Love these guys! Their install shop is highly skilled and they produce quality work. I won’t speak for 4 wheel parts anywhere else because they seem to be hit and miss but the shop in salt lake off redwood road is amazing and I trust them with anything that has to do with my truck! 5 stars for sure! Awesome show room. If it doesn’t get you jacked up to throw something on your truck or jeep I don’t know what will. Lots of wheels tires lights bumpers winches to look at great variety of parts. Wouldn’t hesitate to come here to buy parts for my personal truck. Lots of different lights on display that you can touch and turn on and brighten your life

They installed a Raceland 2 lift on my 16 crosstrek. It gave me enough clearance to clear the bridge to the cabin and never hit or scrapped blazing down the mud pits and dirt road either.

Despite there being only one other customer in the shop I wasn’t even greeted or acknowledged in any way. The selection of accessories and parts is very underwhelming and a disappointment in addition to the lack of customer service. Presumably explains why there was only one other potential customer there at the time of my visit. They do not seem to be aware that there are other reputable shops in the area that actually try to earn your business and do a great job that they are competing with.

4wp is really bad, tried to call in to see if some suspension i ordered had arrived and I was put on hold for 20 min. I hung up and called again and then they put me on hold again.. waited another 10 min then finally they answered. They told me the kit was not in but would be in the following morning. Called in the following day to check and see if the kit arrived and same thing.. put on hold. Decided to drive up and just pick it up. When I got there they told me it would be the next day and they didnt have it.. Called in the following day and same thing again, put on hold. Customer service is bad, they need help. pickup

I needed more clearance due to purchasing wheels with an offset that caused some rubbing under the wheel well. I needed a cost effective fix for this issue and the staff at 4 Wheel parts recommended some great options ! I went with Bilstein adjustable 5100’s front and rear struts. Once the staff mounted the struts they called and recommended other cost effective options in helping level out the rear, due to having a heavy rack on the back. I went with the added leaf. I am pretty stoked how it all came out. Great work guys.

Order was not ready when I was promised. Nothing could be done to help my situation. The CSR Ryan did nothing to help. The only thing I am impressed with was how many excuses he could come up with.Not the first time 4WP has put me in this situation.I cannot even imagine dropping my vehicle off to them. Their customer service killed any confidence I had in this company.Cant wait to get the automation reply to this review that says email the SLC team directly and reference this review Why would I reach back to them when the customer service was terrible the first time.

I am going to start this by telling you how much I hesitate dropping my rig off to be worked on. Most of what I do I have done myself.With that in mind I purchased some amp steps from 4 Wheel Parts and had them install them. When I picked up my truck I looked under it and every wire was perfectly placed, secured, and ran to look like stock hardware. Honestly I have done this type of thing my whole life and I could not have done a better job.I am very happy I took it to them and looking back super happy they did the work.The best compliment I can give them is, I am taking it back to have the last personal job I did re-done by them.

I stopped by their store to look at some lights for my 13 Raptor. One of the sales guys named Alex showed me some options, then recommended the Ridgid pod lights to add into my bumper and was able to order a custom bracket that allows the pod lights to bolt into the factory fog light location. I also mentioned to him that I want to add 37s to my truck but I did not want to have to change out my fox suspension, he was very knowledgeable with my factory fox suspension and recommended a lift that would retain my factory suspension and allow for 37s.I was very pleased with the customer service and the knowledge of the sales team, they made me feel reassured about purchasing the right lift kit and lights for my vehicle.The only one thing I could recommend to new customers is that you do need to be patient when you visit the store, they did have a line of customers that took about 15 minutes and have phones ringing off the hook but the sales team is very polite and did a great job at helping everyone.Very excited for my lift kit and lights and will be shopping here again.

Disappointing service. Had arranged to have a new roof rack installed on my truck. About 2 weeks prior to planned install date, talked with one of their employees for ~15 minutes, took down all my info, said he was scheduling the install. Then I called to confirm the day before planned install, and they had nothing in their books for my appt. I get it, stuff happens and scheduling software screws up, but the guy I talked with basically said I was wrong and must never have made the appointment, and that they couldnt possibly do anything to get me in for at least two weeks--then seemed annoyed that I wasnt sure I wanted to wait that long. Tracked down another shop, Legend 4x4 in SLC, and they got me in within 5 days and did an awesome job, communicating well the whole time. I dont remember the last time Ive actually written a review for anything, but the service was so poor, and the difference in the attitudes at Legend 4x4 so significant, I felt I should in case it helps someone else in the future.

