I visited Rosella Coffee & Wine Bar on an early Friday morning. I sat near the window facing their outdoor area to set up my work laptop. I had a pleasant experience as it was not a busy morning. I ordered their breakfast sandwich with fruit and a seasonal pumpkin spiced latte with whip cream and caramel. I enjoyed the ambiance and great customer service. It is a nice walk to the San Antonio Museum of Art and river walk.

Rosella was a 10/10! Our group arrived early Friday morning and the staff were super friendly and accommodating to the size of our group. The barista Sheila in particular was very helpful and checked in with us from time to time in case we needed waters for the table or anything else. There was another barista there who also came and moved around the outdoor patio umbrellas for us since the sun had started coming out. I didn’t catch her name though, but she was also very nice. The food was also very tasty and came out fairly quick. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for a quick bite to eat.

Very good coffee, had a cappuccino, and a couple of eggs and bacon. Everything was good albeit a little on the pricey side. Cool space with nice patio also.

I love this place! During the day you get quality coffee and at night, great table service. They have a great seasonal Pumpkin beer on draft that you must try! The atmosphere is great for work, but staff is always attentive and friendly. It’s places like this that make San Antonio so charming.

This is one of the good place that I found unexpectedly… everything is perfect, service is so love it… one thing is guys, would be nice if you would have some cords charging… would be just perfect lolHighly recommend…. And one more thing a chocolate muffin just a few sec more warmer… would make it blowing….

Beautiful space, friendly staff, spacious seating inside and out, and absolutely incredible coffee. Tried a cappuccino and the milk was silky and smooth, the black coffee was El Salvadoran and had incredible flavor. Bought some Mexican beans that I can’t wait to try at home. The barista was knowledgeable about the coffee and brewing methods, and when we requested our food to be a bit warmer than it was at first, they easily warmed it up for us no problems. Great spot, would definitely return!

Stopped by to try their coffee and it did not disappoint during this cool rainy weather. I opted for a hazelnut latte and a 8oz. They both tasted freshly made with the perfect amount of foam on my latte. It’s a cute little corner place for those who need to connect and type type type away!! It also works for a quick catching up conversation as the vibe fits various occasions. The barista was fast with the orders as well!

I ordered the nanna berry bowl and a iced black coffee. My friend ordered the chai something or other, but said he really liked it. I loved my bowl and coffee.

Currently sitting getting some homework done & can’t help but think about when I’m going to come here next! I’m not from the area but am here for several months for work & I definitely think I found my “spot”. The ambience is super chill & relaxed with a gorgeous industrial vibe. Annabelle (I think that was her name) who took my order was super friendly as soon as I walked in the door, and so personal! After she took my name for my order, she politely brought me my coffee while I got situated & used my first name to ask if she could do anything else for me. Multiple other employees were checking in with their customers by first name throughout my time here. oh and the coffee is delicious! Definitely coming back.

Amazing, friendly staff! I I ordered the margarita pizza to go and the in that short 10 minutes I really felt at home. The pizza is absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back :)

Worth it for happy hour. Interesting wine selection. Waiter seemed a little absent minded but sweet. Flatbread was good, but would only return for happy hour.

If you enjoy a real coffee shop then look no further. I can honestly say all coffee hot spots are not created equal and this location will make you believe that. The atmosphere is really accurate when it comes to the authenticity of a coffeehouse. The building construction itself is truly amazing inside. The decor drives it home when you think of a true coffee shop. Service was pleasent and helpful. Order was prepared as expected. I recommend the slow pour and any breakfast item really. It can get busy at times but that to me really states how much a location is appreciated. Worth the stop.

First of all, how can you call yourself a wine bar with only a few selections of wine? Confused. I went here for their grand opening, and though the space is nice, there were clearly some red flags. First, we were given tickets and told we could use them for a glass of wine or beer, or a tasting. When we got to the bar, tastings were not allowed. It was really a mute issue when I learned there was only a small selection to choose from. Appetizers were served and staff was friendly but it is clearly not a wine bar in its true sense. Its more of a millennial targeted coffee bar that also has a few beers and wines. Thank you. Next!

Super yummy food. It was a little crowded and difficult to find seating, but the atmosphere was wonderful. Not too sure if it was worth it for the price, but you’re willing to splurge, the eggs are super fluffy and the coffee is great! Just wish they served bacon. :(

The pictures of the dood are not truthful. They don’t have waffles, but shows it in the pictures. The food was good, but they are over priced. They didn’t have majority of the go to wines available. The space is nice, but that was about it.

