I placed my order online and upon arriving, I observed all items online are priced $1 higher than they are in store. Also, I ordered the beef sambousa and wasnt advised until my arrival al that they were out of beef. Additionally, when checking the order, I had ranch dressing instead of the balsamic I ordered. When I inquired, I was told they where out if balsamic vinegarette and was offered raspberry vinegarette instead. My issue the lack of communication. Also, there was mystery grit on the outside of my salad container. I didnt bother addressing it due to my thorough disappointment. Small details make the big picture. I dont think I will be ordering from this establishment in the future.

I have been a dedicated customer due to the quality of the meats and poultry here. The blood is thoroughly drained in their ground beef products and they even offer lean and extra lean options. Additionally, fresh lamb and steak cuts are always present along with options for organs like tongue and braaains!All the meats and poultry is 100% Zabiha & Halal and comes from animals that are pasture raised and grass-fed. Important things!For students and people with little time to cook or learn to cook, they have many fantastic ready-to-bake marinaded options -- just fire up a stove or oven and the food is ready.Lastly, the highlight of the place, IMO, is the built-in restaurant that serves AMAZING food. I personally love the Iraqi kabobs. The Turkish kabobs are are must have, and I usually get a pound of either or both.

If you go for mix cut goat in this shop you will end up with disappointment because in a lb of meat 1/2 lb of bone 1/4 lb of hard meat that you can’t chew or eat, 1/4 lb may be good. better buy full leg or shoulder it’s good . rest are junk waste of time and money….

If you are looking for Authentic Moroccan Sandwiches, this is your place. These sandwiches are so delicious. I drive all the way from Austin to San Antonio just to grab it on the weekends. I tried the sausage links, Lamb Kabab, Beef Kabab and its all delicious. They also have great customer service and super friendly! I only go there once a month, and I cant wait to go back again! Oh! Delicious Halal Pizza and Wings, I was definitely looking for alternative pizza shop in San Antonio apart from Naara cafe for Pizza and guess Al Madina turns out to be a better option. We have become a big fan of there pizza and buffalo wings. The quantity of meat been used in there pizza amazing. I would really appreciate if they update there price list on website rather than feeling cheated when about to pay at the register.

Literally just finished their chicken kebab plate with rice and taziki sauce. I had to get on google and immediately give them a 5 star. They serve food that they cook to order. Their plate was really good. This is authentic middle eastern food, just like my moms cooking. Dont expect your plate to be cooked quickly if youre in a hurry. The cashier was sincere and provided great customer service, as did the rest of the staff. I think they also have gyros. Ill try that next time Im here.Thank you for the great food.

Great place to buy fresh meats at great prices! I recommend the lamb and their steaks. Their lunches and to go food are also amazing. Any of the kebabs with rice can feed, at least two people!

All cuts of meat looked great.Food 4.5 stars Best thing here you can see you food being cooked. They have 2 tables out side to eat (too hot) but no place for it to sit inside. Food is cooked fresh so better to call it in. We ordered chicken shawarma, chicken tikka, fries, hummus & rice. Different bread on both sandwiches not a flat pita. Good bread but it soaked up all juices from meat, we can ask for more sauce next time. Hummus was grainy good but could use more flavor(personal preference).Customer service 4.5 stars person helped us named Mohammed was nice very helpfull. Person on grill great also same goes for butcher. My only complaint here is they forgot my rice but also gave me free fries.

This evening I decided to try Al Madina and ordered the mixed grill with fries. All I can say is WOOOOW! The meat was well marinated, juicy, and full of flavor. A major plus was that the kitchen and grilling area were very clean. All the employees were kind and made me feel welcome. The only problem I had was that I did not order more food because it tasted divine and I finished eating it too quickly. Ive eaten at other Mediterranean and halal restaurants in the area and I must say that Al Madina is a HIDDEN GEM that can give mixed grills from other restaurants a run for their money. Yall MUST try it! I highly recommend Al Madina and I will definitely be returning!

