The customer service is excellent!! This is the best service department I have ever encountered, they are friendly, honest, and take their time to understand what needs to be done with your vehicle. They give you a time window when your car will be ready but will also call you when its ready. They understand the importance of your vehicle and show that they care! My encounter was with Derek and he is the reason why I will buy from this dealership.

If I could give no stars I would. Very bad experience at this dealership. Julie Flores was the sales person that attended me. She was rude and unprofessional. Acted like she didn’t want to help me out and I was wasting HER time. I am ready to purchase a vehicle but the dealership didn’t want my business. The manager didn’t even try to talk to me. I used to be in the car business and I would never treat my customers like that. I suggest that everyone go to North Park Volkswagen to purchase your vehicle because they have way better sales people that want to earn your business.

I went to this dealership with my sister and it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Julie Flores was the one who had assisted us. She was rude, unhelpful, and clearly had some misconceptions of my sister and I. My sister was ready to buy a car, but this dealership did not seem to want her business. If I could, I would give this dealership zero stars. I really hope these sales people get trained not to judge their customers and lose out on a sale because of their opinions on whether someone has the money to purchase a car or not. Are we seriously still in the day in age where you can judge someones financial worth by their appearance? So ridiculous. Dont go to this dealership. Youll just be wasting your time since they are selective on who they want to help.

Stephanie was amazing from the start. She had pulled the vehicle to the front of the building and made it very easy to test drive. Along the buying process she did not pressure me or try to up sale me and items I declined. I can in per-approved with a auto loan quote from USAA and they managed to get me a lower rate with capital one. Stephanie kept me informed as they detailed the car and ran the numbers on the best rates. I would personally recommend seeking her to be your sales agent.

Worst experience in Sales!I asked to look at a VW Atlas cross sport, and the Salesman, opened a vehicle for me, left it running w me in it, for atleast 20 minutes, and never came back! It was hot, humid, and just a complete waste of time.UPDATE! I went in just to get a new battery because my car wouldnt start and decided to get my oil change done as well, and Derek was super nice and helpful and he came and told me there were a few other problems with my Tiguan and he went above and beyond to help out and told me it was under extended warranty and got me into a loaner car and called me later on that evening and said it was all fixed and ready to go. Derek is the reason why I love coming to this location.
We purchased a new Atlas with every bell and whistle, the car went in for repair and had to be returned twice for poor workmanship. The service manager is a great person but the sub-par work that is delivered hinders the ability to refer the service department because their is no integrity to what is delivered.
Went Friday morning with an appointment set up and had to wait 2 hours for an oil change. Saturday morning while traveling home the light for my tire pressure came on. Monday morning the battery died. According to them Friday morning they had checked the whole car to check if everything was good and they said it was. After my Friday visit everything in my car started going wrong. I waited Monday morning 2 hours and 30 mins just for a change of battery.
I went to car dealership. I was told everyone wears a mask. Only one person had a mask on and customers did not wear a mask. Do not go here if u at high risk

I went in for an alignment that costed me almost $150 and the issue was not taken care of as well as my schedule date had to be rescheduled due to incompetence of letting the customers know that certain equipment was down and not working. End result drove 20 minutes to my appointment just for them to tell me they cant even take my car in.
Had a great experience, an amazing deal for a new car. Literally no worries for 80k miles . Just put gas in it. Stephanie was a very nice and helpful sales person. I recommend dealing with her. She is not pushy or trying to up sale you. Simple as going in and telling her your budget and expected monthly payment and leave getting more than you expected.

I got a 2019 preowned Jetta and about a day later I called them to let them know a yellow indicator light with an exclamation point would pop up and go away after awhile. I called service parts and a man told me i was just driving and parking the car wrong. A little over two months later my whole car wouldn’t start up until I got a jump and all these lights appeared. I Took it back to dealership where I was told I need a new battery. I’m pretty sure I needed a new one when that yellow exclamation point came on a day later after driving it off the lot. I had to come outta pocket 225 dollars. I’m so disappointed. The service man that helped me with my battery on 9/20/21 was nice so that’s the only reason I’m giving you 2 stars!
My wife and I both came in on certain times looking for a vehicle and hoping to get a deal. Now on both occasions our sales man Chris Brown went above and beyond to find a vehicle for us and it was the ones we actually wanted. Unlike others he fights for the price you want and will stay there until you’re comfortable with the offer. Mike was also very helpful in financing and got us amazing protection for our vehicles because you can never be to sure. Will be getting all our future vehicles from Ancira as long as Chris Brown is the Sales man!