Cool 4x4 shop. Lots of fun stuff for my YJ square headlight JEEP. Ill be back for some accessories.

I came here to have a pair of offroad pod lights installed on my truck with hood mounted brackets for my road trip to Texas and its many backwoods roads. I had these installed on June 16th and left on the 19th to Texas, when traveling through Colorado and came upon some weather I found that my drivers side wiper blade arm had been bent and damaged at the base near the mounting area. I have no idea how this managed to become so badly damaged and had to wait a few hours in horrible weather off the side of a highway because of the damage to the wiper assembly. Tried calling into the store only to be hung up on telling the gentleman who I told what my call was regarding. Had to have the wiper assembly replaced which put me out another $300 dollars. I want some help with this problem please!! I am very dissatisfied with the work and ethic used!

Had a missing center cap, the guys were able to order in a matching one and the price was right too. Only complaint was I didnt get a call to say it was in and I could cover pick it up.

Horrible customer service, spent over 20 min in there waiting for assistance and nothing. Asked a guy for help and he said one sec so I waited another 10 min and still no help so I walked out. Out of 4 workers someone should be able to assist me or even say welcome in.

Very knowledgeable technicians I would say they are probably the foremost experts on four-wheel drive vehicles in the valley. The only thing that can get hurt here is your wallet, and its worth it! Dont buy junk! Quality lasts, youll be glad you did it.

The employees at this store need some major customer service training. Also, the website doesnt seem to ever give any updates on shipping. You get emails saying the manager will call you to set up an appointment to get your items installed, but never got a call. When I called them, sure enough my parts had been sitting there. I hate to be that guy, but people need to know what theyre in for.

Very knowledgeable helpful customer service! Great prices! The reason for only 4 stars is because i bought tires an the warranty is only good for the 2 stores. I had a flat a week after buying. I called an was told they didnt have time to fix it. After talking to them for a few minutes they fit me in. A couple months later I was camping an some how 2 of my valve stems started leaking when I placed my trailer on the truck. I called in an was then again told they didnt have time to fix it. Again after talking to them they fit me in the next day. I will continue to shop there but never again will I buy tires from them. I only have one vehicle an dont have time to schedule appointments to have tires fixed. Tire shops you pull in an most you wait is an hour. This place needs to figure something out so they can help the unexpected emergencies with tires!

Have bought online a couple times and wasnt exactly what I was expecting so I had a chance to go into a store and the lack of knowledge and answers is unreal and if I or any of my coworkers acted the same way they did with customers we would probably be extremely close if not get fired dont recommend at all can get same if not better accessories for cheaper with other companies

Amazing place!

I would never recommend this place. I ordered an item on their website that stated Ship to store and purchase before 3pm to be available to pickup the following business day so I went ahead and placed the order. Called the next day to check if it was in yet. The person I spoke with said its in transit but will be ready tomorrow. So I said Great! I dont mind waiting one more day my appointment to get the parts installed was that next day. So I dropped my truck off at the mechanic and he went ahead and removed the old parts and I told him I would have the new one this afternoon. Well I called and 4WP informed me the item will not arrive for MONTHS!! So now my vehicle is not drivable until I get this part which is not possible to find anywhere else. So thanks guys now I will have to get a tow truck to pickup my immobile truck and drop it off at my house to avoid paying storage at the mechanics. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Terrible first and last experience.

This place is great! Awesome service, the staff is very helpful.They quoted us less than half of the dealership price to install a lift kit on a Tacoma. Plus, they were able to get us in within a week, while every other place we got a quote was out at least two weeks. While they do have a focus on Jeeps, they can do everything.Highly recommend! Great, fast, reliable service thats very competitively priced.

Helped my friend get his 4Runner leveled on Bilstein 5100 shocks. Added some new Procomp Wheels and AT Tires too. Love the look and rides better than stock. Great parts and service!

Was having an issue with one of my KO2 tires, after speaking with customer service at BF Goodrich they directed me here for a assessment of my tire. 4wheel Parts wanted nothing to do with me and told me to take a hike. Considering my experience I would not support these guys next time I have to get some off road tires or other parts.

