These guys are crooks they offer stuff on offer up then you go in and they want to charge more! Wanted to charge $350 even after telling him we have been emailing and showed him his add. He was very rude about it and said well this is the price today! Shady people dont do business with these people! I would rate them negative but you cant!I like is explanation witch is a lie email was sent on the 9th thats 4 days and offer up is not a place to run sales if you have something listed for a price and dont take it off thats on you. At no point did they offer to honor price he was more interested in eating his burrito!

I have been attending Mission Hills Auctions for about 15 years, here and at their previous location. I have made some incredible purchases of everything from artwork to a motorcycle.The staff has always been helpful and courteous. I have also consigned many items for auction and have been more than pleased with the results. The items were sold quickly and at a very fair price. I would highly recommend their services.

This has been our go to place for furniture. Very reasonable prices and quality. Weve purchased new and used items and have been pleased. Theyve also delivered new items. Ive recommended this place to co-workers.

About one-half the inventory is brand new items and about one-half is ever-changing used/vintage items. Family-owned and operated so if you see something you like and are reasonable just ask if there are any promotions or package deals available. Mike is the owner. His sons also work in the business.If you are looking for affordable new furniture or great estate/vintage finds, this is a one stop shop for both. You might find 5 or 6 great pieces or nothing at all---given the estates that have come in for that particular week. And, that is the fun of visiting Mike and sons regularly.Leland

Don’t make deals with them they are a joke and money hungry i talk to mike on February about some furniture from my grandma estate and he was nice about it at first that they will pick it up and sell it and go 50/50 and they gave me a receipt mike told me it take about 6 weeks then there drive came the next day Rex Baker ( the one that made the review right under mine giving them a 5 star) he told me that they sell things fast and I should take 3 weeks so I waited until the 6 weeks mark went in since they never answer there phone and you leave messages and they never return your call and it says in the answer machine that they will return your call in 30 minutes they never do so mike told me oh we only have sold the dresser not the the others furniture but I wasn’t able to see my furniture there so I returned about 3-4 weeks and talk to one of his employees and he was that he did not know anything about my furniture or about the check that mike takes care of that so he took my name and number so mike can call me and once again mike did not call me or send my check so I return a few days later and talk to mike and I asked him what was going on why wasn’t he returning my call he did not answer and the only think he said that the furniture was sold and I should receive the check by next week. I asked him how much did he sell the furniture for and how much was the check for he said I don’t remember how much we sold the furniture for or the check For and I told him how can’t you not remember how much you sold it for or the check but you can remember how my furniture look (he Describing how the two lady look the ones that bought the dresser) and he was I sell 1000s for thing a week and it to much to remember so I told him we’re the invoice so I can see it and also I told him that I screen shot pictures of some of my furniture that he posted on OfferUp and it shows what he was selling for and he was surprise since his face change and he was oh he did not sell it that price we lower it and that he need to look for the invoice he did not have it in-front of him. A week an a half has pass and still no check I went back mike was not there and I talk to his employe and he was your check is on his way witch I still haven received it and I told them that it was Ridiculous that they can’t have my check ready that they are just lagging and they just say the check it’s on it’s way it on its way so I told them if I don’t get it next week that I would take them to small claims so do your self a favor and don’t deal with Mission Hill Auctioneer there a jokeJust sell all your thing some were else because they want everything free

Forgot to mention. . . find something you like but out of your price range? Attend the Tuesday afternoon/evening auction. Screaming hot deals can be had at any given auction. Happy Hunting.

Warning this business is a SCAM! Sold all of my household items because I had to move to another state, they were able to pick up all my items in a timely manner. I was amazed on how they were able to fit all my stuff in two trailers. Little did I know that I was going to be scammed. Had to call several times to get my check. And it was 480 dollars! I know my items weren’t worth that. I asked for an invoice and my big items like the furniture and elliptical were sold as “$0”. Decided to just leave it all to karma and not deal with this business anymore.

