Eric was amazing. I did not know what size unit I needed. He showed me three different sizes and talked me through the process. He made it so easy to rent a storage unit and accommodated all of my needs. Thanks Eric!

Just moved out of our space yesterday after storing it for 3 years. I had a wonderful experience renting here. The staff are very nice and helpful. They have cameras everywhere. This place is very clean and maintained. The restroom is a restroom you can actually feel comfortable using because it is always clean. The manager is always happy to help and always has a smile with a positive attitude. The only negative is in the 3 years I received 2 increase 1st was $12 increase and the 2nd was $8 increase but I complained to the manager and they lowered it from $8 to $4. I guess it is not so bad but who likes to pay more!

My experience was outstanding from start to finish. Eric was very helpful and was always available for questions and support. I highly recommend them! I was able to use the Morning Star truck to move my items to storage. I found all of the staff to be friendly and professional. Thank you to Eric and to the morning Star team!

My experience at Morningstar Storage was great! The manager, Eric was very pleasant and knowledgeable about this property and made my unit selection very accommodating. I will recommend my friends and family here above any other establishment.

Although this facility itself is decent and staff on site (when they are actually there) are friendly. They are horrible about returning phone calls and following up altogether. Due to staff miscommunication, I had to move my stuff multiple times, was told I’d receive a discount for the inconvenience of having to do so and still have not received it. Nor have I received any communication from them after notifying them that I had moved all my stuff out OVER A MONTH AGO! I was told that I would also receive a refund for the unused time at this facility. That’s has not happened either!!

I called first and the customer service was great!Then when I got there the manager Erick received me and help me thru the whole process very friendly and professional.

This place is pretty cool--the location, the service and its climate controlled which is always a plus in the hot summer months. The server manager was very helpful to us and provided us with 2 carts to help move my friends stuff.There is a very clean single slot restroom inside the facility. The facility itself is clean both inside and on the outside area. Easily accessible on the frontage road of eastbound I-30.

Do not use Morning Star Storage in Rockwall. Horrible customer service if you can even get them on the phone. I was in a first floor unit and paid extra to be there and they decided they needed my space to make bigger units. They gave me 3 days notice that I would be moved to a second floor unit and that I could move myself or they would have their movers move my belongings. They promised if their movers moved my belongings everything would be put back the way it was before the move. I checked on my things after the move to find out they just crammed everything into the new unit and didnt put anything back how it was. On top of that they broke my air hockey table and Christmas tree and didnt even bother to notify me. I tried calling the location only to be sent to their customer service who stated they would be in touch with me. No call back from them so I had to call several times before they would call back. I will never recommend this facility to anyone. I had to file a claim on insurance to get my property fixed that they broke. Also the manager wanted me to commit insurance fraud by me telling the insurance company that I broke the property when I was moving it and not to mention that their movers were the people moving it.

This is the first storage unit I have ever had, and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very nice, and the building is clean. They were always available to answer my questions. Definitely using this storage place again if needed

My things have been stored here for two years. Within a few months of being there, the price increased. In fact, its increased about 5 times over these two years. If not for the hassle of moving i would relocate my things some place else. Classic bait and switch. They offer a good deal to get you in and then they jack up the price. When I moved in they said one of the perks was you could get free bottles of water from the office while you were doing stuff in your storage. They never have water whenever Ive asked since then. The place used to be immaculately clean but just the other day when I was there I saw cobwebs and other debris that clearly had not been cleaned for a while. Overall the facility is nice but i dont like their billing practices.

Today, 5-20-2020 I went inside to check on rental a storage unit. Tasha was working and took excellent care of my situation and Im happy with the rental. Tasha made my experience great and trouble free as she was very polite, nice, helpful and so many other great things. Im extremely happy i came here. I did check out another place first but I didnt get no where near the kind of treatment that I received from Tasha at CubeSmart. I know Ive made a good choice thanks to Tasha. Very professional!!!!! I recommend this place.

The Rockwall TX CubeSmart was great. They treated me great since day one. I never had any issues with them at all. My items where protected and never got damaged.

The facility is fine, mostly in good shape. However they use deceptive business practices to get you to pay more than the stated price.First they require you to buy a cylinder lock for the unit for $17. They told me that it was available at the local hardware stores but that was not true and they knew it. So I had to buy their $5 lock for $17. P.S. The lock can only be used on storage units so when you move out it is worthless.Next they said that I had to pay for the insurance of $12 per month. I told them that it was covered by my homeowners insurance (this is true most homeowner policies) and I didnt need. after going back and forth several times she agreed to not charge of the insurance if I would provide a copy of my policy. On the day I checked in with policy in hand she told me that I needed to pay the first months rent including the lock and they would email me the rental agreement that I could sign electronically which I did. When I receiving the agreement, I had been charged for the insurance. When I challenged the charge, I was told that they could not correct the billing and they would take it off starting month two. Also if I didnt sign the agreement with the insurance on it they would lock me out of my unit.I do not recommend this company and will be moving my items to a different location shortly.

After being a 3 year, loyal customer, I decided the constant increase in rental cost was no longer worth it. My unit was outside and the price raised to $197. Multiply that out 12 months and there goes over $2000!

Tosha did a great job with helping us find the right sized unit(s), finding us a cart for us to use to move in, and arranging our floating move in date. I highly recommend working with her at this location.

