Very courteous staff. I came in as a walk in for a rock chip windshield repair and they got me in an out. Even called my insurance for me to assist with my claim. I didnt have to pay penny out of pocket. Definitely a trusted source for windshield repair.
I arrived on time to my appointment, which I had made almost two weeks earlier. After assuring me that everything was ready to go when I arrived, they pulled my car into the bay, and I left to allow them to complete the work. About an hour later, I received a call telling me they cant install the windshield because of a scratch on it that apparently they did not check for when they received the windshield. They then tell me someone is going to order a new one right away and to come back two or three hours later, but refused to tell me when exactly the new windshield would be ready. I left and proceeded home to wait, determined in the meantime to speak to a manager. I tried to call repeatedly for over an hour and no one would answer the phone. I had to call a different number and have someone from another location call them so I could speak to someone. Finally, I got on the phone only to find out the windshield was already there and no one had called me, well before the time they wanted me to come back. I tried to get a straight answer as to why my experience with them had been so incompetent and all I received were many many more incompetent excuses to every question. Finally, after 6 hours, my windshield was installed and I could leave. No apologies, no attempt to explain their unprofessional behavior...nothing. The only people who acted professional were the installation technicians; their professionalism is the only reason I am even leaving 2 stars. Update, my windshield wiper fluid will not work anymore. I dont know what they did to it. Update 8/21/2021 I go to my appointment that was made a week ago to replace the broken overhead console. Well apparently they needed to look at it and make sure it couldnt be fixed then order the part. I was told when I made the appointment it that would have already been done. Now I have to wait five more days before it may or may not get fixed.
Fixed my windshield twice by replacement. Replaced driver side door window as well. Easy and vehicle only in the shop 8 hours. Reliable.
They do not answer the phone. All quotes & appointments must be done online. Entered my VIN# & made appointment. I showed up. They had the wrong windshield. Said they would call me back, which they didnt. Will drive there again to find status.I replaced a windshield on another vehicle 6-8 months ago. Then, they answered phones and everything went well.Disappointed so far. More to come . . .
I dont generally automatically give a 1-star rating. I had to call multiple times and had difficulty with verification of insurance and instead of calling me to inform me that it could be out of pocket they cancelled my appointment with no regard to circumstances. It may not be their fault however having to argue with representative and not even having the option to pay out of pocket without cancellation is absurd.
This is not an actual Safelite store. They do not offer or honor the services the Safelite website lists. After having an appointment in the books with them for a week and a half. They called the night before the appointment saying that they cant do the windshield replacement and that Safelite does not service those particular windshields. Safelites website says otherwise. When I called Safelites corporate line they said well not all of our stores are Safelites, some of them were businesses we bought...
Great experience, great customer service and took much less time than I anticipated. Highly recommend. You will have to wait for the window to be ordered but thats to be expected.
Setting an appointment online is a breeze. Easy to navigate and accurate estimates given. A little pricey but then again anything related to car repairs are rarely cheap.
This team did a great job of sealing a chip. Took about an hour, in and out. Staff was courteous and I plan on using them for all my glass needs in the future

Amazing service! Had an OEM windshield replacement put on my 2020 Audi S6. Was skeptical but I was assured it would be just like the factory. Once it was installed I couldn’t tell the difference. The Audi rings were on the windshield and the heads up display works just like before. Truly exceptional service. Will be back again when needed again.
It was a fast and easy process. They took care of our window in less then 2 hours. The appointment was a week out due to other hair claims but thats out of anyones control. But definitely will recommend the service