They do great work. Bought a new bumper and had them install it. I will be buying a lot more stuff from them

Got abruptly placed on hold by one of their guys who didn’t wanna figure out how to help me the next guy who picked up did.

I went in not knowing exactly what Type of loft I wanted for my Tacoma. They showed me different options and helped me understand what lift would be best for my truck. Installed it perfectly for a great price.

There website said the part was in stock available for pickup at this location. Not only did they not have the part they dont stock it. They said they would have to order it from the factory and didnt know how long that would take.

Had these guys replace basic lamps on headlights and fogs to led, which also included k&n air filter upgrade. Riverton Chevy is where I purchased my Tahoe from 2020, and after calling them multiple times to ask about getting more brighter lights, the only option they were giving me was a $4000.00 conversion kit 😂. The people here are definitely experts of their trade. Thank u very much !

I visited this store because they had an awesome custom 4x4 built by the Diesel Bros. in the front of the store. I was immediately uncomfortable because only one other person in the store was wearing a face mask. I guess the others dont know that about 1 in 50 persons has, or has had, this contagion in SLC. It currently is a class B misdemeanor to violate this mandate in Salt Lake County and Summit County. Being cool counts for NOTHING if you are sick and spreading disease. I got out of there because I dont appreciate careless people and careless management.

Good location and the store is well kept. Most the people at the front desk are relatively helpful and friendly. The reason for not 5 stars is there’s one front desk guy who will do the job but doesn’t go any further above than what is required. Basically, he doesn’t seem to want to be there or interact with customers at all. I can’t rate the shop as I haven’t had any work done but from a mechanics perspective it’s a well kept shop and the equipment looks decent.

First looked here for some Bilstein 5100s for my 4Runner and they were $100+ above competition so i got those elsewhere (Stage 3 Motorsports). About a week ago I ordered a small part and had it shipped to store to avoid the $8 shipping. They emailed me yesterday saying it delivered to the store, drove 35 minutes there and the guy at the counter said it wasnt there and sounded like they hadnt even placed the order to their manufacturer. The salesman then tells me it likely wont even ship for another week or so then will arrive 2+ weeks after the order date and Id have to drive up again. Asked to have it re-routed to my home and he cancelled the order completely and handed me a receipt. After stating I just wanted to get it re-routed he looked at me like a deer in the headlights and didnt know how to do that. I said forget it and bought off amazon with their part # straight from the manufacturer for the same price and will get here tomorrow. Dont waste your time with these guys.

Didn’t even bother to come in. I called to ask about a replacement tire for a 2020 Kawasaki Teryx at someone’s suggestion that they may have them in stock, and the guy who answered the phone was rude from the get go. Asked the tire size I gave it to him asked the rim size I said I wasn’t sure. He basically laughed and said “well that’s pretty important”. I had called two other tire shops who said “let me look that up for you so we get the right size”. Way better service, I also own a jeep and will NEVER even bother looking here first for anything we need for that.

Great guys great products ! If you own a Jeep this place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Updating this review because we finally got our tent after nearly 4 months of waiting and zero communication on their part despite us calling every week for updates. ordered June 2nd, was told it should be delivered within 3 weeks, and it arrived today, September 23rd. over 16 weeks after ordering.this place is very disappointing. we ordered a VERY EXPENSIVE truck tent through this shop and it has been over 10 weeks when we were told it would take 2-3 weeks. we have called multiple times and have been told it will be here in 2 weeks, it will be here next week, it will be here on wednesday, it will be here on friday and now we’re told it’s going to take even longer? terrible customer service. we spent a LOT of money and the least they could do is be honest about when we should expect what we ordered. especially since we have had to plan and change trips around this because we were lied to multiple times. our summer plans were practically ruined. we were expecting the tent at the end of june and we’re halfway through august and they still have no answer for us about when we will have our tent. the least they could do would be to offer a discount at this point.

Always fair prices and good service. It takes a long time to schedule you vehicle in; but that’s because of their good name!

These guys are amazing! I had a bunch of things done to my jeep and they did it all within a day for me! We had a little bit of a miscommunication on the tow hitch install but they were more than happy to install it quickly even an hour after they were already closed! They did an amazing job and were able to give me the Jeep I wanted! I will continue to be back and get things done through them!! Definitely recommend going to 4 wheel parts for any of your vehicle needs!