Tasha is very helpful and knows the units very well. Always has a positive attitude and willing to help troubleshoot.

I came in today, and was helped by Tasha. She was for kind to me, and my son. I would come again, and refer others based on my experience. Made my day great starting off this morning!!

Do not rent here if you plan on staying more than 6 months! Ive been here a year and they keep raising the rate! I feel like they sold me on it being a great deal and now that my stuff is there Im trapped to pay or pay a moving company to move to another storage facility. Went from 120 to 143$ (started at 106) not happy!

I reserved my storage unit online with ease. The next day I was contacted by the manager to confirm my reservation and ensure I would be in prior to closing. Once I arrived I was given a tour of the facility and the unit to ensure it would fit my needs. The process took less than 15 minutes and the associate was pleasant. I would recommend this facility due to it being clean, climate controlled, secure, and the professional office staff.

Great service. Made renting a storage space easy and fast. Its very clean and well lit. Anytime you have to store your personal belongings short or long term, it can be nerve racking. They made it simple and gave me comfort that my belongings will be safe and sound!

My experience was good and the young lady Nikki at the Rockwall Store was kind and courteous and took time with me. I do think it is sad though that we have to pay almost thirty dollars a month for insurance. On our merchandise that we are trusting you And payment g you to keep it safe. Even my insurance said that it was high for such a small amount of funds

Nikkie did a great job of explaining the process and made it easy to move in! Clean, well lit building. It took only 75 minutes to offload a room and a half of furniture to the 3rd floor storage unit including a sofa and a heavy, hardwood desk. Ordered online and got a month free and a discounted rate!

When I made the call the lady on the phone at the national office was extremely nice and helpful and she said that the local office would call me within 24 hours. That call came within 30 minutes and that young lady was extremely personable and informative, I went right on up to the facility and rented my spaces !!

Moving is a very tedious and arduous task. Moving out-of-state and leaving half of our stuff in storage even adds more stress to the entire ordeal. BUT.......Dana Hart at Cube Smart helped tremendously to alleviate some of this pressure. She helped us find space in a much needed downstairs place. We can NOT begin to thank Dana enough. Would highly recommend Cube Smart and Dana in particular!

I thought the staff was great and informative. I liked the cleanliness of the facility and it felt secure.

This was my first time using self-storage so I didnt really know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by CubeSmart. From the moment, I called to set up my storage unit to the moment that I checked out, the staff here was beyond helpful. I accidentally dropped a glass jar while moving things in and one of the workers quickly helped me clean everything up so that I could go about my day. The units are secure and very clean, and I never had an issue with having a dolly to use or having to wait for the elevator. Originally, I was disappointed that the facility wasnt open 24 hrs but truly their hours are plenty sufficient! Overall a very positive experience with CubeSmart!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience! The employees are Super Awesome! They took time to explain the process. Moving can be very stressful, but when you have kind and caring people like Kimberly and her teammate, it makes the transition somewhat easier.

This experience was so quick and pleasant. It was only a few mins from walking in, to being handed the key. Megan was so friendly, and very efficient. Truly a pleasure!

If Morningstar Storage buys out your previous storage facility (such as was in my case) and they give you a courtesy call to let you know, dont belive them when they say they have a 12 month price guarantee from previous agreement. I asked if my rates would stay the same, and they said yes, then I get a bill that went up almost $60. Upon calling them back they said they would meet me in the middle and split the difference of price increase. They also blamed the previous company saying that they added a bunch of price increases before they sold facility. Just be honest and stick to your word please. Looking for another facility to store my items.

The representative/manager at CubeSmart in Rockwall, TX behind Costco was beyond awesome!!!! It was 5:45pm and they close at 6pm, on a cold night. Frustrated by not being able put my fridge in a pod, called and spoke with Nicole (I think). Was able to get the what unit I needed in order to not loose my expensive refrigerator. Not only was she professional, but very caring and personable. In the stress of frustration, she was able to calm my concerns and had lease signed and on my way. I just want to say thank you and such a valuable team member you have managing your facility. Happy Holidays !!

I wasnt sure which size storage unit I needed. Nikkie showed me the advantages and disadvantages of the two different sizes I was looking at. I chose a 10x10 and made my first drop off today. It was very helpful.

I will never use this storage unit again.Ill start with the good, this is a clean facility that has a water fountain, which is a blessing when moving in the summer.But the reason I will never return is, when signing up we were told the gates lock at 10pm, but if I needed to get out after 10pm then just call the customer service number and get a special code. But what they dont tell you is that number is only open during office hours and if you are in the gate after 10pm you are literally locked in with no way to get your vehicle out unless someone else with an after 10pm code just so happens to come while you are trapped in there.This is a horrible process which leaves people literally trapped inside that the front office people mislead and/or fail to tell you about when you sign up.

I have to say that the whole process was smooth and amazing! I set up, over the phone a reservation for a unit. I was personally contacted by the Manager Gregg. This is where CUSTOMER SERVICE came alive! From the moment I stepped onto the property I was made to feel valued. From the information provided to the extra steps they take to ensure your property is protected. You have to use this place for all your storage needs !Update: left my lock on the desk and they were closing when I called Gregg back, well what does he do,,,,he is waiting outside when I pulled up with the keys! Once again customer service at its best!!