24 Sep 2018: Safelite comes out to replace my windshield on my 2017 Audi A8L. Technician shows up with wrong part, leaves and returns later that day around 5pm. Technician removes my old cracked windshield, only to later realize that the new windshield is also cracked. Things happen, Im not happy but Im told itll be taken care of. I drive around for another week with the new cracked windshield.2 Oct 2018: Safelite comes out after I waited all day for my appointment, my time slot was anywhere between 12-6, so I was last. Technician gets to work, I go and check on him after 2 hours, only to find out that he cant remove the old windshield because the technician who came out the first time put it on wrong! I remain patient and professional while he calls the manager. Manager doesnt ask to speak to me nor does he pass on any reassuring message to me as the obviously furious customer. Im then told that my vehicle isnt safe to drive and that itll be left as is with some items put back together until tomorrow morning. I wasnt given a time so I have no idea when theyll return besides tomorrow morning. The technician thanked me for not yelling or cursing at him. I shook his hand and explained that Id be wrong to treat him in such a way. What bothers me is the lack of leadership and/or guidance from his supervision. I cant leave my home in my vehicle because of someone elses lack of attention to detail. Ive already paid $500 for a windshield Ive yet to receive nor have I received the $150 back from the initial $500, due to the first incident. At this point, Im disappointed in the service Ive received and I have now missed 72 hours of work due to this issue. Below youll find an array of photos regarding the synopsis above.Update 3 Oct 2018: Senior Technician shows up, took him about 3-1/2 hours to remove the improperly installed windshield. Finally installed the new windshield and gave me a free can of window cleaner. He apologized for the inconvenience and I was appreciative for his hard work. The Manager called hours later after I asked to speak to him first thing that morning. I chose not to return his phone call simply because if customer service was that important, he would’ve called earlier or spoke to me the day before when they left my vehicle in pieces. I’ll never go back to Safelite. The manager has shown me what Safelite stands for and it’s not leadership or dedication to service. Pay someone else your deductible.
Waited for us to get to the store to say they dont have the glass we needed AFTER I made an appointment 1 week earlier, had me reschedule for 2 weeks in the future. Terrible terrible company, horribly unprofessional
My car had two windshield cracks. Went through my insurance to get it repaired and scheduled through Safelite with their mobile service. Scheduling was easy and fast. Anniel was the tech that fixed my windshield cracks. He did a great job with the repair. He was fast and made sure I was updated with everything.
We had an appointment today that we made last week and I was without a vehicle so it would be in the designated location for the technician and within a 2 minute window I got a text that the tech was there and then that my appointment was canceled. When we inquired as to why they said our vehicle wasnt at the location. How? If it is parked and has not been moved, I had someone at the house to receive the tech and they didnt even know the technician had arrived. Appointments are 2 weeks out. Now what am I supposed to do?
I would not use Safelite or this location. They perform services without your approval. They send you a bill for the service you do not authorize and that they know the insurance wont cover 3 months later. I called the office several times and reached out to the manager too. No response only from collections. I specifically told them not to do a recalibration and they did it anyway. What a bunch of unprofessional thieves. Dont use them they will Rob you too..I have had 5 windshields replaced by insurance here and never had it calibrated here. I always get it done somewhere else and never for $500.

Last Friday, I noticed a crack on my windshield. My husband gave me the phone number to Safelite. For so many occasions, Ive heard the jingle for Safelite but this is the first time to be a customer.The gal I spoke with on the phone to assess the situation was very patient and was helpful to schedule me for the 410 location on the same day. When I got there, Adolfo determined that the crack on the windshield is larger than a dollar bill, which meant a replacement of the windshield and also a reschedule because more time is required. The team at the 410 location rescheduled my appointment for the I-10 location. Everything went smoothly.Today, Jimmy was very helpful at this location to brief me, confirm the costs, and managed my expectations. Though Jimmy said it would take about an hour to an hour and a half, the windshield replacement took less than an hour.Very impressed with the professionalism! Definitely would recommend Safelite hands down.It was helpful that Yelp also gave a 6% cash back!

I went in to have my front windshield replaced. It was done and I was told it could possibly crack due to wind but rare that it happens and if it did to bring back in being that it is covered under warranty. Right the next day I see a hairline crack start. I made an appointment for replacement under warranty. When I went in I was told it looked like I got a small hit (maybe a rock) so I would have to pay again. This upset me because this DID NOT happen. I cannot believe Safelite will not cover their work. He refused to replace and stood me if I paid again, he had the glass and it could be fixed. This warranty is deceptive and rate this Safelite a 0 on service.
Wish I could give it negative stars. I scheduled online (that was the only way I guess) and they were supposed to come Saturday from 8am to 12pm. First of all I couldnt even upload pictures. Then it was 1150 when I received an email saying AUSTIN will be contacting me about his arrival. Come 2pm I call and a girl (definitely not a woman) she apologized and said she would find out where he is and let me know. Now I am a life and medicare agent and had to reschedule 3 appts for this one appt. So I lost about 3k doing that. Not only did no one ever show up but she never gave me a call back. Absolutely worse customer service ever. Will never ever use them even for free

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this Safelite location. I received exceptional care and service for my repair. We arrived an hour before business hours and they were busy unloading and I’m sure preparing for the day, however Jimmy Ramirez still went out of his way and proceeded to help me. He went from unloading the trucks to getting me taken care of which was very unexpected, yet extremely appreciated. It saved us an Uber trip as my husband had to drop me off to work and would have left during lunch to drop off the keys. They then finished my window way ahead of schedule and he immediately informed me. Jimmy was fantastic throughout the whole process. Not only did the glass look good as new, but all the glass particles were taking care of leaving my car extra clean, and my personal items were placed safely/cleanly in the trunk. When calling to inform me that my car was ready he also mentioned that he found cash under my seats, notified me, and hid it in my car for safe keeping. After the experience of dealing with a car burglary the day prior it was such a relief to have a smooth recovery. I would highly recommend for quality glass repair and customer service from beginning to picking up my keys at the end. Thank you!