While the dealership was clearly busy, Craig spent the afternoon with us making sure we were well informed about all the features of the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I want to start out by saying Ive purchased many vehicles in my lifetime. I have plenty of friends who work, manage and own well- known dealerships in San Antonio. Ive owned luxury vehicles and would buy Range Rovers from the Cavender dealership. I wanted to downsize vehicles and finances since Im paying for college tuition for my basketball team of kids lol (feels like it) This dealership is BY FAR the best. Ive been fortunate to experience before and during COVID. Service is impeccable. The professionalism is insanely out of this world. The finance department does not miss ANYTHING. Ive bought new and used now. My next vehicle will be from here and with Marc Peterson. The GM Carl runs such a fantastic ship over there on Bandera. Ive gone to sister locations too and they are awesome but this dealership right here, blows everyone else away. I want to thank the Ancira family, Carls team, Marc, the service department who truly take care of me and my vehicle.
Ancira volkswagon is an amazing place to purchase a vehicle. Stephanie in sales has gone above and beyond to take care of my wife and I. I would give this place 5 starts but unfortunately, our experience wasnt ideal when it came to actually purchasing the vehicle. We had to wait at least 2 hours between deciding what we wanted and speaking with the finance manager. He was also very nice so the reflection of the experience was not with him, but rather with the amount of time we had to wait (~2 hours). Overall, would purchase from here again for my next vehicle

Facts:Sales person was great.Be prepared to have to haggle because the online posted price is not the price you are given once you are at the dealer. They have a lot of add-ons which are not disclosed until you are actually ready to close the deal. This is in no way is the fault of the sales staff but they end up having to be the middle man between the buyer and the sales managers. I would have bought the car at another dealer closer to my home but this was the only dealership which had the color and model I was looking for. Why do you do this Ancira?????

Great prices online. $3K in fees for accessories that they didnt include in the online postings and that wasnt mentioned until after they run your credit, you do the test drive, etc. Exactly the reason to avoid car dealerships.

We took my sons 2014 Jetta to have service done because it would start but has a rough idle and will stall. Service tech stated that the intake manifold failed and would need to be replaced along with the system de-carboned for over $1600.I Googled the symptoms and there was a Youtube that suggests changing the Camshaft adjuster magnet which we bought at another dealership for $150. 10 minute easy change and bingo, car runs nice! Always get a second opinion or check online for a fix before running to the dealer. Also the AC doesnt work and Ancira said it needs a new $2600 compressor and suggested my son get a new car instead. We are checking another shop for a diagnosis. See attached picture of the report.

Really one of the worse experience at this dealership, this sale person is just awful, Mr Herb, is just unprofessional. Bad demeanor, belittling customer. No greeting; him: you came last time; me in my mind : all blacks look the same.(wow) Then when I decide to don’t buy from him, from nowhere he tells me that an other salesman won’t give a better offer on my trade. He never gave me an offer just the internet offert. We never talk about trade cost, nothing close, you are unprofessional I don’t want do business with you. Then he proceeds with mean comments and me to tell me that myself deal with customers in my job. So when a salesman is so unprofessional I don’t deal with this person. Some people are just good at trying to spoil the day. I will be fine.

