I changed a flat about a block from their business but needed a pump to inflate my newly replaced tube. I stopped by to borrow their pump and Ian not only inflated my tire but replaced it with a new one when it turned out my new tube was also flat. I didnt have any money on me but he replaced the tube under an honor system where I could come by later to pay. This is amazing service! I was in middle of a Randonneuring ride so Im really grateful he helped me out so I could finish my 100km ride. Thank you so much, Ian.

Amazing service. Super helpful and friendly guys. Very reasonable service prices and they were quick. Their priority is clearly to get you riding. Their passion for biking shows. They gave me free advice and tips to save some money. Even referred me where to get parts from someone else when they didnt have them.

They helped me above and beyond when I needed some handlebar plugs. I was having trouble finding any that fit my handlebars due to a non-standard width in the opening. I came in on a Tuesday to buy a rear derailleur and because I was elated with the service I purchased some lights. Come to find out after installing the part, the lights I purchased were needed to replace the gear shifting cord two days after. Every employee has great service and I recommend every cyclist to come here for your biking needs. I am back in the wind!!! :)

Had new tires put on bike. They were special order got the job done before the estimated time.

On August 12, 2020, my wife and daughter and I went to “The Bicycle Business” (3077 Freeport Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95818) bike shop to look at some bikes. Upon arriving, we greeted outside by an employee named Cooper. We told Cooper what we were looking for and he said great, let’s start outside. After my wife and I test rode the Bianchi bikes, we made our decision. We asked Cooper about the price again to be sure, because the bikes had 2 price tags on them. The original price of $1039.99 and the sales price of $949.99. He again stated that both bikes were the same price and pointed out the $949.99 price tag on the bikes.A few days later while talking with my friend Josh. He asked what size was my bike. I told him a 59” inch. He said really? I said yep. He said mine is a 61” inch hold on. He then went inside and got his bike and placed it up against mine to compare the height. He then said, ok yours might be a 59” inch. I forgot I’m much taller and my seat is adjusted higher. So I went home and looked at the receipts. Upon looking at the receipts for the sizes, I noticed that the cashier had charged us the full price for both of the bikes instead of the sales price. But hey, no worries, we were sure it was a simple mistake and all we had to do was bring it to their attention (But No)On Monday, August 17th, 2020, I went back to “The Bicycle Business” to try and get this rectified. Aaron the manager came out and asked how could he help, I then proceeded to explain what happened with the bikes and the price and showed him the receipts and explained that we were over charged for the bikes. His response was, as he was trying to short stop me from continuing what I was trying to convey.Aaron: “Hey, we sell two different bikes for two different prices. If you want to bring those bikes back I’ll refund you the full price and sell you some bikes for $949”.Me: Ok, but the bikes I bought were $949, what I would like for you to do is give me a credit for the difference. (But He Refused)Aaron: Again, I can give you a refund for those bikes and sell you some bikes for $949.Me: Listen, when we came here the other day. Cooper assisted us in our buying process. When inquiring about the bikes of our choice, we asked Cooper if both bikes were $949. Because all the bikes outside had sales tags on them as well as the original price tag and Cooper said yes. They’re both $949. We then said ok, we’ll take them both.Aaron: Hey man, I’m not in the habit of selling $1040 bikes for $950Me: I understand that, but these were $949 and your employee Cooper said that they were $949.Aaron: If you’re not satisfied with the bikes you can just return them.Me: It’s not about me being satisfied with the bikes, it’s about you doing the right thing and honoring what was told to us and the fact that the bikes had sales tags on them for $949.Me: Ok Listen (pointing towards some other bikes in the shop) that bike says $2599 correct? (he nods as to imply yes) If I ask you how much for that bike and you tell me $2599 and the tag says $2599, then I’m expecting to pay $2599…But when I go to pay for it you tell me it’s $2799, that’s misleading and you have to sell me the bike for what its advertised as, Correct? He says nothing and just shrugs his shoulders like ok whatever (now we’re just standing there in silence) I then ask him to come outside with me for a second (he agrees)I head towards the bikes that are outside, I go directly to one of the bikes that were identical to the ones I purchased. I said to him, what does that price tag say? Does it not say $949? (He says nothing but points at another price tag, the original one) I said ok, but what does the sale price say? And if you’re not selling these for this price, why do you have these on here? (He then snatches the sale price tag off of the bike) I say ok, that means nothing to me…I was still told by your employee Cooper that the bikes we purchased were $949 as well as the bikes having a $949 price tag on them and you have to honor that.Aaron: I can’t be responsible for employee mistakes

