My wife went into the Salisbury Verizon location yesterday to have her phone looked at. The employee had her phone for a few minutes and she said he seemed nervous the whole time sweating and shaky. She took her phone back to go out to the car and get her ID and when she unlocked her phone her hidden photo album was open. The employee went into her photos and opened her hidden photos album and was snooping through her private pictures. When she called and told me what happened I immediately left work and went to the store. When I got there I asked to speak to the manager and explained to him what had happened. He shrugged the situation off like I was crazy for making that accusation and said theirs nothing he can do about it. I made it very clear that that album was not opened on accident and anyone that has an iPhone will know that you have to open the photos and scroll all the way down to find it. Those photos are very personal and my wife was highly upset about the situation. There is no telling how many women he has done this to in the past and he continues to get away with it. I have since spoken to the police department and will be pursuing this 100%. VERY DISAPPOINTED and angry how unprofessional the employee and manager were. 110% do NOT recommend this store!!!!

I mean yet their prices are a little high, but you go to T-Mobile and you just get a bunch of dropped calls and garbage service. The people at Verizon are very chill and patient. Make sure you get everything explained in detail. Associates at store will tell you partial truths in order to make a sell. Associate lied to my face about being able to trade in my device to switch phones. Was never told about the additional cost to switch within that thirty days. Very unhappy with this situation and dont plan on staying with this carrier for long. Only had the contract for a week and already encountering lies.....not a good sign for the longevity of this relationship. Would give negative stars if Google allowed it!

My dad went in to add two lines to his plan and Judith was the employee who “helped” him do so. She totally messed up the activation and now came back the next day to fix and have been here over an hour . Judith really needs to take her time with customers and make sure she does her job correctly. It really has been a huge inconvenience for my dad . Thankfully a young man Jeremy has been very patient and helpful trying to fix the situation.
Have been waiting for over an hour with only two people working with customers and one man just literally typing names and numbers into an iPad for a wait list. Line of customers out the door and in the parking lot waiting. Freaking ridiculous and then you also cannot get customer service to fix their mistake. Totally disappointed in Verizon, would not recommend.
I dont usually write reviews but customer service from big organizations has gone to hello I hope you get my drift. Why couldnt Sully from Verizon who claimed to be a manager not have the ability to exchange a wrong charger sent to me from Verizon via Fedex?. Was told by Sully if he made the exchange it would cost me because of some bs he made up. The charger in my possession was already paid for. What makes the name Verizon different if it comes from Fedex or if it comes from you local Verizon store? Verizon has had the worst customer service since the pandemic than any Ive seen. If Verizon is not going to service their customers at the local stores, close them. I will tell you what Verizon is good at, and that s debiting my account every month for $341.. Shame on me for staying with this company.
I spent hours at att&t for them to tell me id have to put a $300 trade in and $800 down on a phone, with great credit. I left and came into verizon and within 15 mins i was setting up my new iphone. I was super impressed with this place and their cool workers who helped me out

I know vastly more about the products than they do, and now theyre closed seemingly all the time. This has recently caused a lot of issues getting new phones as UPS delivered the WRONG persons phone to us, and doesnt care. Had to try to have them shipped since the other locations are basically an hour away and this one likes to be closed randomly.EDIT: Verizon responds, and they dont use remotely the correct name. This pretty much sums up my experience with Verizon.
Went into the Salisbury, NC store recently on a Friday. Service was great. Was greeted instantly at the door due to Covid-19. (Great Covid-19 protocols). Adrianna helped me greatly and was very knowledgeable. Phone I wanted was not available in-store. Ended up with an order that was supposed to be shipped out overnight, according to the receipt and the info on My Verizon and the store manager (Adriannas boss). I ordered on Friday through the store and my new phone was supposed to be received at my home on Saturday. However, according to the FedEx tracking it was in Charlotte at the FedEx center on Saturday, but would not arrive at my home in Salisbury till Monday. I called Verizon customer service on Saturday and was told that they did not schedule residential deliveries on weekends, thus it was scheduled for Monday. Verizon customer service said that the store should have explained that to me and not promised overnight for a Saturday. So my phone is sitting 20 miles away at the FedEx warehouse, but wont be delivered to my home till Monday, due to Verizon policy. I dont blame Adrianna, she was great. Why cant a company as large as Verizon do overnight on weekends like other large companies. Only 4 stars.
Im not a Verizon customer and will not be one after visiting this store. They make you feel like your are visiting a prison, they have a security guard ordering you around as if you are doing them a favor. They have no stock and the staff are rude and dont seem to care.
This is actually a review of Verizon customer service. I am unable to leave feedback in any other forum as Verizon has blocked this. I am being charged $140 to change my billing date 4 days but was not informed of any financial changes at the time I made the billing change. I have made 3 calls to Verizon customer service with no resolution. Someone from Verizon please contact me through the app to resolve this! If no action is taken, I will be forced to escalate the matter.
Went to upgrade my phone at the Salisbury store. Was happy to see someone who spoke Spanish. Hector was the person who greeted me. He was kind knowledge able person. Thank you for helping will recommend my friends to see you sir.
Just went in to pick up phone I ordered day before. I asked for some other things for my phone, they told me I would have to go to another store to get what I wanted. So I sure will not ever go back there.
The worse customer service I have had to deal with since I have dealt with Verizon. The assistant wouldnt touch or help me with my phone. I was going to buy a new one but they wouldnt let me touch or hold one. Assistant acted as though she could care less about us. I went over to T Mobile and Customer Service was far better. Verizon has lost their Customer service at this store. After reading many other reviews I see I am not the only dissatisfied Customer. I have been a Customer for 18 years.