I would read this whole thing if I was you. It’s long but buying a car is a serious purchase and it’s great to have good people on your side.I had a wonderful experience with this business. Especially with Julie. She was my person and guided me throughout the whole process. I am a veteran who has PTSD, anxiety, and a few other diagnoses. Buying a car ranked pretty high on my anxiety list. I was afraid of being taken advantage of and not being led in the right direction. I NEVER had to worry about that with Julie. She was patient with me, always communicated effectively, and so kind. I can be quite indecisive at times and she handled it like a true professional. She actually listened to me and took the time to find everything I was looking for in a vehicle. This was completely different than any other vehicle purchase I’ve been a part of before. There was pretty much no stress with the purchase and if something stressful did try to come creeping up, Julie guided me right through it and helped me stand my ground and get what I was looking for. If Julie ever leaves Ancira Volkswagen and continues to sell vehicles, I will follow her wherever she goes. I trust her that much. She truly deserves all the promotions and awards because to be honest I’m not the easiest customer to deal with regarding my anxiety issues. But like I’ve said several times, Julie was there, professional, and on my side. I still intend to write the people in charge of Volkswagen to let them know what an outstanding person they have selling vehicles for them. Not impressed with the service! I left my ford explore that had several issues and decide to try a VW. Overseas I owned a VW and they are excellent vehicles. The sales department did an outstanding job on getting what I wanted. The first time I took my Atlas for service, it was like bad experience. first it took several minutes for them to ackwnolage that I was there! there was no other person in the area, and then I was asked what do I want! no customer service etiquette at all! Again, just recently I took my vehicle for service and the same, I told the maintenance manager that there was an issue with the airbags - his response - usually when theres a cell nearby the airbag picks up the signal - then it was that if a place a bag or computer in the passenger seat the system deactivates or activates depending on the weight. so I called VW and they said that was not correct. I cant trust a person that makes up stories and has no clue of the system. I got my oil changed and I have no idea what happened but the airbag error has not appeared again, Im guessing it need that oil change! Attention to detail is lacking in this department.
Similar to any other VW, service was kind of insane. I scheduled an appointment as I usually do, but soon realized that its a system that is possibly just in effect to make you feel like youre going to get in and out quickly. I waited a little over 2 hours for an oil change and once I saw my car ready, waited 10 minutes to get someone to notice me and get me out of there.

Bought two VW Tiguans. Ive had nothing but problems with these two cars, from electronics to transmission. Everything is cheaply made. Then they did recalls on both, and the engines keep shutting down. They tried to fix then, and today the engine keeps shutting down. I understand if I got one lemon car, but two????When you call there is never someone there to help. The people are rude and disrespectful. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Walked in ready to find a new car a woman approached me immediately and she was not slightly helpful at all. The first thing she did was show me prices based on credit and income information and basically told me I would be paying above average on any 2021 - 2020 car. I showed her a picture of a vehicle I had found online and she told me that car was not available and they didnt have anything similar after a less than three minute search on her computer. I was never told about any deals or given any options. I left shortly after and went to another Volkswagen location farther out and the first thing that other Volkswagen location did was show me deals and offers that helped bring down my overall price. That other location also had the vehicle I was looking for in stock. So if your looking for a car maybe you should try other locations first.

Sure, I did a little homework, researching which vehicle best fits our needs, but after talking to Miguel Balderas, one of the salesmen, he definitely made it a very smooth process from beginning to end. Shopping experience with Albert and Alex was great! They helped us get a great deal in the car we loved. Never felt rushed or pressured. They took the time to explain how to work all car features after the sale even though it was past closing time. Totally recommend asking for them when shopping here.
Just traded in for a 2020 Passat. This was probably the best experience car shopping that I have ever had. My salesmen Chris Brown, was very helpful and not the typical stereo type. He was definitely more intent with meeting my car needs and not just a checking a sale box. Hardly any waiting/in and out in no time. Go ask for Chris Breezy. :)

I cannot say enough great things about the excellent customer service I received from Craig Lexvold. He made the car buying experience easy and comfortable. If the review was only on him I would have given 5 stars. The manager Tom was also great.The 3 stars comes from Mike in finance. He appeared to be in a bad mood from the moment I went to his office. When I told him no to the add-ons he offered he made comments, was rude, and tried to make me feel incompetent. His pressure tactic was unsuccessful but others should be prepared for this when buying a new car.

Complete disaster...Sales representative Humberto Herb Lechuga does not by any means represent and/or displays what Ancira Volkswagen of San Antonio stands for. Mr. Humberto Herb Lechuga was unprofessional, abrasive, and sadly lacks work ethics along with GSM Javier Romero. I clearly stated to GSM Javier Romero that Mr. Humberto Herb Lechuga was unprofessional and disrespectful. His tactic is to coerce clients into signing documents that are inadequately prepared. Thus, to make matters worse...willing to take another sales representatives justly earned comission. Is not acceptable. GSM Javier Romero was notified that Humberto Herb Lechuga was of no assistance whatsoever, thus, the commission solely belongs to Alex Gonzalez.Mr. Ancira hopefully you may provide these unprofessional employees Herb Lechuga and Javier Romero with training in ethics and customer service.
