I love the Dr. She was easy to talk and knowledgeable. The staff...some were...some not so much. They gave me some sample contact lenses and asked me to to call back in a week to let them know if they worked out or not. I didn’t care for them so I wanted to see what other options there were. Left message after message. No response. Were they just upset because my eyes didn’t agree with the brand of lenses? Were they busy? I mean? Why did they never answer? I didn’t want to just walk in without an appointment during a pandemic and risk being scolded at. So I just moved along and bought my contacts online with WALDO. Which are amazing lenses by the way! They are also dailies like the Dr. recommended but they don’t stick to my eyelids or feel like I put a piece of rubber in my eye like the brand they gave me at the office. Oh well, I tried.

I have had my eyes examined by Dr. Ramirez-Shank for the last 3 years and I am always pleased by the friendly and professional service. The office staff is great too. I have on more than one occasion needed another copy of my prescription and they have provided me another copy without hesitation. Even the hand sanitizer used in the office is top shelf.If anyone knows me...I can be kinda critical...and I really like the Doc and her staff.

The doc is very skilled and does a complete and thorough eye exam. She asks a lot of questions to make sure that youre getting the right Rx, especially when it comes to contact lenses. I highly recommend going to her. Also, her staff is attentive and courteous.

I use to have her as eye dr when I was a kid and now i take my daughter here for her exams. I highly recommend this place if your in need of an eye exam.

Dr. Ramirez-Shank has been my doctor for a number of years. She is most thorough when conducting her examination. She is always open to answer any questions that may arise. There is never any problem to schedule an appointment.

My husband and I both went for our appointment on the same day. The staff were friendly. The young lady who helped me with my initial eye exam was kind, personable and friendly. The Doctors care was better than what we have known in the past. She answered our questions in detail and was also very proficient. She was honest and knowledgeable. We are thankful for Dr. Ramirez-Shank!

Dr Ramirez Shank is the BEST eye doctor Ive ever seen! She accepts my insurance which many other optometrist offices wouldnt accept. I was expecting to be charged a whole lot more! The office staff was very friendly and professional! Thank you Dr Ramirez Shank for helping me see better everyday!

I was scheduled for an appointment as a new patient for this Dr. and selected her based on her being listed as a provider and having positive reviews. Well I guess my daughter was probably right when she said some of the reviews may have been written by people paid to say positive things because I got the worst experience ever. Showed up to my appointment on Saturday Feb. 1st 20 minutes early only to find a hand written note on the door saying no Dr. today. I proceeded to get out of my car because there were 2 cars parked in front of the building and they had the doors locked. Come on now, this is not 1980 with an office located in a small rural town where that was the norm given the limited means in which to contact patients. We are too advanced with an abundance of technology to allow a patient to waste their time and gas to show up for an appointment and not have the courtesy of someone allowing entrance into the office and explain if there was an emergency that occurred with the Dr. and offer to reschedule the appointment. No type of empathy shown and no respect for the inconvenience caused to me, the person that drove up after me, or the numerous others whose day was affected by these idiots. Very unprofessional.I wish I could give a minus star but the only way to submit a review is to leave at least one star but let it be known that this office is not worthy of any.

As a new customer at Vision Source I had an amazing first visit. The staff is so friendly and Dr. C. Diane Ramirez-Shank is such a kind hearted women. I highly recommend coming here. :)

Dr. Ramirez and her staff are a pleasure to visit. The staff are all helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. Dr. Ramirez takes her time and is very thorough with her examinations and explanations. Appointments are on-time and the waiting area has been beautifully remodeled. My contacts and glasses are always spot-on and I have never had to return for any adjustments. Couldnt ask for anything more!

Horrible communication. I call asking about my contacts oder and the lady on the phone tries to set me up for an exam that has already happened and then claim I dont have my insurance on their files! Something I know they have because they confirmed it with me at my last visit! I order my contacts last year in early December! They said they would call me when the Contacts were ready, but for a whole month and a half they did not once give me a single phone call. I had to contact them to find out why my contacts havent come in and they claim that they are on back order, and that nothing can be done! I want to know why this wasnt clearly communicated to me! I will not be coming back to this place for ordering contacts or getting glasses. The only thing this place has to offer is their eye exams and thats it! I recommend to everyone else that they do the same and get their products some where else.

Awesome experience for my daughters first eye exam. Doctor is courteous, staff is too - all around a great atmosphere. I have 5 children, 3 of which are glasses wearers, so if my 2 younger children need eye exams in the future you know where Im going!

Dr. Shank always takes the time to conduct a thorough screening. She seems to genuinely care for her patients. A great doctor.

Needed to get a signed prescription to submit to Oakley for my sunglasses. Optometrist and staff were welcoming even though I may not be a regular patient. Would recommend. I may just make the drive to San Antonio for future exams.

Very pleased with the staff and dr. Everything runs very smoothly. I got my glasses in a week. I have never had service that quick. I will recommend for sure.

Longest wait I have ever had for an eye exam. Over one hour even though I arrive well before my appointment. I dont quite understand how doctors hold you firm to you appointments even charging you if you are late or miss them, but somehow they are allowed to abuse YOUR time as if it were somehow less important.

It is my judgement that the greatest influence a business can exercise in behalf of people in time of medical need is to provide overall customer satisfaction. That is what Dr. Ramirez and staff exhibited.

The doctor was very nice shes wonderful. One of the front desk assistants was very abrupt and kind of rude with me even when I called on the phone wish I would have asked her name.

Very disappointed they were supposed to order my daughters glasses but they didnt tell me that i needed to go back and sign some paperwork and every time i called they said the glasses were not in till i talked to a different person and she said the order was not put in because of that by then it had been already 21 days so Im very upset that they didnt inform me or call in advance instead of waiting this whole time.

My appointment is at 10 am, it is now 10:50 am and I am still waiting to see the doctor for my routine eye exam.