A nice place to get some coffee and a snack while relaxing or studying. Theyve got a ton of coffee options, as well as beer and wine, so plenty of choices for everyone. I snacked on a bagel with lox, and it was excellent made and enjoyable.

This place is amazing! I went with the baristas recommendations for food and coffee. Avocado toast and hazelnut coffee. My friend got the same coffee drink and breakfast sandwich. Ut is a little pricey but so worth it for a treat. Located in downtown, its not too far from the Alamo or pearl district.

Never a bad time when I come here. The coffee is always fresh and super good. Miles ahead of Starbucks. My favorite thing to order here is the avocado toast. If you havent tried it, do yourself a favor and get it.

I love discovering new and hip coffee shops and this one definitely made my top list to come back to! They made my hazelnut latte perfect and the service was so friendly. My latte was so good I didn’t even have to add anything to it like I normally do! Such a chill and relaxed place with an urban feel to it, the art and decorative lighting really make this place a unique favorite! I wish more places were like this one.

This cafe was pretty cool. I like the atmosphere. I got there when it opened to beat the crowd and have some quiet. The service was good. You order at the registwr and they call your name to pick up drink and food. I ordered a coffee and two breakfast dishes, the avocado toast and the french toast special. The avocado toast with fried egg and bacon was really good. The french toast was just ok. The coffee was good. I like how it feels so relaxing in this cafe. Not sure what it is, maybe the all wood interior and open space. Id recommend this joint.

Loved the atmosphere & the look of this place! The food was okay, but the coffee was great & there was a great upstairs area perfect for studying/working. My one complaint is that the staff wasnt very friendly.

I like the space a ton, with outdoor seating a second floor, all of which are inviting. Its open late, which is great, and the teas they serve are really solid. There were a lot of teenagers hanging out on a Thursday night, but other than that, it was a great vibe and really nice barista.

Delicious Cofefe ;-) and their Sunday brunch Brioche Franch ;-P Toast ($8) was off the chain. Added the eggs (+$3) and added bacon (+$3) and it was worth it. Look at all that bacon!? Wonderful service! Will definitely be back

I really really liked the coffe. I asked for the latte macchiato I am used to and the barista made it for me which was really awesome. You guys should check it out!

I have tried coffee and sandwiches at this Coffeeshop. There are not so many options to choose from for lunch, but what they offer is tasty. Also, the coffee is good.The missing star is for the waiting time! I have waited more than 20 mins for this sandwich and my buzzer didn’t turn on!

Dirty Chai (double espresso chai) is great. The food menu is great too!

Great coffee and friendly staff! There is a second level and an outdoor area so finding seating is not an issue. WiFi is available, but sometimes I have difficulties connecting to the it.Also, the coffee shop is located on a pretty busy street so parking is limited.

Rosellas intimate socially distant wine tasting event was very romantic and informative. I enjoyed Rudy sharing his knowledge about wine. If you see tickets available, scoop them up!

Great coffee place if you are passing through san antonio using the I-10 and looking for a proper coffee shop (its a struggle looking for non gas-station type coffee outside cities).This was really nice because 1) there was free parking, 2) still en route, 3) quieter part of the city 4) of course the coffee also tasted great!

Great ambience and coffee was good. Barista who helped me was nice, sat down to do some studying and was happy that I finally found a good place to study. However things took a sudden turn when I was approached by what I believe to be a manager or owner. She first came over to tell me that masks were supposed to be in at all times where you are not actively eating or drinking. She was kind of rude but whatever, she’s just following the rules. About ten minutes later she approached me and my friend again saying that people weren’t allowed to sit inside unless they were eating. She allowed us to remain as there were about ten empty tables in the restaurant, but asked if we had seen the sign describing this policy, when I said I misunderstood she said “go sit outside, it’s a beautiful day.” I thought about ordering food to comply with the rules but they don’t have a kitchen, only premade salad and sandwiches so I was quite confused. People don’t usually come to coffee shops to sit and eat stale sandwiches. But anyways I left because she kept staring at us angrily. Probably won’t go back.

While branded as a semi-specialty coffee shop with food offerings, the coffee doesn’t always live up to specialty expectations. Nutty or earthy textures may overpower your espresso or drip coffee.Some satisfying food options for light snacks, with relatively consistent output. Nicely furnished shop, but often too crowded to find seating during high traffic times. Limited parking.

The greatest hipster coffee place in San Antonio, their coffee is great as is their breakfast foods. Also the place looks super cool and has a great ambiance to it.

Im tremendously pleased with this coffee shop. The prices are incredibly reasonable but not cheap. The food and drink selection is excellent. I had several things from the menu during my visit and each one was excellent. The decor is very industrial-hipster, and there is plenty of seating. Really excellent spot for a social meetup and for some coffeeshop work time.