I have yet to use this auction site to sell but I can say I have gotten some really cool antiques here at great prices. I wish they had more quality smalls. If they did Id be there every week!

As I was dreading the task at hand, Mission Hills Auction Company was an absolute pleasant surprise, even yes, a breath of fresh air in this age of pathetic service and lack of follow thru. They explained the entire process in detail so there would be no surprises along the way. Their crew arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. Recently sold my house and had Mission Hills Auctioneers picked up my household furniture and goods, from the beginning they were honest in what my furniture would sell for, they quick and professional handling the removal of the items. After everything was sold I received a payment. Im very pleased with their services, the entire process was easy and plainles. Definitely using their services again.

Extremely cheap but good products, they even delivered and set up the furniture in my house and took the all the trash and boxes with them! Overall great experience and nice people!

Probably the most shady, unethical auction company Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Dropped off a record player to be auctioned three months ago and still no payment. Made several phone calls checking on the status, to which they claimed that my address was incorrect and the check was returned. If that was the case, why wouldnt they contact me for the correct address?!! Called them again and they said that they would call the next day to get my address and send the payment. Still havent heard from them and still no payment. Mission Hills Auctioneers obviously could care less about integrity or reputation, which is crucial to current and future success. Stay far, far away!

This place is definitely a scam. Im going to see if Turko will investigate their business tactics. I took in hundreds of dollars to them for sale during a horrible time in my life, my mothers household furniture, these people are telling me, they sold my mothers couch and loveseat for $25!!! And they took half of that! This furniture was in excellent condition, I was offered $400 for the couch alone they gave me $12 for both! I had to call several times to get the money. They lied and said they sent the check, I had to call back several times to get the check which was $87 for a living room and dining set in top condition. I am so upset, so angry because they caught me when I was grieving and cheated me and I see this is a normal practice. They cheat everyone. Do not use this place you will not be satisfied. I wish I could give no stars! The world we live in, liers, hustlers, cheats and dishonest businesses.

Theu picked up All our furniture from our hair salon worth at least $4.000 To $5.000. Never called us. When I finally got ahold of them. They said they sold Everything for $950.00. And that they take the 1st $1.000. And that I owed them $150.00 for picking up furniture. We paid $40.000 new. It was in Exellent condition. These people are Striaght up Professional Thieves. Very Unethical. Dont now how they can sleep at night treating people as they do. They gave me nothing for Everything they took.

BEWARE!!!!! USE A DIFFERENT AUCTIONEER!!!!!!!!! I dropped off thousands of dollars worth of auction items back in June of 2015. It is now December of 2015, and I still have not been paid. Back in June when I dropped off the items I was told I could expect my check in a couple of weeks and that it would come with a detailed list comprising each item and and the price it sold for.I have literally made a dozen calls over the last six months to Mission Hills Auctioneers. Some were phone messages which were never returned. On the other calls I spoke with Nicole who provided an array of excuses over the months as to why I had yet to see my money (e.g. items not all sold but will be next week, check is in the mail, check got lost, put stop payment on check but am resending via overnight express delivery). Nicole kept reassuring me that the situation was now being taken care of and she would call me if there were any issues. I called again today, since I never did receive that overnight express mail package with my check with I was promised. The owner was a total as*h*le!!!!! He says my check has been mailed (via regular USPO mail), but he absolutely refused to tell me the amount of the check. He said I could be anyone claiming to be myself. I have my fingers crossed hoping I will actually get my check this time. Although, after speaking with the owner today, I am seriously concerned that even if I get the check, they may cheat me anyway. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE PEOPLE HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!!

I originally came across this place from an ad on criagslist they posted. I had a whole housefull of furniture I needed to sell when I downsized to a small apartment here in San Diego. They were able to come out and take a look at it the same day I called, and made a deal to pick it up later that same week! They even sold all of my kitchenware and all other misc items for me! They were very professional,upfront, and helpful with everything through the whole process! Definitely would reccomend this service to anyone who does not want to deal with selling thier things on thier own!