Was a little hesitant coming here from reading some of the review but made the choice to give it a try and Im glad I did. From every technician I can came across to the young lady sitting up from everyone was friendly and down to earth. They gave me an estimate time on how long it would take which was 2 hours but it ended up being only a hour or a little under a hour. Juan was my tech and he even came out to see if I wanted to get new blades. When I told him no that we just bought them not too long ago he offered to just clean them up for me to make sure I was good. Following the installation he gave me instructions on what to do and not do. Really appreciate the service and would highly recommend this place. But I suggest to go online and put all the information about your vehicle to get the correct size for your window.
I am sitting in the lobby and waiting for my car that is not going to be fixed for the second try. I originally scheduled through the only portal, and then spoke to someone that scheduled me. When the guy was suppose to show up at my house to replace the windshield, the shop had not ordered him the correct parts. He was not able to start until 6 hours after the appointment when they got him the parts. Then he discovered they had not told him the car had the computer system and had to be taken in. He helped me schedule an appointment. I showed up to the location and was not helped until twenty minutes after my appointment. They started the job and then realized the windshield they ordered was scratched. They were unable to replace. When I explained my issue with all the go around, the lady at the desk offered $60 off for having to come back. Not worth it on a $960 job. There should be a better focus on customer service. They should walk across the street and learn how Discount Tire works. They are much better.

Don’t use this place. Took my wife’s Jaguar in for a windshield. I went in prior to make sure they could get the correct one as there are numeracy choices. After being assured they could they installed the wrong windshield. Called within 15 mins of leaving with no answer, I have called customer service 10 times with no response no callback. Nothing. Horrible service
Well first off great customer service everyone was friendly and treated us well. I had just left home when an 18-wheeler was kind enough to drive on the shoulder and pick up some rocks and well my truck caught one! I was on my way to a wedding near San Antonio so I chose this one along my route. They took me in earlier than my scheduled appointment which was great and they were nice enough to fill in another two cracks I had previously filled. I thought I was lucky and caught a nice serviceman but as I sat there I saw every customer was treated the same. Good crew all around that day!

I scheduled a am installation for my back window. I was told to drop it off before 10 am and it would only take an hour. So I dropped it off at 8:30 am and they didn’t pull the truck into the shop until 4 pm, it’s now 4:40 pm. They still don’t have the old window out. The person at the front desk tell me that they actually have all day to get it done and they still have 20 minutes. Unprofessional and very careless employees, still have never seen any manager. The other customer that’s in the lobby with me they have come in and asked if his mirrors were lose before they came in because there not sure why but they are now. He’s not happy either.
Online scheduling and in-person service were quick and efficient.This weather wasnt kind to a chip in my windshield that turned to a 2 foot crack on my way to work. Safelite was able to change the glass and get me back on the road in under 2 hours.

We have had a horrible three week experience with this location. I drove an hour and a half to this location three weeks ago only to find out the wrong part was ordered. Instead of crash wrapping my van, they decided, and I agreed, to just put in the wrong window with the knowledge that I would not roll down, until the new park would get in and then it would be replaced. Fine. I drive away, and a couple hours later and picking up my son’s from baseball practice in my van door won’t open co we have had a horrible three week experience with this location. I open the door just fine that morning to show one of the repairman where some glass was, and it worked just fine. The very next time that I open the door, it won’t open. The manager at this location, after many conversations, agreed to pay half of the repair cost which was $450. We go in to get our car fixed, and boom, no phone calls returned and they decided now that they won’t pay for it. Shady shady business, and not a place I would ever recommend.
A huge rock cracked the windshield on my brand new Lexus and I was so hesitant about taking my car to be repaired. They did a great job and took the time and care to the job perfectly! All of the cameras and safety features work after the replacement. I am extremely pleased with the job they did!

These guys and gals are great! Provided excellent service in replacing FACTORY windows for a good cost. Got an estimate and couple days later they still honored it. Just to let everyone know: if you purchased a new car with Dealership options (tinted windows for example); Safelite will replace the glass with only factory window without the tint. I was there waiting and overheard two different individuals complaining that the new glass did not have tint like the old one.
Stay away at all costs! They will damage your interior when replacing windshield. USAA needs to stop recommending this place.

I did not leave a review on my 1st visit as I had scheduling problems and did not feel I would give them a fair review. I did return as my rear view mirror fell off and it needed to be repaired. They made the repair quickly and without hassle. Overall their staff seems very well trained.

I was referred to Safelite because I have had issues with my rear view mirror falling off several times in the last year whether I put it on myself or had a professional do it. I went to Safelite who put the mirror on as a courtesy (no charge). I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The mirror has held up in this Texas heat well so far and the experience at the Safelite on Silicon Drive was outstanding. Friendly staff, clean facilities and top-notch customer service. Because of this experience, I will take all my auto glass requirements to Safelite on 12914 Silicon Drive in San Antonio from now on. Highly recommended.

