Poor communication. Driver didn’t talk much, but when he did he was extremely unprofessional and rude. You can tell the quality of training at Texas Roadside services is not a priority. If it is, the the driver did not care

I am a first time client of Rayco who was in need of an emergency repair of my wheel bearings on my truck. I walked in after working an overnight shift assuming that I would just be leaving it to be looked at and worked on sometime Monday. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was able to be repaired within a couple of hours. Other shop wouldnt even accept a drop off until Monday. Was even given courtesy ride, great experience all around, couldnt be more satisfied. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good service center.

Was patient at first, but kept interrupting when giving statement to police, very unprofessional. Started screaming angrily when I told him to write down address to take truck instead of having him take my phone. Kept pressuring to pick certain mechanic shop. Overall worse service with a towing company I’ve ever had. Worse of all I paid with card, and he refused to give me a receipt. Had to take a picture of it. Even though I paid with a debit card .

They didn’t do the service right they started arguing with me I had already paid them they didn’t wanna do the service for me they left it there & the dispatcher started cussing me out & didn’t wanna help me they said I didn’t know what I was doing & that to be quite in a really rude way

My sisters car broke down around 11pm last night and I called them to help out. They said in less than an hour they would be there and unfortunately no one ever showed up. I called at the hour and they said 30more min and they never showed. Fortunately there are other businesses out there who truly care. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. You will end up waiting for hours and no one will show.Read the rest of the reviews I made the mistake of not reading them before and it would have saved us about 2 hours.

The guy did a spectacular job and even pushed it into the uphill parking spot, he looked a little mad which I would understand, the only problem i had its that they said less than 30 minutes and it was and hour and 30 minutes, put over all it wasnt bad at all, price was 175 for 11 miles and the man had good customer service

The absolute worst. They gave me the run around for 2 AND A HALF FREAKING HOURS and then decided to stop answering my calls. First they told me 45min-1hr then 30 more min and then another 15 min and then just stopped answering my calls all together. It was even worse that it was at 2am. The worst time to have a blow out. I had to call the police because people were walking around my car and peeking in. The police were nice enough to drive me to a gas station half a mile away to wait for the tow people. I waited outside of the gas station for them for an hour just for them to not answer my calls. What kind of business is this? So unprofessional. I hope everyone stays way from them!

Very obvious that well over half of these reviews provided by Google are fake. My family’s insurance company contacted Texas Roadside Services because my younger brother and his car were stranded on the side of the road at 2:30 in the morning. After being told they would arrive within an hour to tow his vehicle, my brother wound up being stuck on the side of the road for well over 3 hours. Texas Roadside never showed up or contacted him regarding their whereabouts, and he had to rely on a patrolling SAPD officer to contact a tow truck company to get him off the side of the road. Absolutely pathetic and embarrassing on Texas Roadside’s behalf.

I am a shop owner and the driver they sent refused to drop the vehicle in place that was conducive to my business and safety of the customers vehicle. He insisted on blocking the whole driveway and shop bays. The spot I asked to have the vehicle dropped at is the safest on the property and every other tow company in town complies without a problem. I am worried this company may jeopardize the safety of other customers cars. The office staff did not seem to help either. Use at your own risk.

Texas towing changed the price the three times I ask them to verify what they charged.Nor did they call me so I could meet them where the car was.They went to tow the car but could not find it and left .They did not bother to call me that they couldnt find the car, and I waited for over an hour before I called them.I ended up using another tow company because of their poor customer service.texas tow is overrated

If you go into the location to get your car serviced, they have an excellent mechanic. He really knows what he is talking about. Price wise, its not the greatest but he will fix even hard vehicles. I get my Camaro looked at by their mechanic often.

Everything was perfect there work and friendly.

