Very bad service,waited forb30 minutes before loader came out to my truck,I called front office to tell them there wasnt a tractor within 10 minutes after 30 minutes I was driving back to the office to get a refund, when finally someone showed up

I just wish this place would be considerate with their compost.. Im sure they can sell compost that doesnt smell so bad. I live in a subdivision on the opposite side of I-10 and we all can still smell it. sometimes its so bad I can even smell it inside from inside my home with the windows and doors shut.

Came on a Saturday didn’t even bother to check their hours before coming since it’s so close to the house didn’t realize they were closed until they notified by husband. The man who helped us went out of his way to get us loaded up since it was a order placed in advance. Would definitely recommend great and fast service!

Horrible customer service over the phone. Everytime I call to get estimates for delivery of compost they seem to have an attitude to provide me with that information. Basically telling me to do the math instead of giving me a total amount for the quote.

When I see 10% discount for Military and First Responders I assume it is for everything offered unless specified on the sign or website. Well, thats not the case, I know 10% is not much but it is nice and definitely appreciated. That is not the reason for the 1 star though. The reason for the 1 star is the attitude I received from the lady at the front the last 2 times I have gone. Dont think I will be going back.

Red mulch is good for landscaping

One stop shop. I can bring and drop off brush from one job and pick up materials for another. Staff is friendly as can be, knowledgeable, and more than willing to lend a hand where they can. You can’t beat the price, product quality, and your gardens/ turf will love you for using New Earth products. My only suggestion would be to open at 7.

They dont care how BAD their product stinks up the neighborhoods across the street from them. They say they do, and buy off the HOA leadership with free mulch, but for an entire week last week the smell was so bad that we couldnt enjoy our own yard. They need to do more to work with and for their neighbors or move their operation to a place they wont offend so many people and devalue so many other properties. (and just in case they try to blame the landfill, I know the difference in the odors. Ive only smelled the landfill twice in 2 years... and New Earth about 50% of the time)

Great place, amazed by what can be done thru recycling and composting. And let me not forget such knowledgeable staff. Great friendly ladies always ready to help.

New Earth has the best compost, mulch, soil, really all of their landscaping material are high quality. I just added a garden at home and used their Garden Soil. I also bought their compost to put in my front yard. A friend recommended them and it is all he said it would be. Great prices too!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, the service was great, Ill comment again after I receive the soil I ordered tomorrow. I received the soil this morning, it was delivered when they said it would be, they called ahead and delivered on time. The delivery driver was great, overall a great experience I will use them again.

I buy garden soil by the yard here- just enough to fill up my pick-up bed! Great results in my garden! Never needs any fertilizer for a bumper crop. Wish they sold by the half yard.

Top notch service. After using new earth mulch and garden soil for various projects over a few years I had always been impressed with the quality and consistency as well as their commitment to clean sustainable practice. I recently found some scraps of plastic in a load of garden soil and called to let New Earth know. Mark Manny called me back within two hours and was genuinely apologetic and concerned about the issue. He asked for pictures (which I sent) of the foreign objects in the soil so as to inform the production team and correct the problem. He then offered to make it up to me for the mishap. With this kind of customer care and commitment to quality, I will be a customer for life.

Great place to buy mulch and top sole.

Because I can get all of my gardening soil needs in one place for dirt cheap. Pun intended. I have a truck but I bring 5 gallon buckets to fill up with, garden soil, potting soil, aged manure compost, and 4 or more different kinds of mulch. This place is almost a weekend ritual for me. And the best part, the most expensive item is about 1.10 for a bucket. You cannot beat that. And a 10 pound bag is about 1.5 - 2 buckets, do the math on that. They ladies in the office are awful sweet everytime I go in there and the gentleman in the back hoes are very helpful to me when I need assistance, though with buckets it is not guaranteed, generally its self service for buckets. Highly recommend for any gardener in the converse, UC, or surrounding area

They are the best for great planting soil no more small bags of planting soil. Be prepared with a truck and dust but what to expect at a dirt and gravel yard.

The smell that comes from this place is horrible. Makes the surrounding area stink.Update: it has gotten way better than it used to be due to the complaints and their procedures.Theyve also donated kiddie mulch to the neighborhood playground.