I had the death wobble. They diagnosed it. They came up with stabilizer, drag link, alignment and front rotor with brake pads. All were accurate assessments. They replaced the stabilizer, drag link and did alignment. The death wobble is completely gone. I tested it on a horrible road with lots of bumps going 60 mph and handled perfectly. Steering is tighter but still easy to turn. The rotor and pads will be replaced by my brother who is a mechanic. Costs were very reasonable. I am impressed.

They rebuilt my transaxle for a very reasonable price. Other shops just wanted to replace for a lot more money. I highly recommend them.

What a selection! If you are into off road and tricking out your truck these guys have it all, and most of it is in stock, so no waiting. Bought a winch and they even helped me load it in my truck and they were super busy. Also, they noticed the truck I was driving and made great suggestions as what to add to take it to the next level. Lots of displays so you can really get a look at what you are buying. Extremely knowledgeable staff. These guys build their own stuff, so they can totally help with your project. Pull out the plastic because you are going to want to spend it here!!

Honestly, I had a great experience working with 4WP. They installed A 4 lift and mounted some tires for my jeep. Apon expedition I can see all the little extra thing they did: painting my frame and marking all bolts/screws. Its these little details why I recommend 4WP. Jeezy runs like a champ!Also getting everything moving on the front end was great too. The two gentlemen I dealt with where helpful and honest, I will definitely be working with them on future projects.

Helped us on or trip trip to Idaho! Thought we needed one part and ended up we needed another. So they saved us money and time! Thank you

Guy in the phone told me I had an appointment to get my tires done at 8:00 I get to the store and nobodys there they dont open till 9:00 then Im told Im waiting 2 hours to get my tires done I used to work in a tire store a 2-hour wait time would have got me fired I didnt even get an apology I wont be back unless its to piss on their door

Have brought my truck to these guys a few times over the years, and they have always been very helpful with aftermarket install/service and have access to pretty much everything out there for your truck/jeep. Its nice to hear form them the brands and makes that they have had good success with, those that tend to wear or break, and brainstorm with them on the parts and accessories that make the most sense for what you are seeking.

I went in to this location looking for a 3 lift my my older Jeep. The gentleman that helped me was great. He asked me the purpose of the lift and overall what I wanted to gain. He got me into a lift that fit my needs for a great price. To top it off, they ordered it in and had it the next day for pickup. Very good service.

Over 4 hours to replace two leaf springs, charging 130 dollars an hour I can see why they take so long . The person sitting with me is here just to have tires put on and been the same amount of time . Then they want to try and tell me the parts I ordered off the website that they list for my vehicle are wrong but can custom make some u bolts for 90 dollars . For real though 4 bolts holding on the leaf springs and it’s been 4 hours ..... 130 a bolt must be nice

These stores are such an overpriced “bro” shop. unfortunately they had the lowest local price on a part i needed and i braved it anyways. and no surprise but their guy was not wearing a mask at all while helping and talking to customers.

Went into the store for the first time there were 4 sales people behind the counter with 1 person being helped stood around for 10 minutes waiting to be helped I have and new truck and was looking to purchase tires fender flares running boards bed cover all in all couple of thousand dollars worth but couldn’t get anyone to help me walked out after the 10 minutes not impressed won’t go back

Ordered new tires for my lifted truck and scheduled to have them mounted and balanced at the shop. Guys were friendly and service was completed quicker than expected. Will shop here for accessories and parts in the future.

I accidentally ordered the wrong wrack for my van. They started up the return process, no problem. The main customer service guy knew I really wanted this rack to work. He called me after hours and had some recommendations. I was very impressed that he went over and beyond. Great experience.

Just want to take a moment to say a few words. Took my truck in to have some work done last week. 6in lift, cold air intake, fender flares, new rubber and steel. Not only did they do an amazing job they kept me informed as to the progress and answered all my questions. Not once did I feel pressured to buy more than I wanted or needed. I told them what kind of look I was going for and schooled me every step of the way to achieve that look. Thank you for a job well done and I will most definitely be doing business with 4 wheel parts again.

Told me to go back to the dealership, waste of time

Their product availability is great but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The man at the counter treated me as if he could care less whether I bought anything there or not. I could have ordered the same kit on line for the same price they quoted me even after I had to pay for the shipping. The next time I need something Ill buy it on line instead of driving the 40+ miles to pick it up from them.