Beautiful designed coffee house. Reminds me of a college sit down with everyone being on laptops and just sipping good coffee as well as eating healthy treats. I love their Alvacado Toast with Eggs And Bacon! Was quite surprised this place also serves beer in the evening times. I enjoy all breakfast treats as well as their bottomless house coffee. Parking is not bad either so you have to park around the area and hope you find something conveniently in front of the factory looking coffee house. Love the outside patio too and have seen pet dogs accompany their loved ones for a coffee pit stop! I enjoy my weekends at Rosellas so thank you to all hard working staff whom gives it the extra touch of love and care!

This place is absolutely one of my favorites. Ive had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.

The ambiance at this Rosella location is great! There’s nothing better than enjoying a cup of coffee on the second story nook. There is a selection of pastries, alcoholic beverages and a small food menu. Most recently, I ordered an iced vanilla latte, which, despite being rather sweet, tasted amazing. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because I don’t feel genuine warmth from the employees.

I love working from here when I work remote. Lots of activity and the food is pretty yummy as well. Strong Wifi which is important for working.

Got there about one, it wasnt busy. Ill return friends next time. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.

Favorite place to work over coffee

Delightful ambiance, plenty of seating, and friendly staff characterize Rosella well. I love that there is both an upstairs and a downstairs, so if you want to bury yourself in work you can sort of have that hide-away feeling.Im a big fan of their avocado toast, but the egg cloud sandwich is indulgently delicious, while not being too heavy on the richer ingredients.They do not call out coffee orders, so do be vigilant of the barista station to make sure you get your coffee hot or before the ice melts and waters it all down. Their food is delicious, always served hot and fresh, and they have a lot of very good light options.Theres lots of natural lighting, and the industrial feel fits very well with the area its in. Parking can be a little hard to find, however, so you may have to park down the block.

I love this cute little coffee shop near my church. The avocado toast is every millennials dream and if you add an egg its to die for. Its set in an industrial type building with a second floor. Theres multiple types of tables and they can accommodate studiers, coffee dates, bible studies, and everything in between. I think you can even rent them for events. They have coffee, craft beers, and a huge support for local artists and businesses.Definitely worth a stop!

Rosella is a quiet coffee shop that always had good music playing, wonderful light and ambiance, great coffee, friendly staff, and if you look up once in awhile youll surely meet new people.

One of my favorite coffee shops in town. Quiet with a comforting hum of other people working and socializing. A perfect balance. The chalk wall always has interesting drawings and poems, something new every time I visit. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu - the toast is always perfectly toasted, the cheese perfectly melted, the avocado perfectly ripe. Great beverage selection (local brews, tea, and coffee). I love that they do visiting beans, giving me a chance to try a new coffee bean and expand my palate. Smart, chill staff that seems to work as a perfectly oiled machine - I dont sense any conflict or internal turmoil when Im interacting with them. A happy coffee shop staff makes for a happy coffee shop.

Friendly staff. Underlying coffee taste was GREAT (very deep flavor with zero bitterness I find THE most popular coffee chain has), however...it was one of the worst white mochas Ive ever had so maybe the white chocolate they use? Still better than the big chain coffee and I was born and raised in Seattle and can assure you their coffee quality is superior to most so as long as you dont order a white mocha ;). Will be trying all local coffee roasters while I am visiting :).

The last time I was here, the gentleman at the cashier was exceedingly kind to me. He treated me good. I love the coffee beans here. The panini sandwiches are amazing. The hummus is outstanding and remarkable. I cant believe they make the bread from scratch and warm and toasty there at the back inn the kitchen. This is a great spot to be at around downtown. And as a local, I am proud this place exists in my hometown. Nostalgia come to me every time I visit this place. It is that good in my experience. Love it.

Great coffee shop, but the music is a bit too loud and the lights are too dim so if you want to really focus and study, you might want to study elsewhere. I think light studying is doable though.I’ve only had their lattes, and they’re pretty good! Better than Starbucks 100%, but my only complaint is that the latte wasn’t hot enoughAtmosphere: very cute, and I love the outside patio. There is plenty of space to sit/study. And this place would be a perfect date spot!Lastly, I was at this coffee shop for about 6 hours studying for an exam, and when I got home, I’ve noticed a very strong, weird/musty/warehouse smell on all of my belongings (backpack/purse) and clothes. I couldn’t quite figure out what the smell was.. if I could guess, it could’ve been from the coffee bean/oil residues, but it wasn’t a pleasant smell. The smell lingered in my clothes for days.
