I showed up so late like an hour and a half before they were about to close, but they were still able to have some brakes and rotors delivered that they needed to get my work done which took 30 minutes and were done 5 minutes before closing time. Nice ppl but my vehicle has been there since July 30th, Im still waiting to get it back I might change my review once I do but as of now this is too long of wait.

They figured out an issue that only happens occasionally and fixed it quickly and it was incredibly affordable.

Do not trust this place. We took our truck here to get a quote and diagnostic and they completely lied to us. They said our transmission fluid was dirty and the filter was old and needed replaced. WE JUST REPLACED THE FILTER AND FLUID THE DAY BEFORE WE TOOK IT IN. They will tell you anything to get you to pay them, the guy was even saying how they were slow and needed work. Be cautious.

Mike and the mechanics at the San Bernardino AAMCO are honest, knowledgeable professionals. Spoke with Mike and explained my cars issues, he said drop it off and hed call with an estimate for necessary repairs. Mike is a man of his word; after running a diagnostic he called to let me know what the mechanic found and estimated cost. When the car took longer than a day to repair Mike was empathetic and reduced my total bill more than the the discount coupon of 10% to help with the costs of the rental we had gotten while my car was in the shop for 2 days. Mike even generously apologized that he couldnt get the car to overheat to diagnose the cause.When I returned the next business day because a few warning lights came on Mike didnt hesitate to diagnose the issue; blown fuses. The fuses were replaced without reproach or charge. I highly recommend this AAMCO for complete auto care.

Brought my volkswagen in for its first transmission service about 8 months ago. It was a couple hundred cheaper than taking it to the dealer. I parked it in the front, went into the office and took care of the paperwork and left on foot for a few hours. They were supposed to call me when it was done but after 3 hours I came back and saw my car was parked in the same spot I had left it. The guy at the counter said they were finished. I had a suspicion they didnt do anything to it but I feel that way about most shops but aamco is supposed to be reputable. I got into my car and my seat was still adjusted to me. Im 56 and ordinarily whenever I take my car in for service the seat is always adjusted for taller people. Again, I was suspicious but this is supposed to be a trusted place.Recently I took my car in because my transmission was slipping. The technician said my fluid was extremely worn. He thought it was my first service. I told him I had gotten one at 50k miles and he more or less told me that it wasnt possible for the fluid to be so worn, given the relatively good condition of my transmission. You can draw your own conclusions.

I had the transmission in my Blazer rebuilt here. It is a 4x4 and it didnt even drive when I dropped it off. They told me it could take a week but it only took 4 days. Anyway, it drives better now then it has in awhile. Thanks guys!

This place has bad customer service every time we go in Mike the guy in the front is sleeping, we took our car to check a water leak that got worse after they did an oil change, it took them 2 days to check it, we had to keep calling to get an update because they didnt even call us, then tried to charge us almost 500 to fix it so we decided not to get it fixed when we picked up the car they didnt even say anything just left the keys in the car and walked away..

JJ is an outstanding Service Manager! He kept me well informed about my Corvettes repair progress. Gerry is an outstanding mechanic who replaced the clutch, the flywheel, the bearings and a rear main oil seal. He told me about several problems that I didnt know about on my car. He repaired them. The oil seal that was leaking would have ruined my new clutch. I didnt know they offered a Senior Discount, a Military Discount and other discounts. That saved me 10% on my total bill! I shopped around before I chose this Aamco in San Bernardino to work on my Corvette and Im glad I did! They did the repairs faster than I expected. Ill be one of their repeat customers!! Thanks! OmG! Was told by Mike on Friday to come Monday morning. Monday morning I arrive 90 minutes early to cool engine. At 8 am J.J. says Mikes Father had a seizure. 1. Does Mike want the world to know his personal business. 2. Why is J.J. incompetent. In the event that someone is absent. That business should still be able to function....so guess what Meinke took me right away. Stupid Aamco

Honest and fair price. The other shop told us we needed a new transmission in our 04 Explorer. Mikes guys diagnosed a minor electrical problem. They fixed it for about 10% of what the other show was going to charge us. It is worth taking your car to a true transmission proffesional, not just a shop that wants to sell you a new transmission.In September, my car broke down in Rialto. Met the new manager David. Very nice and honest. Got me back on the road the same day at less than I thought.