Super rude and snotty guy refused to check the brakes and chain of my bike to make sure they were installed correctly because it was an ebike. Said in a super sarcastic voice this is a bike shop we dont work on motorized vehicles So totally unprofessional and unwarranted, my bike has all normal bike parts except for the battery so how the hell are you going to refuse to check the safety of the wheel I had to install myself. I sincerely hope you go out of business.

Had some adjustments made to my handlebars and some racks installed. My bike was ready a day earlier than quoted, and done very well. Had some questions about other bikes that the staff happily answered without giving the a pushy sales person attitude. I would recommend this place to other people needing bikes or service.

Ive only had good experiences here. The most knowledgeable bike shop in town. Hands down.This isnt the place to just stand around and hang out. This is a shop to get what you need for your steed, and go ride. I highly recommend the Bike Biz.

They were friendly, the bikes were high end, small shop, but they fix the bikes also. I bought a dxt jamis and spent more then i wanted, but with the Covid-19 bikes are going fast especially at target, Walmart and big 5.

This place is is legit. Brought my Trek 2200 front hub for diagnostic. Steven took the time to conform a diagnosis and sold me the cone wrench needed to complete my repair. First time customer, however, this is my LBS from now on. Thanks again to Steven and the entire team!!!! Keep up the good work.

After going to a few bikes stores and many being out of stock for kids bikes during this whole covid-19 era. We hit the jackpot, they had 2made and ready togo and they both fit the size our kids needed.Friendly staff, helpful and cool. We were able to test out the bikes and the kids loved them.Each bike comes with a warranty and a break in period. After use some items will become used and maybe needs some adjustments or alignment. They got you covered. Ask for details on exactly what they do and time frames.As of may 1st 2020. They do have bikes shipments coming in and putting them together as fast as they can. If they dont have one ready but in boxes you can have them put together shortly. So dont leave, ask!When we happened to get there we just got lucky. Cause a few families also were looking to buy the bikes.Hours have changed a little do to covid-19. And people allowed inside are limited.

My wife wanted a bicycle for last 18 months and never liked what she rode until we decided to stop in. We drive by the place everyday and next thing I knew we were buying a bike for her and some other accessories. She was very happy with the purchase. And the shop will have you come back in and adjust what ever doesnt feel right. Very nice people.

I did not buy my bicycle here, but I buy my inter tubes, tires, and get my brake pads replaced here. They people are always very friendly and they never try and sell me anything I do not need. I would highly recommend bringing your bike for any service here or if you need to buy parts.

Great little neighborhood shop! I stopped by to test ride a bike as it was the only place in town to stock a Surly Long Haul Trucker. The staff was exceptionally friendly, their prices were very competitive and I ended up buying a complete build there with accessories. Bob was very helpful and gave me a discount on all accessories after buying a bike from them. I highly recommend this shop. They sell quality bikes.

This place is my favorite local bike shop. They have a great staff, give great support and seriously do everything they can to accommodate you. My boys and I race BMX, which requires specialized parts and equipment, and isnt the focus of the bike shop. However time and time again they have always provided the support and guidance Ive needed to maintain the bikes which has allowed me to not have to drive all the way to Roseville for BMX racing specific support and maintenance. Check out The Bicycle Business, you wont be disappointed.

The chain on my daughters bike came off as I was riding it to her school. I tried to put it back on just using my hands but it was jammed in the chain guard. I took a detour to the bike shop. Even for them it wasnt a real quick fix but after enough finagling of the chain with a screw driver and some brute force they got the chain back on. They set me in my way and didnt charge me anything.
