I have bought 2 queen size mattresses and box springs from this location. I was treated with respect and was able to get through the process quickly!! Sebastian was absolutely AWESOME!! Geoff and his team are truly outstanding! I cant stress how knowledgeable, courteous and professional they are from start to finish. Geoff listened thoroughly to our needs and educated us on the various mattress options he has to offer. We left mind blown! There was no pressure to buy, we took time to test out several mattresses over the course of multiple visits before deciding on the one. My only regret is not visiting the store sooner. If you wanted to know everything there is to know about Latex mattresses and more, Geoff at OptiRest is the place to go. I had read online that he really wants his customers to learn and ask questions, and no joke, he is an encyclopedia on every layer that goes into a mattress.We had stopped in on a weekday afternoon thinking of just looking, but our visit lasted 2 hours of testing different mattresses, learning from Geoff, and really getting a feel of the beds. He was very accommodating and allowed us to lay on each bed for as long as we wanted. This place came recommended by a friend (I had many recommendations) but the success they had convinced me to give this place a visit. They carried what I was looking for, latex mattress, which most places dont sell. We were greeted with not only a smile but knowledge! I was a bit surprised to see nothing less than five star reviews, but, after going here (especially after having just endured a standard sales pitch at a nearby Mattress Firm), I discovered that every one of these five stars is absolutely warranted. This place is incredible and the staff incredibly knowledgeable. I was helped by Geoff and his expertise is off the charts. I am an information guy and ate up his extensive knowledge about mattresses and the science behind them, especially as it relates to the human body and unique aspects of the individual person. He was very courteous and did not push me beyond my stated budged, nor did he hover as I debated and tried a couple of mattresses. My main dealings were with him, but the others were great too, both from the sale and the assistance with tying down the mattress to my vehicle for transport. All around, a fantastic experience. The purchase process was completely pressure-free and they were very accommodating as I visited a few times so that I could compare their mattresses back to back with their competitors. I was able to find a mattress that was as nice as any of the other ones on the market for much less money, plus it was manufactured in the USA.The delivery was also handled very well. They had good time frames for shipping. They set up the new mattress and moved my old one to another room without any hassle.Over the first couple months, my mattress developed a defect where it started to collapse a bit. After calling OptiRest, the sent their delivery crew out with a replacement the very same day.Overall, OptiRest has been great throughout the whole process from start to finish.

Geoff was very informative. If you do not end up buying at this location, you will leave with a better knowledge of what you are looking for/what you need. Refreshing to not have to deal with a high pressure sales man.Update: 5 years later and the mattress we bought is still great, now in a guest room. We also had purchased a latex topper from them. The topper has been one of the best investments ever. Weve used it in the back of a truck as we did a cross country camping trip, we kept it with us when all our other stuff was with movers and taken across the country. Bought a plush innerspring queen mattress from OptiRest a month ago and the bed has been amazing so far. The customer service was excellent and Geoff was very knowledgeable and explained a bunch of stuff about the differences between beds that I hadnt realized. I definitely recommend OptiRest if youre unsure about what mattress to choose and the price was much lower than I expected.

Geoff and the entire staff were very passionate to make sure that my 84 year old mother selected the right adjustable base and mattress. And the results are great as mom is sleeping better than she has in 20+ years! We will refer friends and clients as getting good sleep is a must.

Hands down, best mattress store experience I have ever had. Normally when you try to buy a mattress, youre lucky if one person in the store has any clue which direction to lead you in. Not here! The owner, Geoff, persionally helped my husband and I pick out the perfect mattress, based on price point and need. Im a (currently very pregnant) side sleeper, and hes a back sleeper, but Geoff was super knowledgeable and asked us to try out 3 or 4 mattress to find the perfect fit. Great customer service! I purchased a mattress that didn’t meet my needs and when I told Jeff, he quickly arranged an exchange no questions asked. I got a different mattress and am much more comfortable now. Any large mattress company would’ve made the return such a hassle and nearly impossible. Jeff made it such a quick and simple process. The service received was second to none compared to all of the other stores I have been in before. The owner was working and she was incredible. Provided honest information on each of the mattress we tried with real world expectations (not the normal pitch you get from sales people). They were incredibly competitive on the price for the ones we seriously considered and friendly through the whole process. If you are tired of the normal mattress store pressure give this place a chance and you will not be disappointed.