The lady didnt know any info of phones and how they were different . She didnt seem interested in helping us or know what she was selling. We definitely understood the covid situation but we were looking to change over service. She said phones were buy one and get one but didnt know what the phones were that were part of it. I work in customer service everyday and retail she was not interested in helping her customers.

Went to get new phone sales lady was very rude when asking questions. I asked her if I could take my Sim card out of my android phone and put in an iPhone to work. Because I just broke the screen in my phone and needed one immediately. She told me it would not work and I had a feeling she was lying so I decided to come home and try my Sim card in my wife’s iphone and low and behold it worked just fine. So because of our bad experience we decided to switch to sprint were we have much better customer service.

I didnt know what to expect when I visited the store. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were able to see me immediately, set expectations of what they could and couldnt do, and made me feel like they were doing the best to take care of me while keeping us safe.

Went to upgarde to a new s20 note and Héctor helped me. He was very pleasant and patient with me. This was the best experience I had with verizon, I was worried that i was just gonna get my phone and not get any help...but héctor put me at ease. Horrible. They will not tell you on the phone, but you can not go in for anything. They refuse to help you and tell you to do everything online. When it doesnt work, they say try again. They are only there for you to pick up a phone after the disaster of trying to naviagte their site. Good luck if you expect help.

Went to pay bill, when receipt printed it could not be read. Was told I would receive a notice via email, when I showed the email stating a $20 payment on a credit card I pointed out I had paid a much larger amount by check on their automated payment system they indicated I should check with my bank and see if the payment went through then made a comment about technically, some times these things happen. I could contact customer service by call 611.
I had a very pleasant experience today. Joe was very helpful and I was out the door with my new phones very quickly. Thank you.
Excellent service but high prices
I have been with Verizon for a very long time. I am not happy with the Samsung 10S 5G. It has to many problems & I have spent too much time over the phone to get them resolved. Most of the people I have dealt were knowledgable & helpful but the person who helped me at the Verizon store yesterday was not a very happy person. He gave me the impression that he disliked the fact he had to help me. You need to check your phone to make sure you are on your wireless network & that your phone is not set to use Verizon data no matter what unless you have unlimited. The charges will add up quickly. I do not have unlimited because it costs to much & my phone bill is already outrageous. I wish I had never got this phone. Hind side is better than fore sight. Now I am stuck
A bad experience
This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a Verizon store. I picked this store because it was a company store and not just a retailer. But I Left after 3 employees gave bad customer service and went to a retail store in Concord, NC and got great customer service. I would never walk through these doors again looking for help. And I was there to upgrade!!!
Over the last 24 hours we have had a great experience with Verizon.Darius got us set up yesterday with a new plan after I transferred off of my mother’s account as well as two new phones! He was very helpful and polite, and gave us all the information we needed to get started.Brittany helped me this morning when I was locked out of our Verizon account and was very patient with me while doing this!Thank you so much!

My Android Turbo gave up the ghost. Went by the store to see if it could be fixed. I was greeted immediately and had no wait. I ended up having to replace my phone. Bought 2 so my wife could have a nice new phone as well. Staff transferred all my info and had me up and running within minutes. Very pleased. Just wish they carried cases for motozforce2. Otherwise outstanding.
Do not go here for any kind of phone shopping or service. They are blaming it on covid but it is just an excuse if you ask me. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I will never go back to this retailer. You have been warned !

