This shop is absolutely lovely! My mom discovered it on a vacation out here one year, and now that I live here we go visit every so often and always find something good. The jewelry is very unique and I get compliments on it when I wear it. When my mom has found a pair of earrings she likes they’ve made necklaces to match so that she has a set. I’ve also brought in beads and they’ve quickly made them into earrings. The quality is very good and everything I’ve bought has held up well. Highly recommend this shop!

I got a necklace repaired here. I wanted to go to a place that wasnt a big box chain. This place is great. I went in on Monday to get my necklace looked at, and received a call on Thursday to say it was done. The lady who fixed it, did it so it looked like itd never been broken. They took such great care of my necklace. And the pricing was so much better than Id expected. My necklace was my late dads, and this place treated me like family. I will be going back, time and time again. This will be my new go-to place for jewelry repair. Beautiful work, and super friendly workers. I can not recommend them enough.

I have been shopping at this store for 20 years when Julia first bought the shop. It started with my 11th Birthday party- fast forward to today and I have a small hobby jewelry business. Ive taken multiple classes there- the main 2 was the wire wrapping/ earrings class and the second is the birds nest class. I love that they are set up to bead and take classes!This small business feels like my 2nd home (I spend quite a bit of time beading there) My nieces who are 8 and 10 also love hanging out at this spot- its a great place to bring kids to get them doing some things hands on.If anyone could use your business during this uncertain pandemic era it is Juan and Julia and their beautiful shop.

Where do I begin!!!! This gem of a store is AMAZING! I came in feeling defeated after trying to make some bracelets at home.. Julia, the owner, stopped what she was working on, walked me through the entire bracelet-making process, and taught me how to bead properly. I was very excited to find this shop while on vacation in San Diego. The store is lovely and has many beautiful beads and crystals for jewelry making. With that being said, I left before purchasing my items as the owner was downright disrespectful. As a jewelry maker, I often purchase items from gem and bead shows but also feel that its important to support local business, which is why seek out bead stores everywhere I go. I am one who gets excited about beads and crystals and I asked the owner if there were any shows in town. Now, looking back, I can see how he might take offense to such a question and I wish I hadnt asked him. By no means did I intend to offend, but he quickly became defensive and combative. I tried to explain that I was looking for something specific that he did not carry, but it didnt matter, he continued to lecture me and argue and succeeded at making me feel like an utter jerk for merely asking him a question. I had just complimented him on his store and told him that I wish there were stores like his where I live.... and I had a tray full of items that I was excited to purchase before he cut me down for a number of minutes. I should have said something at the time but I was caught off guard and I instead left without making my purchase. I believe strongly in supporting small business but I wont spend my hard-earned money at a business that treats their customers with disrespect. Perhaps he was having a bad day-Ill never know. I ended up making quite a large purchase at Lost City Beads where the owner and staff were helpful, professional and very pleasant.

Great place. I loved the coral necklace they made for me. We brought back unique gifts for the family from this store, and they were a big hit with everyone. Can’t wait to be in the area again, so we can stop back by this store!

Love this place. The owners who are husband and wife are very helpful whenever you ask for materials or how to do any techniques. Another plus is you can even bead here! A very relaxing atmosphere. Just a great local place to support.

We love this place, I grew up making small items here every summer and now I am bringing my kids to make bracelets when we visit each year. Also better prices for small seashell/starfish souvenirs than other places nearby.
