Large selection of items, even groceries. I liked the fact that there were restrooms, allowing me to stay longer and see everything, especially seasonal decorations. Glad to see this place thrives

There seems to be not a lot of items are 99cents longer, compares to before. Now it is either 1.99, 2.99, 3.99, 4.99 etc.

Love the cleanest of the store and how organized everything was. Will be back on Friday. 😆

Recently shopped at this location and it was a pleasant experience.Clean place with completely stocked shelves in every aisle!They do have name brand items and they are marked up so dont go in thinking EVERYTHING is 99¢I did by some off brand Cheetos and Chocolate chip cookies that were actually pretty good

Besides their great prices Id like to mention how kind the employees are. The cashiers are so courteous, helpful and efficient... I especially would like to thank Patricia and Serena.. they are excellent at customer service.

Here lately the 99 cent store has been stocking many unfamiliar name products. I used to stop by occasionally and always came out spending $20 or more. Here lately nothing has captured my interest. The batteries I purchased a few weeks back only lasted 2 days where as the ones from Dollar Tree last about 3 months. Ill give them another chance once the pandemic levels off a bit and the shelves get properly stocked. This is the best location in SA. Store is properly maintained.

I love this store but they really need to change it to a 5 and below or a Dollar General because everything is not 99 cents.

There are some things i like to pick up at 99¢ store. Today I went to look for Halloween decorations and I was not disappointed. Found everything I needed.

I have fun shopping in this place even it isnt only dollar products, they have a lot of choices very cheap for the house, personal care, toys, holidays decorations, grocery and even great wines that some of them In HEB cost $13, you can get them for only $5 or $7, very convenient prices for everything. They always changing for new stuff so just go and get fun shopping.

Such an underrated store!!! I got to pay less here for produce and milk compared to other stores like Walmart and HEB! There are some items that are over the 99c but they are still cheaper than retail stores! I recommend coming here for produce and stocking up on meat/vegetables.

This place is okay to pick up some quick snacks and some goods, better than dollar tree.

I use to love this company until they raised their price drastically in the middle of the pandemic because more people came in so they figured they could make more money when people really needed the lower prices. Now their prices rival that of whole foods and Walmart yet you still get expired items or item close to expiration. The off brand items cost just as much as the name brand in other stores. The wine is now higher then walmart and HEB wines. There aren’t any savings at this store anymore you will pay high prices for off brand and expired items I can’t count how many times I’d brought vegetables and they were molded.

Great prices and friendly employees. I like shopping here as I can buy a lot and spend little money. If you have the app you can get free stuff and maybe even save some cash.

This is the most cleanest, well organized no clutter store I have ever been to and Ive been to store in other states too. Theres even a person at the door handing out wet wipes for your cart. I highly recommend a visit to check out all the deals.

Usually the cleanest in town . Second choice would be Callaghan.

I started shoping 99 cent last year ut makes a whole differencec. Try it and safe money people.

Had a few issues at first with the mask wearing, but then the experience was great. I am mask exempt due to my disabilities. I do not like suffocating in my mask. I am grateful that I am allowed my Constitutional freedoms at this store. Try their sparkling soda waters. They are delicious. HEB has them too, but they have different flavors than HEB.

Good bys but the store always looks like a bomb went off in there. I am sure this relates to customers messing with items and moving them but it makes it hard to find things

There is a guy that is really young with blonde hair always in a great mood when you first walk in the door and leaving he has a lot of energy and so polite and helpful.

The greeter at the door, was very nice and attentive. And making sure everyone who entered and left had their hands sanitized. And wearing face mask.The store does have everything you need for low price.

This store is really awesome!!! They have some of the freshest produce in the area. The store also offers an impressive wine selection, given the price. They even sell comforter sets, bathroom sets and accessories, and even small furniture. One downside is that the checkout lines can get pretty long.

Very good Low cost place

One of my favorite places to shop. They should consider changing the name to 1.99 Cents Only though. Many items are priced in that range. But I still find bargains.

Give me ten bucks and I can buy enough variety of foods to cook a meal for two. Name brands and not so familiar brands make the selection wide for all tastes. From fresh fruits & veggies to cleaning products and everything in between, definitely worth a visit!👍🏻

Reasonable fresh produce. Good place to buy condiments and paper products. I buy cat treats and portobello mushrooms at great deals!

Just be careful and double check the actual price for the items you want, but everything is affordable and usually good quality

Love this store. The one on my side of town is super dirty and rude people. This one is nice and clean and always fun to go to and have great prices for things you would need around the house.

First time here. Most everything here was .99 cents. They also have some fresh produce and other food items. Store was clean and shelves were neatly organized.

Found some great beautiful ceramic plates for $1 each and some really great plant pots for $1

Just a really fun store! At any given time, you can find all sorts of deals of name brand items. Interesting food items not found in the local grocery stores. I do advise checking expiration dates. Fresh fruits and vegetables are often very good. Over the last few years, I have found many good deals.

Not a good day no mushrooms or carrots, but must say the price of eggs down. These are great eggs large and beautiful yolks. Best place to buy eggs in my opinon. Usually get a lot of groceries here.

Had necessities like water, bread, etc. They were out of milk and eggs. It doesnt carry that much fresh vegetables or refrigerated items. San Antonio had suffered severe winter weather with no electricity or water

Good quality products are sold at this place. Some products have familiar names. If your not into name brands but enjoy good products at very reasonable prices. The produce is fresh. There are an absorbent number of can goods. Cleaning and laundry products are available. Products really do a great job of cleaning. Store is generally kept clean, well stocked and organized. Although staff are not very talkative the are friendly and helpful when approached. There is no better place to get your party favorites or greeting cards.Store is handicap friendly. Cash, checks, credit and debit cards are accepted. Dont forget your holiday decorations. You can get most anything here except the kitchen sink. Check out their hardware section.

I like this store for quick meals, snacks and cleaning supplies. But they really should change the name. End in a 9¢ Store, cuz prices are not only 99¢ but $1.49, $2.49, $4.99, $5.99 and so on. Which I see confuses the elderly that go there to shop thinking everything is only 99¢. But its not!

This store on that location has a lot to offer and more. Some very interesting wines at a rock bottom prices that you cant beat. As for their staff, Ki is very nice and joyful.

A little cluttered, but looks nicer than the one on Walzem Rd. Smells better too.Also, they need to stock different flavors of Sobe. I will be a regular buyer of this product (bought 20 on my first visit to this location) but want a better selection.
