Super friendly customer service! We went in to exchange change for dollars. The employees were well prepared and ready for my endless bags of change. After about 30 minutes of patiently waiting for me to count all of my change, they traded me the coins for cash and I was on my way. If I still lived in San Antonio, I would definitely recommend that everyone visit this particular location. Thank you! 5/5

Staff is nice but always only 1 or 2 people and the lines gets ridiculously long because its always only 1 cashier.

As like most other Dollar General stores, this one is cluttered & tightly packed. Claustrophobic in feeling & appearance due to overly stocked shelves, poor lighting, and narrow aisles.

Their always out of stock on essential items you need. Sort handed. Always one cashier. Be prepared to wait in a huge line. Or on someone to come check you out!!! Never enough shopping baskets. They did away with their carry carts. I had to use a laundry basket to do my shopping. Its so dirty I dont they mop and sweep any more. It never fails either the debt card machines are always broken so theres days where their only taking cash for days. Only this Dollar Store...Right!!!

Even with the Christmas rush the cashier was very polite, friendly, and greeted every customer with a smile.

They have a lot of homeless people hanging around the side not they would get four stars

DG stores are always a mess as if a tornado blew through it. However, lots of trinkets and cool stuff and always leaving and buying things I dont need.

Chaos in there only 1 register open, credit card machine not working and shelves are never stocked. And always check your receipt they have one price on shelf and charge a different price

Like coming to THIS location ..ALWAYS clean and stocked ..can get taco shells here ..NOT at the New Mathis location. Always treat myself to ice cream cone from McDonalds.. Polite,friendly employees.....

Its a great place to shop for those necessities you forgot to pickup at your last grocery run but be prepared to pay a little extra for convenience. Aisles are usually cluttered and theres usually only one cashier. Dont expect big box prices.

Recently remodeled interior has increased the space for product making more selections available all the time. The store is easy to navigate and is kept clean.

Great place when you need something quick

The night managers are very polite despite the fact that the store is very busy, and they are very helpful when asked questions about where ro find certain items.

I liked that the shelves were stocked on my last visit there. The store was very organized and staff was friendly and ready for service.

Long line with one register open. The manager comes out from the back and tells the girl at the register to clean up the back once the line is done... Instead of opening a cash register. 15 minutes in line for sunscreen is rediculous. Have management show some accountability and help the cashiers! Open a register instead of hiding in the back

Sharon is the most rude and disrespectful dollar general employee Ive ever met. Cussing and rolling her eyes at customers. I come here alot since it is the only one near my house And I see her selling underage kids cigarettes on a weekly basis. Avoid this location if you want good customer service.