Well i went there today and had an 88 chevy silverado transmission flushed. The service there is great. i saved 80 dollars going to them rather than jiffy lube.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED – CRAPPY WORK DONE – RIPPED OFF – MESSED UP A/C!!!! We took our car to the AAMCO on Waterman in San Bernardino and met with Andre, the Manager there. We thought we needed to have the transmission checked out because it sounded like the car was having trouble switching gears. So after the initial diagnostic check they conclude that the transmission needs work done; however, they only flushed the transmission and did a few other minor things to it and we paid a whopping $750, but car still had the exact same issue. Only to find out later, from another auto shop that it was all “gravy” work and AAMCO overcharged for it, and what actually needed to be repaired were the wheel bearings!! Then, to make matters worse, they also worked on the air conditioning because it was making a popping sound and the air was not coming out cold, and they really “mickey moused” it and screwed it up!! The mechanics at AAMCO couldn’t figure out how to fix it, so they tampered with the sensors, flushed the system, cut some wires, and did something to the fan so that – WAIT FOR IT – the car would only run if the A/C was on at all times!! We found this out the hard way, when after only two days of finally getting our car back from AAMCO, the car overheated and the anti-freeze spilled out and car had to be towed back to AAMCO only for them to deny shoddy workmanship and then to charge me another diagnostic fee after having paid $950 for the A/C!! They totally denied they were responsible for the problem!! So, they once again inspect the vehicle, tell wife one thing, tell husband something different, and want another $700+ to work on air conditioning again!!! We immediately had car removed from the premises and took it elsewhere. We have spent a small fortune at AAMCO for Nothing But GRIEF!! The second shop we took the car to not only fixed the wheel bearings, but also had to fix AAMCO’s mistakes on the A/C and so, guess what? We had to pay out even more money to get things done right. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER TAKING YOUR CAR TO AAMCO!!! I am not the only person who has posted a COMPLAINT about AAMCO in San Bernardino on several business review sites and I wish I would have read them before I took my car there.

This aamco wouldnt check my trouble codes like they advertise and the manager said that they didnt have that type of services so i would have to leave my car overnight and it would be over 100$ charge. Needless to say I wouldnt recommend anyone here the one in Redlands has much better service

Nothing about our experience with aamco in San Bernardino on waterman was not good at all they are definitely the worst place we had ever in our lives . the manager is sooo bad, he will singlehanded run the business to close. He knows nothing about customer service. He is rude and has no knowledge of what he is doing. Please believe me you will. Be sorry if you ever give them a change. BEWARE!!!!! DONT THROW AWAY YOUR HARD EARNED CASH!!!!Took my car to s.b. aamco to check the a/c for Freon leaks because the a/c went out. took it to them on a Tuesday around 130 pm they took the car and told me that they might get to it the same day. they then called around 445 pm to tell me they would get to it first thing the following morningWednesday which I thought was cool. the next day.. no word so I called the shop around 300pm the lady said they hadnt got to it yet. which i thought to myself this is taking too long. I just needed a diagnostic at that point. this is my wifes vehicle and she needs the vehicle to take the kids to and from school, but i gave them the benefit of the doubt.Thursday same thing no word from aamco so my wife called them and now they say that they found the leaks but cannot find replacement parts specifically the seals and orifice tube a little screen the size and shape of your pinky.Friday i call them because their office person Nicole cadel would only call my wife for approval of the work to be done, tell her one thing and tell me another. so she then tells me they havent began the work yet after 2 and a half days but theyll get it done Saturday and we would be able to pick it up then. Guess what saturday comes and no call i call them and they tell me to car will be done i a couple hrs. i pick up the car and the a/c works for 1 day if that i call her Monday morning to let her know that the a/c had gone out and i would be bringing the car back.I bring the car in and they keep it another 2 days and tell me that now the compressor to the a/c had blown a seal. and they would fix it for another 400 dollars after i already spent 486 dollars for them to supposedly find all the leaks in the a/c system. i told her i would not pay that because i specifically brought the car to them to find the leaks in the a/c. i told her that i thought 4hrs of labor to change 8 o rings and flush and fill the a/c system with Freon was excessive and that i would obviously pay for the compressor part but no more on the labor. Ive since taken the vehicle to 3 different a/c shops including another aamco for an estimate on changing all the seals orifice tube and to charge the system all three shops estimates were under 250 dollars.Nicole Cadel you are a liar and a shameless twirp pawning yourself off as a automotive professional. you should learn your job and learn to do it well. they charged me 4hrs labor at 98 dollars an hr plus parts. 4hrs over 4 days to change 8 o rings and a tube that slides right into place, 4 business days and 32 hrs to change 8 0 rings. whats that 4 a day. this aamco location is a joke none of the techs are ever in a hurry to do anything. i drive by this place on the way home everyday and when i look at the techs in the garage there is one guy kinda working and 2 or 3 guys just bull****ting. things take time i know but all the seals are at the top of the motor and easily accessible. this location will over charge you and wont stand by their word or workmanship. avoid these con artists at all cost. other than that theyre ok...lol..

Thanks guys. Saved me a bunch of money when my car broke down in Loma Linda. Thought for sure it was the transmission, and it only ended up being a $150 repair. My Camry is running like a top again.

Those peoples was acting nice to take my $ 2,500 to do my transmission one month later the tale of the transmission was leaking oil I took it back and I live in for inspection they say this is not oil this is cooling and they want $ 500 I am Comercial driver I know the difference the oil /cooling I told then and they get mad I say dont do anything to my truck I going to send my sister to pick up my truck because I was on the trip those guys break one of the cooling fittings I call to make the complaint to the aamco Corporation and they dont believe me do you not go to the place

I think they are over chargin they want to charge 90 dollars just to take a look.
