Outstanding service! They fixed my Scag in less than 15 minutes. It was an emergency! My little girl was having a birthday Party and I really needed to mow for the party. So thankful for OPE and staff for helping me out in my time of need! I bought my SCAG for them in 2011. Its really been a great mower and its still going strong!

So I just left from picking up my weedeater after it was there for nearly 2 weeks. I called several times over the past 2 weeks to check on it. I even called an hour before deciding pick it up only to hear the lady still say hes looking at it right now. I show up and the man that initially took the weedeater walks off, and the lady said the weedeater isnt done, I doubt it was ever even looked at. (Also, it would have been nice to be greeted as a customer when I walked in, just saying). I get that businesses are busy but there was no one in the store when I was in there--no business is busy every hour of the day. I received very unprofessional, unkind, and inefficient service. I plan to recommend all my clients & family to NOT use this business. Seems like they give priority to whomever they decide, not every customer like it should be. 🤷🏾♀️

The people here are kind and friendly but I couldnt count the times I have gone into this store looking for a part just to wait to see if they have it. They usually dont have it but can order it at a much higher than average price. I highly suggest going to Edellmans down the street first.

Have been bringing my Toro lawn mower here for a couple of years. This year I did the same for regular service. Was told it would be a week to complete the work. Had not heard anything from them so at a week and 1 day I stopped by to check on the mower. Was told they have not even looked at it yet, they were swamped and it would be done in a day or 2. I understand that, but then dont tell me it will be ready in a week. It was what it was, didnt get any call the the next day or the day after that, obviously a day or 2 turned into 2 weeks. I finally got a call saying it was done. I went up to get it. The bill was $150, which I was fine with. Asked the lady, whose business it was, if they could possibly do something on the price given the week delay. She said, thats the standard price for the work done. I got my mower and loaded it, went back inside and told her I couldnt believe she wouldnt even knock $20 off the price for the inconvenience, she said to be with lack of any concern or care, I didnt buy the mower here. I told her thats right because I didnt need a $9000 of mower, she said well we have other nice mowers. I said there were plenty of other lawn mower businesses, here was not the only one. All I got was a blank I could care less stairWell let me tell you, I WONT be giving them my business EVER again, and when it comes time to buy a new mower it sure as hell wont be from them! Her lack of respect and concern for a customer is beyond miserable, pathetic and piss poor! She obviously could care less about customer service never mind the fact that I dont believe she has ANY concept of what it is or what it means! Based on what she said about me not buying my mower there, the only ones who, I presume, get quality customer service are those that do, but then again after talking with several folks, they all say the same thing, she can care less. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OR TAKE ANYTHING THERE!Needed to update my review, had the lawn mower back 3 weeks, mowed yesterday for the 3rd time, and again the deck was out of wack, when I checked it appears that Outdoor Power Equipment idea of fixing the deck was placing 2 zip ties on it...,WTF! As far as service dont really know if they did it given that when I checked further, the positive battery terminal has corrosion on it! I wish I can post pics showing it all.
Im am an owner of a local roofing and construction company. We use all kinds of different gas powered equipment. They have always been able to help me with service and major repairs. Its always fast, friendly and even when I brought them a commercial generator that would have cost more to repair than replace they were professional enough to let me know instead of wasting my money. I have been doing business with OPE 25 years and recently had my Scag mower serviced. The mower was picked up by a mannerly, intelligent young man and returned to me within 3 days. I highly recommend OPE and consider the staff above reproach for timeliness, honesty, and good products.

This place is a joke. Very unprofessional, treated me like a nobody. Give me a 2 week minimum on my scag turf tiger and it was 2 months. Charged me $1385 for 2 seal kits for wheel motors and a radiator from Tailand, that was supposed to come from kohler. Wouldnt answer the phone after a month. And couldnt leave a voicemail because the # wasnt set up for it. Brought the mower home and the hydro pumps were so out of sync it wouldnt steer straight. And after mowing for 1 hr. The right wheel motor started leaking fluid again. I dont never write bad reviews or like to bash people,but Im writing this to warn people of this shady business.Ive never been treated this bad from any kind of business. The owner is rude and doesnt care if your a customer or not. I got ripped off,but they will never get me again. They dont deserve 1 star but its the lowest I could give.!

We found this company to be very unprofessional and not in a hurry to accomplish anything. We brought in our mower blades to be sharpened/replaced and were told it would be done at the end of that week. After checking in at the end of that week they informed us that they werent ready.They made no attempt to contact us and let us know when to expect our part to be ready, and over a week went by. My fiance finally stopped by after a week and a half only to find that the work had not even been started.Not even an apology or explanation was offered. Needless to say we will take our business elsewhere.UPDATE: I was recently contacted by the Office Manager from this company, given a full apology and offered a free blade sharpening. We had a pleasant discussion regarding the incident and I definitely feel that the company is doing what they can to make it right. I have readjusted my rating accordingly since I feel that they are working to correct this issue.
Had a bad experience with them several years ago and just had another one. Ordered a part and was told Id get a call but after almost 3 weeks no one called. Yes I should have called but when they said they had to wait until they had more than 1 item to order I just thought maybe it was taking longer. I finally called and was told it was there but when I asked why no one called I got silence..no apology ..nothing...just well its here with an attitude. If it were not for this being for someone else I would not have ordered through them and I will never again.

Do business with this company ONLY if you want to be cheated and treated like totally unimportant CRAP instead of a customer. Three weeks ago I took a lawn tractor in for repair and was told (in writing) that the projected pick-up date was 2 days away and that they would call me as soon as the repairs were complete. A week later, I had not heard a word, so I called THEM. I was told they had ordered a belt and it would be another 3 days before my tractor would be ready and that they would call me as soon as it was. NO CALL FROM THEM AT ALL. Finally, after a total of 2 weeks, and after I had to call them several more times, I was told it was ready for pick up. When I went to get it, I was overcharged for work that was not authorized. When I got the tractor home, I started to mow the yard...the tractor went 10 feet, the gas pedal went all the way to the deck without engaging and a burning smell and smoke poured out from under the mower. I re-loaded the tractor and took it back to the company. What it was now doing, it had not done before it was taken there in the first place, so they had done something to cause this new problem.On taking it back the second time, again I was given a projected date of 2 days for the repair and told I would be called. Over a WEEK later, no call from them whatsoever, and after I had to call them twice, the tractor is still not repaired and the company is assuming no responsibility for what they did to it to cause this second set of problems and is wanting much more money to fix what they messed up the first time.Under no circumstances will I ever use this company for service again, and I certainly would not buy any equipment from them. They are totally unprofessional and uncaring in their relationship to customers. They do not even deserve the 1 star I have given them, but that is as low as this site will go.Do yourself a large favor and do not waste your time and money with this company.

I just left this facility, and Ill never go back there again to buy anything. I stood in their showroom for at least 15 minutes look at euipment, and no one even spoke to me or ask me if I needed any help! Pathetic! So I proceeded to walk out and no one still spoke or asked if I needed any help. I was going to buy a new Stihl trimmer and Backpack Blower, but Ill take my business elsewhere!

I bought my simplicity from here in 2010 i went there on 6-20-16 took a drive belt pulley showed him what i needed he order wrong one looking at it part came in 6-24- 16 wrong he could care less i got my money back he could have said sorry or something i could tell he hates his job sorry for this business that may be why there not a simplicity dealer anymore