The online scheduling and quote was fairly simple. A call from an employee to follow up was good. Waiting around for the technician to show up for 6 hours with no call or text. This is worse than waiting around for the cable man to appear. getting worried at 5:30 p.m. with no call or text, I called the office only to find that they are closed and go through some stupid phone tree with some stupid robot. This is not helpful.
Had to get a chip sealed before moving and Safelite came through. I was able to get it fixed the next day. I had used the service before and had unexpected delay when they didnt carry my windshield even with make, model, and year provided before my appointment. They did a great job once the right windshield was delivered. I would definitely recommend them but call first to make sure they have the right windshield to hopefully avoid any delays.
Too much of s hassle to get broken window appt
We were on on a road trip and we got a chip in our windshield. We didn’t want our little chip to turn into a big crack so we stopped by to get it fixed before we continued on. Our service technician was Michael. He couldn’t of been friendlier or more professional. He was a delight to work with. The waiting room has drinks and snacks so they do try to make your waiting experience as pleasant as possible. Great place.

Incredibly nasty experience! Went in to repair a small star chip that was about half inch long and barely visible. The technician completely screwed the job and now the area is covered with big smudges and scratches. On top of it the original chip is now WIDER and has a big dab of resin over it!! I asked to talk to the manager, who apparently was at another location, and the tech claimed she was not picking up the phone. When I strongly persisted, the manager magically became available. Dealing with the manager was an even bigger shock. The manager, by name of Lauren, was an ultra-rude person. I asked to have another tech look at the mess so maybe they could salvage it, but the manager was absolutely unhelpful and basically told me chips CAN become wider in the process and there is nothing she could do about it. Seriously?? Why try to run a glass repair business if all you are going to do is make a bigger mess?
Terrible experience. Lied to about complimentary tint when scheduling appointment. This place does NOT provide window tint. They also aligned the window wrong so it made noise when rolling up and down. Not to mention the tech that redid the first techs job said the door panel had broken clips. When I expressed my concerns to the front desk to tell the manager, the manager chuckled and left for the day.
If someone sets a scheduled time with you and calls twice and texts twice to confirm that timeframe, don’t schedule an unscheduled appointment prior and then make that person that had their appointment scheduled for over a week have to cancel because thanks to you they’ll be stuck at work and in traffic and hour later than you agreed to as a company.Piss poor customer service and business.If you have multiple workers doing this, delegate that job so you won’t screw up people’s schedules! Who wants to be in a work parking lot after 6pm and have to battle traffic because of your mistake?!
Good price for a windshield replacement, and decently fast.Just wish they could fill in larger cracks, but overall my favorite.

They did a great job of quickly replacing my windshield. It didnt have the top strip of tint to match my factory glass, but I didnt have time to wait for them to order it. They offered so I cant really blame them for not having a specific piece on hand.
Lies lies lies, told me I needed my cameras on a 2016 outback adjusted $600. I called the dealership who advised safelite doesnt even have the correct software, they use an app on their phone, furthermore the cameras arnt even attached to the windshield.
This place offers professional glass replacement with reasonable prices. They even replaced my wipers to help keep my glass in good shape.
Walked in to get my rear view mirror glued back on. I went during lunch hours so I didn’t have to schedule an appointment. Got my mirror put on within a few minutes and was able to get some cracks on my windshield sealed! There isn’t much to do in the waiting area so make sure your phone is charged or bring a book/magazine.
Unbelievably fast and friendly service. I made a last minute appointment and only had to wait at the most 40 minutes for my cracked windshield to be repaired.

I had a plastic strip blow off the right side windsheild and bought a replament from my Honda dealer for $95. I was told the work fee to install the strip was $68. I took it home and tried to install the part myself. 6 days later I discovered this Safelite store. Tommy was the repairman who attached the part in less than 5 minutes! At no charge! Unbelievable service. This is now my GO TO auto glass shop.

I got a rock chip in my windshield, safelite came out and fixed it and the next day it cracked . When i called safelite they said they can replace my windshield for 500.00...... credit 68 dollars or what ever it was toward the repair. But 500.00 ?! I got it replaced else where for 150.00. My windshield has no rain sensors, lane departure, nada . Shop around before you settle with them

Poor repair of a minor star chip in windshield. It looked worse after the tech finished it. It looks like someone put clear nail polish over the crack. The tech told me there was a bubble, but assured me that all of the cracks had rein. I asked for another opinion. The manager came out and viewed it, and said it was a poor repair job. Once it’s been repaired, it can’t be redone. So now I’m in a brand new car with a piece of junk windshield. What a waste of time! The manager was very nice. Said she wouldn’t run my repair through insurance and would give me a discount on a new windshield. Thank you, but that won’t be happening. If they can’t repair a chip correctly, I shutter to think what would happen with a windshield replacement.