It is a nice place but and it may have been a one time thing it takes a long time to get things accomplished. Wasnt planning on having to spend that amount of time doing something. Block out way more time than you think you need to be safe.
Customer service is poor at this store. It took over 30 mins for a associate to speak to me. All I needed was a sim card, a simple purchase. It wasnt that busy. I waited another 25 mins before I left. Dont come to this store if you want good customer service.
Kevin Sullivan was amazing. I told him what issues I was having with my phone. Mr. Sullivan told me what my options. So I replaced the Sims Card. He also told me that Verizon has a discount for the Military. Most people would have pushed hard to buy a new phone since I was up for an upgrade, but not Mr. Sullivan and I truly appreciate that.
1st trip to the Salisbury store, the employee said the phones were buy 1 get 1 free...which was incorrect after contacting Verizon. 2nd trip was to purchase accessories for my new phone..employee was not very helpful and seemed to be bothered that I was asking questions.Needless to say, we took our money to the Concord Mills area store, where the employees during both visits were eager to assist and very helpful.

Very dishonest people and company! My daughter decided to go here to start her 1st service on Black Friday and was sold on a sale they had. She was supposed to get a gift card in about 2wks. So she waited and the closer it got to Xmas and it wasnt here we called them. We were told oh not 2wks but 45days, but that they would get it here sooner for the problem. As of Jan. 11th nothing so we call back. This time basically told oh well we got you and youll get nothing. How about that for the so called #1 wireless service. To be #1 theyll lie and bait and switch you till you just give in. Well thats not happening. Social media, better business, and local news are our next options. No since in this level of dishonesty. If another company wants to buy her out shell be gone!

I love Verizon. I have been a customer since 1993. It is according to which associate that you get determines the knowledge and service. Most of the time the selling is more important than service after the sale.

I love the actual phone service, but the customer service may be the worst corporate customer service in the industry. It is unbelievable what I have gone through, just to try to upgrade my plan and give them more of my money. I went to the store here in Salisbury, NC, and there are 10 customers waiting around, and I didnt see one single rep helping anyone. And I couldnt tell, cause everyone was in street clothes, and I didnt see a single name tag on anyone. Just groups of people standing around. So I tried to upgrade my plan through my phone, and it made me reset my pin, but wont accept any pin that I try to provide it! Then I tried to login to my account on the website, and it wont let me. Its asking for my account security code, without giving me ANY clue as to what that is, or where to find it! So Ill be moving my services to Sprint now. Ridiculous!
Dont waste your time with the people at this store. Sad. Used to be a good place to go. We went to look at getting a new phone. The guy who greeted us at the door with the tablet to check us in was helping us, until his boss came by with a phone charger and other items in his hand. He rudely interrupted us, not even acknowledging we were being helped, proceeded to give those items to the guy helping us telling him to go help other lady. This left us standing at the door, at which time we tried to get the bossses attention about helping us and he just waved his hand at us and told us we were good, we were in the system. We werent, we hadnt gotten that far yet. We tried to insist we had not been helped and he did the same thing - youre good, youre in the system. At that point, needless to say we were becoming aggravated and expressed as such. At that point we were asked to leave and if we didnt they would call the police. Nice. The exact kind of customer service you can plan to expect at your next visit.
The staff are reasonably polite, if a bit unknowledgible about the products they sell. They also attempt to charge for services that are offered for free from Verizon. Like an in - home network extender (the store charges a $200 non-refundable fee to use the device where Verizon will send you one for free if you call them. Even corporate on the phone said the store should NOT be charging for the borrowed device.)5 stars due for being polite, 2 star reduction for lack of inventory and improper practices whose sole purpose is just to make a buck.

Ive been with Verizon about 10 years now and have 10 lines currently. The first reason Im still with them is their coverage. But the second reason is the service Ive received at this store. The 800 # service sorry to say isnt the greatest. But every visit to this store has been exceptional. They have always been able to resolve any issue Ive ever had. And have gone above and beyond to do so. And although everyone Ive dealt with here is awesome Chris Ruiz is superb. Thank you for always taking time to help!
Great great great customer service and very helpful. I was visiting the area for training and needed a cord for my phone charger. We had the nicest conversation and explored the possibility of trading or upgrading my phone. I didnt do it yet but she gave some great tips and advise. Dont have her name but sure wish she worked in my home town Verizon. Shame on me for not getting her name, she was wonderful! Originally from Scotland county and now lives in Charlotte, what a delightful person!!!!!!
You usually pay a little more than expected going in due to add ons. Expect to spend some time here. They do have some chairs and comfy booths though. Maybe free WiFi. I know theyll let you charge your phone here.

