I didnt get an eye exam but i did get my glasses there. The lady was very helpful. She called my insurance maybe 3 or 4 time cause they where taking to long . she even help me pick out a pair that was in my budget but at the same time she try doing the most for the price. Thank you
I called right before they were closing and they were nice enough to have someone wait in store for me to walk in and pick up my prescription.
The manager is rude and mean.
So slow service, 3 persons working for one client, they dont care for the time or quality,
The optometrist doesnt work for Walmart, but is an entirely separate business. They just happen to be in the same building. So when I was told that my examination would $$$, I about choked. (I always used Walmart in Albuquerque because they were affordable, but this was outrageous.)Well, I didnt have time to shop around, so I paid my fee. But I wont be back, even if the prices were good. The doctor does not use gloves and the team is wishy-washy about cleaning equipment. After my exam, they gave me my pair of contacts to wear out the door, but they dont provide a sanitary place to put them in. No sink to wash your hands. They just put the contacts out on top of the filthy magazines that are laying about. Uh, no.So, nope. Nope. Nope. Staff was nice and all, but I really dont want to get pink eye while Im here. Next time I need an eye exam, Im going somewhere else.
I went to the this optometrist for an annual exam. The optometrist, Dr Karen Dam, was extremely rude and condescending. Her instructions were extremely confusing. She kept telling me to relax and at one point told me we arent listening good today, are we? Turns out, due to poor instructions, my left lens is wrong prescription. I went back to get it fixed. I asked specifically for the other optometrist to recheck my eyes. She said yes, then was the one to do it. I say do it ironically, because their was no exam. All she wanted to do was get me in bifocals, but I have no problem with my near vision. If you go to here for an eye exam, and she walks into the exam room, dont walk, run from the place. She should not be practicing. Her work is probably hurting more patients than helping.
Im trying to get glasses for my daughter and, apparently, not everyone accepts her insurance, which is through the CHiP program. So I call to find out if Walmart accepts it. I give them the exact insurance name, as stated per the state of Texas. What do I get? We dont know if we accept it until you come in and bring the card. Its hit and miss. We might say no, but its yes. Or well say yes and its no. So Pat and her buddies at Walmart dont know what kind of insurance they accept? I gave them the EXACT names. Not everyone has a car to zoom around town. It takes 1-1/2 hrs by bus for me to get there, and for them to say no? I dont have that kind of time to waste. Walmart should train their people on whether or not they can accept a certain insurance. I really dont get that. Even if they said, Give us her insurance # and well look it up. But to be told (pretty much) they dont know what theyre doing? Bites!
Wallmart always has everything i need. I must say i do LOVE H.E.B but now a days there almost as many walmarts as this os HEB in 210_SA
Way over priced and extremely rude. Kept insisting I had to have my eyes dilated even though I had to drive after appointment. Went to another Walmart optical and paid $20 less for the exam and they didnt need to dialate my eyes. I would never recommend them to anyone. No wonder they barely have anyone in there and others are packed.
Fat Lady with the glasses was rude and put her finger in my face telling me to wait. In the middle of providing information she needed.
Ive never have use them for myself