HELD HOSTAGE!After calling around for the repair I needed, it sounded like these guys would be the most cost effective. I was told my repair would take about 30 minutes. So I opted to wait for the repair. An hour and a half later they came in to let me know the manufacturer shipped them the wrong part, but they could get the right part in town for 3 times the cost. They also mentioned it would take another 30 minutes. I have now been here for 3 hours and have no idea what is going on with my Jeep. Having to take a half day off work was far more expensive than it would have cost to have the repair done at the dealership.

This is a great place to get 4wd parts and accessories. I have gotten things here for years and am very happy with the quality and selection they have available. They have stood behind the products I have gotten from them and they have lots of choices.

These guys are great! Ryan and the service manager went above and beyond after my Toyota dealer made some large mistakes. They took care of me right away and super friendly. Will definitely be going back for any future needs!

Wasnt too busy. Several customers were inside but still got immediate help looking for a couple items to be ordered. Ive been is this store on multiple occasions in the past and staff have always turned out pretty friendly.

Dont bother buying your parts here. A couple years back I came into the store to replace my Jeep yj tie rod linkage, ended up selling me the wrong parts and had to limp back into the shop on a tie rod that was to long.Here I made my second mistake by choosing to pay them for labor to swap it with the correct tie rod- WHICH IVE NOW DISCOVERED THEY INSTALLED BACKWARDS.-Even my stock linkage was to difficult to put together correctlyNot only are the guys at the counter clueless but I wouldnt recommend trusting anyone in the garage with your rig either. Terrible experience that has proceeded to following me years later.

Took a completely disassembled Chevy front diff for a review to replace a few washers and shims and rebuild.Quoted up front $300-400.3 days later I was called and told it would be $999. I was told I could come pick it up and pay. I flipped and told them to keep the diff. Later they said oh there was a billing error and we fixed it. They asked me to come down and take a look at what was done and well figure out the price then.I went down and was shown into the shop. After they explained that they were going to charge me to remove and replace the diff from my truck i reminded them that I had brought it to them after removing it. DUH! Later they told me that they had replaced spider gears (completely unnecessary) and ported the oil pickup (I didnt ask for that either!) after explaining AGAIN that I wanted the bearings and races replaced the price went down to $600... Resignation set in and I paid them. They explained that it was sealed and would never leak .Later I picked up the differential and took it home.When I got home I found that they had not replaced the shims or washers, so I begrudgingly called the Chevy dealer and purchased them.I put the differential back in and took it for a drive it sounded rough, but it seemed better than before.One month later and the front diff is leaking along the sealed seam very badly and taking corners at 10 MPH sounds like the front end will explode. Im going to take the diff out again, but I suspect that the gears and bearings are already shot.This place offers no guarantees on service and will screw you (through incompetent work, or downright maliciousness!!)Find another shop negative 100 stars and should be shut down.

Worked with me to get the wheel/tire setup I was looking for at a great price. Upfront and honest about the service I was getting, however the lack of support which would be received at a typical tire shop (unless I agreed to the $130 tire warranty) is a bit disappointing. Overall a great spot with knowledgeable and friendly sales staff.

I was quoted 300 for these guys to install arb locker that I already owned in a striped down axel I wanted just the arb carrier installed I would finish everything else up at home including drilling and tapping housing for air line... a couple of days later I load everything up and take it down and they change there price to 1000 the sales guy explanation is limited slip carriers are 300 but arb carriers are a 1000....a carrier is a carrier you bolt the ring gear to it and shim the proper tolerances to the pinion gear.......beware of what these guys quote over the phone when you show up the price might increase 3 times

Great place. A little pricey on lifts but they do for sure back there warranty. We bought an extended warranty on our stage 2 pro comp lift and the rear shocks failed. They replaced them 100% no charge. Thanks Ryan and shane

I had the worst experience dealing with customer service. I ordered a part and because my billing address was different from my shipping address it was delayed BY TWO WEEKS with no email follow up. I finally called and they told me the problem. I tried to reach out to someone to help me resolve the issue. I called maybe 10 times in one day an waited cumulatively almost an hour. I had to guess extensions until I reached a real human. Turns out I could have just driven to the store to get my part instead of waiting nearly three weeks to replace my shocks. Awful service, no response, and no communication 👎.I would have been better off buying on Craigslist.
