are (the man on the phone was even confused) - as she had this conversation she moved to a spot directly next to my 11 year old almost touching shoulders with her.At this point I felt pretty unwelcome. It was pouring rain, so my normal response would be to just leave. Instead I bought the conditioner that was in my hand without finishing the ingredient comparison and got out of the store as fast as I could. But, before we could even finish the transaction, and as Im trying to pay, the lady scolded my daughter to stop putting lip gloss on her lips. The lady said she was putting the sample directly on her lips. I asked my daughter to drop anything she was touching and asked the woman if we could finish the purchase. After leaving, I asked my daughter if she was really putting a sampler directly on her lips. She said no and that she was looking for the qtips to put on a sample (the way I have always taught her). There were no swabs or tools to try the samples sanitarily - which simply affirmed my suspicions that this woman just wanted my 11 year old out of the store.Im sure she felt justified in her actions and was scared of theft, but all she accomplished was very poor customer service and a customer feeling completely unwelcome. Ulta will get the business mainly because of the above, but also because their prices were not at all competitive. My shampoo and conditioner is cheaper to buy from my stylist!

The girls who work here are always super helpful and suggest the best skin products to round out my skin care regimen!!!!! they always tell you how a product will work, when to use it, how much to use, etc. and know so much about skin care--I always come here for skin and hair needs.

They have a huge selection, but didnt have even one of the 5 products that I had in mind when I went there. I purchased a volumizing styling crème and returned it 2 days later, with my receipt and I had not used it, but I was refused a refund. They insisted that since the product had a little bit showing in the pump (although not anywhere near the dispenser/pumps hole, that it would not be accepted as a return by their supplier and they could not re-shelf it, basically the young girl, being directed in a hushed tone by the older female owner, was calling me a liar. Their customer service when making a purchase is like night & day compared to when youre TRYING to make a return. I will be contacting my credit card company and obtain my refund through them and Janes can deal with the charge back. I will never shop there again.

I went in today looking for hairspray. The woman was rude, could not be bothered to help me. I said Id take my business elsewhere and walked out.

I shopped here and Ill never shop at any other beauty supply again! The manager, Rothany, is very educated and knowledgable about all products. She walked me through the whole store to find what works best for me. They have an amazingly wide selection of sulfate-free shampoos and conditioner which I love to preserve my color. Not to mention Jane iredale makeup and Murad skincare-- my favorite! I love this store, definitely my new favorite one-stop shop!

I bought a brand name cologne Samsara that smells horrific. The store has “no return” policy on cosmetics, so I am out of my money. Don’t buy from them. They must be selling counterfeit perfumes.