I went here about a month ago based on a recommendation from an aquantice. I was not looking forward to mattress shopping; I have never actually had a mattress that I liked and usually wake up feeling like I have been beaten up.When I walked in I was bracing for the usual sales pitches and pressure. But to my surprise, there was no pressure at all. We were educated on the different mattresses and what we could expect out of each of them. We were given time to think and decide and any questions that we had were answered.Plus, the prices are beyond unbearable! I looked up the mattress that I bought online just to see how much of a price difference there was... it was literally $1,000 CHEAPER to buy it from OptiRest Mattress than from the manufacturer! I just cant rave enough about the level of service provided!Not to mention, I have been sleeping on my new mattress and pillows for a couple weeks now and I feel like a new person! Such a wonderful experience! I bought my mattress a few months ago, and I love it! When we first went in Geoff was so nice and patient and very knowledgeable on all the mattresses.He never pressured us into buying the most expensive, but instead gave us time to try out the different mattresses to see which one felt more comfortable to us. It also helped that he set up a payment plan for us that was easy for us to do. He also did an AMAZING job and strapping the mattress onto our vehicle. We went home on the highway and it never moved once. Every single review is the exact same experience I received and I will only be referring to OptiRest from now on!!!

My Husband and I were in search of a natural latex mattress, we researched online and saw that that type of mattress had great reviews. We wanted to test it out and found OptiRest online. Based on the reviews we decided to go check it out. We called ahead with the price range we had in mind and the owner Geoff was respectful to our price range and was very knowledgeable. He was very professional and customer oriented, I am a local business owner and customer service is extremely important to me... We actually learned a few things about how the latex mattress bliss was made and we were so impressed that we purchased that day. Another cool thing is that the delivery time was very precise, he asked if we were okay with it being delivered on Saturday between 11 & 12p. Couldnt get better than that, I hate waiting all day for deliveries so that was great to hear! I had a very good experience purchasing 2 mattresses from this store. We ended up getting a great queen sized bed for my daughter as well as a latex bed for my wife and I. Geoff, the owner, was very helpful and did not do high pressure sales tactics. He gave us the pros and cons about the mattress. We are very happy with both purchases and the prices were good. The mattresses were delivered when they were meant to be. We had one problem with a base being the standard size instead of the compact one we wanted. Geoff fixed the problem the same day at not extra charge and no argument.

I had been trying to figure out how to raise my latex mattress to a higher position. I had converted my waterbed so I needed a California King and my back was giving problems getting in and out of bed. It was way too low. All the other places charged twice as much for a foundation that I needed. When I called Geoff he was so knowlegdable and after I answered a few questions he knew what I needed. I am so happy with this foundation. Just the right fit and height. It will probably out last me...so strong and sturdy. I havent seen one like this before, and at a great price. I was going to buy another matress somewhere else but Geoff mentioned I probably got a bad one the first time and will change it. Ill definitely update on the mattess once we get it.First review:The one star is for the matress. We bought a memory foam matress with an adjustable base. The matress sinks in horribly, my body lays in a u shape. There is no support on my back at all and it hurts. Ill be sleeping on the floor for a few days while we buy another mattress.Customer service was great though.

I was really nervous yet excited to investigate latex based on my sister’s recommendation. Goeff had shipped her queen Pure Latex Bliss mattress to Slidell, LA.Goeff told us all about latex, including its supportive features and durable quality (15-20 years!). I thought of him as my “personal therapist” as we worked through which latex mattresses to try. He listened patiently as I explained my neck and scoliosis issues. I discovered he actually specializes in helping people with special issues find just the right bed at their price point.  FYI if you have a doctor’s/chiropractors prescription, then you can save sales tax too.After multiple visits and reading reviews, we finally bought a “Nutrition” Pure Talalay Bliss latex king (2 twin XLs) with Leggett and Platt S-Cape adjustable bases. Love it!! Excellent prices too!!FYI, in all of San Antonio and New Braunfels, OptiRest Mattress is the only designated “preferred location” for Pure Latex Bliss mattresses due to his vast selection of mattresses and toppers.

I meant to submit this review much earlier! We had an excellent experience purchasing a new latex mattress at Optirest. The stellar reviews here are correct. Geoff was extremely helpful and knowledgable, and his price was much less than the closest competitor in Austin. He really took care of us and honored a verbal deal on the latex pillows at a later date as well. He even was personally there at delivery. Weve had the mattress for about 6 months, and I can really say, if you are considering a Pure Latex Bliss (100% natural Talalay) mattress... do not delay. We also got a pillow top with it. I have sciatica pain and a previous lumbar diskectemy surgery, and this mattress has been such a relief. The first several times I laid down on it, I felt almost a tingling in a good way, as if my back was finally getting the relief it needed to heal.. Its hard now leaving home in a way, I know no matter how great the hotel.. its not going to be as good as home. Thanks!!