Of all the Meat Market stores I Love. This store is at the top of the Love List with ease. The staff is always ready and willing to make suggestions and recommendations. The friendliness is outstanding and excels with glorious admiration. Aside from the Protein sold here. There are other various assorted products such as dry to can foods, dairies, fruit juices, carbonated beverages, some health and beauty applications, frozen veggies to local farm dry produce, toilet paper, and some kitchen housewares products etc.. I highly recommend this place with great pleasure.

Yesterday I decided to try this place because I heard they have some delicious sandwiches and great Moroccan style kebab so I wanted to try some. I did not know what to order and the staff members made me feel very welcomed, gave me suggestions, and treated me with a lot of care. The food was so delicious and beyond what I expected. Nobody leaves the market without getting personal attention and assistance with whatever they need.2. Their meats are simply top notch. If you have never tried “halal” meats, you are in for a treat. American style, Texas sized, steaks, so fresh you would think they had been butchered ten minutes prior. But at affordable prices. Beef, lamb, goat and chicken, with a large selection of organ meat, are offered up in a super clean, traditional butcher shop style.The meat tastes chemical/hormone free. Matter of fact, I started purchasing Halal meat, not for religious reasons, but because when I moved to Texas, I couldnt eat any locally purchased meat, due to the horrible chemical taste.We had been purchasing all of our meat, and other specialty items, from another Halal Markets, as we couldnt fulfill our needs at just one market. However, going forward, it looks like my family and I can fulfill all of our needs at Al Madina Meat Market. But regardless of whether or not you have international market needs, If you like excellent meat, at a great price, this store should be on your shopping list.

Real organic halal meat is hard to find in San Antonio, but Al Madina has it. The flavor and cuts are superior to any other market Ive been to. After finding them, I will not be buying my meat from anywhere else. (Try their authentic Moroccan sandwiches!)

One of the best kept secrets in town. A great place to get quality clean meat. Also they make great burgers, wings, and pizza. The lamb burgers and there pizzas are outstanding and I reccomend trying. They are also very reasonable priced. If your muslim, it is also all halal. Definetly a must visit.

I liked their halal raw meat section but the grill is not upto the mark, may be the worst I have ever seen in San Antonio area. We have bought sandwiches twice from this place and to my surprise both the times we were unhappy as the meat was raw and smelled nasty. Do not recommend their grill section!!!

Al Madina is a wonderful place to shop for fresh meat for any occasion. I personally loved to buy meat for family BBQs and gatherings. The Cafe/ Grill food selection and taste are also great. I have tried many other medditerean cuisines here and San Antonio, Texas an by far Al Madina Cafe is the best. The staff are very friendly and kind n always helping with customers needs n wants. Its nice to see a sole-proprietorship thrive in San Antonio and I appreciate supporting this local business because they are the ONLY place in San Antonio that I have found offering specialty cuts like an ENTIRE LEG OF LAMB. This is great! They also offer a lot of very unique craft grocery items that are extremely difficult to find elsewhere and everything at a reasonable and affordable price.

We went in to get a couple of steaks for my daughters birthday dinner. The cut was perfect and the meat was excellent. The prices were good too. The staff was super friendly. When we were checking out he found out it was my 8 year olds birthday and let her pick any candy she wanted as a gift. That was so sweet. We will definitely get our steaks from here from now on.

Mohammeds Al-Madina is a hidden gem of San Antonio! The butcher shop, olive bar and essentials of Arabic cuisine (Lebanese yogurt drink) were already outstanding, but then they added a grill with some of the best grilled kebabs and Shawarma available in San Antonio. Havent tried the pizza. The grills grilled house-made spicy merguez is truly one of the citys great sandwiches. And lately Ive been buying a steak and having it grilled there immediately for a quick takeout steak frites! Who else does that?Total deliciousness, very reasonable prices, salaam aleykum!

This meat market is Horrible place to buy meat. Along with over price and have to deal with bad customer service, I got leg of lamb the owner said he cant cut it. Have to buy the entire leg. I Asked about his burger he said, what you need everything is different he cant explain. I asked him what kid of meat, he says everything in it!!! Insha-Allah hope Halal way!!! Best halal meat shop in San Antonio. The owner is extremely nice, and knows his meat. If you are a beef guy then this is the place to go. They have many varieties of steak cuts like T-bone, rib eye, top and bottom sirloin. They also know how to do Bihari kabab cuts.