Charged me 120$ to tow my car 1/2 mile to my house from where I broke down

Towing Service was contacted by SAPD they were asked to be patient and allow me to contact my insurance to locate a nearby shop to take my vehicle the drive drove off with my damaged vehicle across the street to a repair shop. I told the drive that my insurance recommended a shop 5 min down the road he claimed that the shop down the street was not on his approved list. He wanted me to pay $175.00 for the tow. I asked for his name and requested to pay / call his dispatch. He became irate and vulgar and argued with me that he was going to leave my vehicle where it was, he was unprofessional, rude and simply wanted to bill the city or the insurance for a drive across the street. Shameful I will be contacting the city and registering a complaint with them as well.

These guys were beyond helpful when my husbands truck broke down. They made sure they were able to move both our truck and camper back to their shop, let my husband stay in the camper on their lot overnight, and got the truck into their shop and fixed first thing in the morning. Very friendly and fast service. Definitely would recommend them

We waited at the hospital parking lot from 2 pm until 8:30 pm, they kept having excuses on why they where last, finally asked us to hide the keys under the mat and Abandon the vehicle, so we did that and come this morning I called and they said they decided to cancel bc they got busy? What kind of shady business is that. Then I called them and they put me on hold for 40 min, I called from my other phone and they answered then put me on hold again.

ETA was 8:43 am, I called the company at 7:45am using the number from the roadside location map site and asked if they could come earlier. They said sure theyd be there in 45 minutes. The tow truck didnt arrive until 9:00 am. This is after I called twice for info as it was past the 45 minute mark, then past the original ETA. The second call to the dispatcher I was told the driver was on Wurzbach and 281 (a 10 minute drive to my home). Then 10 minutes later I got a call from the driver saying he was 10 minutes away. I must point out that the truck driver was a kind, professional and efficient man named Ali who provided his personal cell number if I ever need a mechanic as he also works as a mechanic in the shop. He was honestly the only redeeming part of the entire experience. I didnt get the name of the dispatcher/customer service representative who was very unprofessional, answering the phone each time with a lots background noise of and a significant delay in simply saying Hello. Additionally its important to note the number in the text message, which also provided the roadside assistance map link and was also on the side of the truck didnt work and also didnt match the one from the info provided in the roadside assistance map. Last but not least, the map didnt update with information until the driver already had my car on the truck and we were on our way to the mechanic.Again I want to commend Ali for his wonderful demeanor and exceptional speed and skill with getting the car on the truck and us on our way once he got there.Please note, I didnt choose this company, it was chosen by my insurance companys roadside assistance plan. I will definitely think twice before using THAT service again.

Horrible service. Phone calls got ignored, and no one ever answered if the calls werent sent directly to voicemail. Estimated wait time was not what I was told, and the tow truck driver was very unprofessional. If you hate your job do something else. Never again with this company. Look elsewhere.

One our later than promised. Would not answer the phone consistently as I called to get updates. When they finally answered and I asked what the status was the suggested that I cancel the tow if I wasnt willing to accept the fact that they only provided estimates, not commitments. So, yes I was unhappy when the driver came. After not being able to get the car into neutral due to electronic issues he said he was sending another driver. What he really did was call back to the office and cancel the tow. I didnt choose to use this provider, but I hope that no one who has a choice puts themselves in this position. Its probably useful to note the reviews of the other related organizations that share the name....seems like a pattern.

Waited two hours and they never showed up. Phone would ring three times and hang up on me. They told my insurance they were stuck in traffic and the maps showed the roads clear for the full two hours. I didn’t call these guys, my insurance did. They had to send someone else to come get my car. I would never recommend these guys in a million years.

I have progressive insurance and this is the provider that was assign to me for towing my car to my house .They said they would be here in 74 minutes .That time passed and not a word text message, call or anything from this company. I call progressive up they say theyre going to look into it right away while Im on the phone and then the tow truck people tell them its going to be another 45 minutes because of the fog thats non existent. They gave me a number to call and are not picking up they are not answering, they are not doing anything professional worse company the I have ever dealt with in . And my car is still not told yet.

Rayco also does car washes. I did a little training for Angel so please give him a chance.