I wouldn’t even give this store one star. Customer service is HORRIBLE. This is my second time going into this store and same results. I wasn’t greeted nor “signed” in. Rep refused to help me after I had been in store for about 30 minutes. Representative made it seemed like since I wasn’t purchases new phone my issue wasn’t important. I would never recommend this Verizon location to anyone. You are better off taking that drive to Concord.
I have gone to this Verizon store for years. On April 16th I went to get two screen protectors for my phone as well as my wifes. An S10+ and an S10. I asked for what the associate recommended and he came out with the Invisible Shield ultra clear. They were on sale for $26.99 each. I had to look up a video on how to apply it to an S10 and once I did discovered it did not cover the entire phone. It did not fully reach the bottom of the phone and did not have enough material to cover the edges of the screen. Unacceptable for $26.99 when the screen protector that was originally on the phone covered the entire area and offers essentially the same level of protection as this one.I went back to Verizon on April 17th and spoke with the manager. She was very nice, which is why I gave two stars. Otherwise, she was fairly dismissive of my points and concern. She explained that because of the item that it is and because it has been opened, they cannot refund it. They did refund the other screen protector for my S10+ as it was unopened. I understood this, but as this item clearly did not cover the entire phone I still believed I should be refunded or credited the amount. I showed her photos of the screen protector lining up with the top of the phone and not reaching the bottom. She dismissed this saying that she has applied many of these and would be happy to do it for me. She did not have an attitude in her voice and was again staying professional. This surprised me a little because she couldnt refund me $26.99, but she could apply a brand new one? Either way thats essentially them losing $26.99. So, I did not get a refund.10 minutes later after calling customer service they say that under my circumstances (it not fully covering the phone on the bottom and sides) a refund should have been issued in this case. **Edit: The customer service associate I spoke to on the phone did credit me $27.00 to my account.** I guess it is possible to offer a refund even for an open item.I have always been treated well at this store and everyone has always been kind. But almost every time I have gone I later find out that information that was told to me was only slightly correct or flat out wrong. This is only the most recent example. The lack of knowledge is too inconvenient. In the case of the screen protector save some time and money and use Amazon. Plenty are on there for $7 that have better reviews and offer the same protection.

After being with Verizon for 10+ years. I upgraded two devices online and got sent to this store to pick up phones. When arriving I got told that they couldnt help me activate them in the store. So I purchased a otterbox and screen protector. They put the protector on for me. It had 2 big nail marks and a large scratch. I asked if they could fix it and they told me that if I thought I could do it better than I was more than welcome too. So I sat in there parking lot having to activate two phones over the phone for over 45min. Only to sat the Salisbury store has bad attitudes and terrible service. If I had not just signed a 2 year contract service would be going else where.
Awesome customer service! Always go here. The representatives are very helpful. They know everything that there is to know about the service that they offer. Everytime I go in I am never there more than 2 hours. I would recommend this store to anyone.

