Out of the floods of companies Ive reached out to trying to get a quote Hernan is the first and only to call me back! It comes at no surprise that he is booked out beyond the window of what Im needing to sell my house but I really wish I was sticking around locally so I could support his business and integrity that he upholds. Even when he knew he wouldnt be able to help me he still took the time out of his day to call, give me advice, and also warn me about the scams that are out there currently taking advantage of the crazy demand. Five stars ALL DAY for going above and beyond.

Hernan was recommended to me by a neighbor, and I am glad I went with him and his company for my new home sprinkler installation. He was extremely responsive and helpful with answering all of my questions throughout the process. The materials he uses are high quality durable materials and his crew was very professional and cleaned up after they were done every day. At the end of the process, Hernan made sure I completely understood the system and its functionalities, and he even gave me some recommendations on my tree maintenance. I have and will recommend him to others who need residential landscaping/irrigation.

Im a DIY guy and Ive used Lawn Works to provide and deliver products including sod (zoysia), topsoil, and compost. Hernan is always happy to chat with me on the phone to ensure Im getting the right product, applying at the right times, and in the right way for my needs. The products they acquire are always high quality and meet or exceed my expected results. Whats more they arrive when promised so I can get to work as planned (you know when you invite all your friends over for beer and sod shows up just on time). The labor lawn works team performed to reroute and add additional heads was professional and neat.I was offended by the owners smugness when asking questions about the type of sprinkler heads used and the scope of the work. During the negotiation I wanted to demonstrate the coverage of the irrigation zone so he would notice an additional head was needed. He told me it was not necessary he knew what was needed.The result is a bald spot not receiving water. Had he not been so smug and more customer focused he would have seen this.Your customers are your lifeblood, get off your high horse and listen!

Hernan did a all around good job! He knew when he could have the job done and how long it would take him. The irrigation system functions great. The only thing I am not happy with, is with the sod because it is growing very thin and not the same as my front yard. I called Hernan and he advised it needs to be watered more. I hope it works out because it doesnt seem to be the right sod I wanted.

I feel like I found one of the few honest contractors in San Antonio! If you have built a house or remodeled you know what I am talking about. Hernan and his crew are truly in a class by themselves. I found Hernan ( owner of Lawn Works Landscaping) on google search within my area. I saw that he had very good reviews. I decided to contact him to do some work for us at our home. I dont really post at all or leave reviews for companies but thought I would respond to a undeserving review that was recently left for Lawn Works Landscaping. I have contracted with Hernan for my current landscaping and irrigation project (Patio, sprinkler and new sod). He came to me highly recommended by my Real Estate Agent. I am glad I was able to work with Hernan as he has done everything we have asked of him. He has been very patient with us, Polite and very knowledgeable in this industry. Several of our neighbors have used him since and have had great experiences. Not sure if they use Google or another avenue to post reviews if they do. Nevertheless, I can tell you that anyone will be more than satisfied to work with Hernan and Lawn Works Landscaping. They are licensed and insured but most of all good people. Hernan is rude, he hung up on me because I didn’t want to provide last name before he could confirm a date or time to provide estimate. Poor customer service from the start!