Usually have a decent experience. But yesterday my parents went in to get a new phone as they were leaving for a trip. The lady helping them helped pick out their phone. Rang them up and moved on. Didnt help swap anything over to the new device didnt even check to make sure the phone that she handed them worked correctly ( plot twist it didnt) i spent 3 hours when they got home switching everything over manually because of the old phone being very out dated and none of us had any direction on how to do it. Because usually the store does it. didnt really mind until tried activating the phone. For 45 minutes. And it would show some type of error. Apparently. Doesnt work right. They had to call support. They found a store on route to their destination called ahead and got them a replacement ready for them. Whoever that person was we all appreciate. However if it would have just been checked and done in the store. None of that would have been necessary and wouldnt had to worry about meeting their deadline....
I came in to price out some plans, my agent was incredibly pushy to take my ID and run a credit check. After I refused and asked for a print out of plan prices she kept suggesting prepaid plans. After I refused that... she disappeared in back for an excessive amount of time.
I was at the store, it was less then good. People working there acted like they were doing the customers a favor. They were slow to correct problems that their personal created. If this is wide spread in the business, its no wonder that their slipping backwards.
Idk how this place is open and operating as a Verizon store.Verizon is suppose to be a reputable trusted leader in phone service.The staff an management are clueless,lost,confused or whatever else describes employees who dont know how to do there job.I went here 3 times(this is what I was told to do each time I called this location) to register an activate a used phone (that was originally purchased at this Verizon store )after the 3 times that were a total waste of time an gas $ I have not resolved the phone issue..
If I could, I would give this place no stars. I waited an hour and a half being told that there was three people in front of me the whole time so I finally decided to go to the kiosk and pay my $40 bill which came out to be $44 in all. I put a $100 bill in there and did not get any change. Nowhere on the kiosk or any where does it say that the kiosk does not give change. So, as you could think, I was very upset and wanted my $66 back. The manager said there was nothing they could do since it was a prepaid phone and they put me on line with the corporate office and all the corporate office did after an hour and a half of speaking with them was give me a $20 credit on my third month of billing. This was ridiculous. And I was upset of course so I was being a little agitated with the manager who was helping me or supposed to be helping me quote on quote. But he wouldnt even went to the back and got one of those long poles and was intimidating me with it swinging it in my face hitting it on the wall right in front of me hitting it right where my feet were on the bar stool and I was very upset about that he was talkin to me rude. He was using profanity he was telling me to call my husband and telling him to come up there and do something about it. His name was AJ and this was the Salisbury store. He also tried to charge my phone and loosened my charging port trying to put it in so hard just trying to be an a hole. Like I said if I could give this place no stars I would. It was absolutely ridiculous and I felt very intimidated so intimidated that I almost called the cops and told them how he was swinging that metal pole right in front of my face.
The staff tries hard and are friendly enough. The problem is there never seems to be enough help so the waits can be excruciating. With as expensive as it is to have Verizon service you would think they could better staff their stores.
I only rate a single star because no stars isnt an option. I met Meredith in the store to drop a line off my phone plan. She stated my request wasnt possible. I left frustrated only to perform my request in the parking lot on the phone with Verizon customer service. So much for her 3 years of experience. Skip the store and call *611!!! For sales go to Best Buy where it is always a pleasure to buy a cell phone.
I like the Verizon store, but dont go there much. I really hate the wait. They need someone who only help people who wants to get quick things like chargers or small things and be able to get out. I went for a charger for my car and had to wait while people were there to buy phones and other items that took forever. Could have been in, got what I needed and out in 5 mins. But instead took 30. Thats crazy.

Hector at Verizon in Salisbury talked me into turning my iPhone 7 Plus that was paid off in for the iPhone XR but I told him I had to speak with my husband but I would like to get a 50$ pre paid for the day until I come in the next day with my husband if he agrees. My husband agrees we come back, hector told me multiple times if I come back in to get the new phones he would reimburse me for the 54$ I spent for service for one day. My husband switched from Sprint and turned his 7 in also. I was told over and over the bill would be 166-170$ AND 54$ would be taken off. Today I see the bill and it’s 272$. I’ve been with Verizon my whole life. My whole family has and once I try to get my own plan he basically lies to my face. I will most definitely be coming back in to confront him but I think something should be done. Worst service ever. He kept telling me how he was doing me favors etc every time I asked about anything. He pushed and pushed and lied to my face. Very disappointed. This was suppose to be our Christmas gifts. He also took my iPhone 7 Plus in the day before I got the phone so i went a whole day without a phone that I just 55$ for service for that I was never reimbursed for as he promised over and over. I want to speak with management.

Every time I have a problem, issue, or question I call ahead to the store. Every time its claimed they can fix it, solve the issue, or for sure meet my request no questions asked. Every time I go in store and I hear I dont know why someone here told you that. Always contradict and never get my questions or issues fixed at all. Horrible customer service every time. I will no longer be with Verizon.

I ordered my phone online. They were fairly busy. The lady taking names finally got to me and asked if Id gotten my order in and then asked for my name again. She went and found it. She bagged it up, asked for my ID proof and that was that. She didnt offer to help set it up or ask if I wanted to get anything to go with it. Very useless salesperson for my trip. Luckily their store didnt have the accessories anyhow. I ordered a google pixel 2 online for the discount. Their store didnt have any cases for it out front that I saw.
Not helpful at all. Pay at kiosk and reps do not seem knowledgeable. Zero service.
