Nice, quite, and well maintained self storage facility. Well lit at night. We have had multiple storage units, including RV parking, at this location for over 3 years. Never had any issues. We also used the on-site Uhaul services twice, which is very convenient. Staff has always been wonderful, very friendly and helpful!

The environment was very nice and I got just what I was looking for. This guy named Marzton helped me out and was really nice! Definitely a great and welcoming place for storage.

Chris and Greg both are exceptional guys to deal with. They go out of their way to make your experience easy during a hectic time of moving. They gave us the best price around on the storage unit and U-Haul truck rental. We will drive out of our way to keep doing business with them whenever we need to rent trucks or trailers.

We dropped off a U-haul after hours on a Sunday night and due to a corporate error with U-haul they had moved our drop off location. Greg Burnson, with American Storage & U-haul of Rockwall was so nice and gave us the very best customer service I have had in a long time. He came out of his house to help us out and guide us with U-haul to call in and get it fixed even though they already had a ton of our size trucks on his lot. We were able to leave it there and go home after a long weekend. We are so blessed and grateful for his help. Would highly recommend their business to anyone needing storage or U-haul service. Would also recommend Greg Brunson. He is truly an angel. Thank you so much for your help today.

Dont waste your time. Whoever works the front office here cares move about holding conversations then helping the customer. I sat and waited 20 minutes while he laughed and giggled with a customer. Now my reservation time arrives and he’s outside with them and helping some other guy that just walked up. Reservation has been canceled and wont be coming here again. 1 hour of my time has been wasted driving up here for nothing. And i had a reservation

We have rented from the twice. The first unsuccessful attempt, we tried the contactless pick up. By the time we got off the phone with Uhaul customer service to get the lockbox code, they had rented our reserved truck to someone else. No one was at the business location, although it was during their business hours. Second time, we reserved online but selected the option to pick up from the dealer in person. We arrived at our scheduled time, during business hours, and again the door was locked, phone went unanswered....This place is terrible. The WORST! Go somewhere else and pay a few extra dollars on mileage.

I would definitely recommend them. Chris was extremely friendly, helpful, and considerate of our needs. He most definitely went above and beyond. If you are in need of storage or to rent a U-Haul, this is the place to call.Thank you so much Chris! 😊

Renting a Uhaul truck was easy, and the guys there were great.

I had the best experience with them from the inquiry phone call to moving out!!The trucks were clean and the unit was spotless.Chris Richards was the best part of doing business with them. He was warm, generous and genuinely interested in my family and my situation. If I ever need storage again I will definitely use them. I highly recommend them!

I have used this location for several of my rental and drop offs in the last year. I have used Uhaul a lot due to moving this year and for hauling large bulk items. The staff and management are polite and fast at getting you in and out the door. Drop offs literally take less than five minutes. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

All I have to say is that CHRIS, SAVED THE DAY! Hectic day of moving, tired as can be, scatter brained! Thats how my day was until I stopped by American Storage. Chris was able to get me exactly what I needed in storage space. The property was very nice and clean. Chris was the most friendly and helpful person 😉😁 !🙏✔️Thanks again Chris!!!!

We had 2 storage units for 2 months. The managers Jana and Chris were wonderful.They always made us feel welcome and took great care to be sure we were satisfied.The units were very clean.They did have some computer problems that made for some long waiting at times. So that is why only 4 stars .I would go there again!!

This is my second time to rent from Chris, both times were excellent! They were very kind,helpful and considerate. They made moving that day a lot less stressful.

The manager is outstanding, very nice and curtious! She answered all my questions without fussing. She is sweet and very friendly. She understood my needs and didnt hesitate to go all out to help me. The area is very clean and neat. I had NO problems or issues. The trucks are clean, and well kept. This is the first time EVER I had a great experience renting a U-HAUL truck. It was a pleasure renting my truck at American Storage.

God aweful experience. No one was there when I showed up to move stuff in. Had hired 4 guys to help. Had to leave rental truck and rehire guys next day when I was able to move in. They fired the manager who was supposed to be there the day before, and emphatically promised they would comp some months rental due to huge fiasco. Comp never happened, no one would ever get back to me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!Additionally, they have screwed up my automated billing numerous times, and I find myself locked out on weekends due to their errors. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Had a good experience with American Storage. Their customer service was excellent. I appreciated having a clean and bug free unit.

Rented a uhaul from here and the tank was empty and the cabin was dirty with spit out sunflower seeds in the cupholders.

I stopped by American Storage of Rockwall and my experience was very positive. The lady I talked to was Marj and she was very friendly and informative. The facility looks new and well kept. I think the location, price, employees, and, ease of access makes this a great facility to use in the Rockwall area.

When I compared this facility with others in the Rockwall area they were very competitive in rates. Their facility is nice and clean and gate protected 24/7. Convenient access off I-30. They were everything they promised. I will definitely use them again in the future.GK Hill

Spoke with manager at 5:45pm, confirmed they had trailer we needed. They close at 6pm, confirmed I am in route and will be there RIGHT at 6pm asked if he would wait, he said yes. He drove out of parking lot as we drove in it. He left! Husband saw On site property manager who said I cant help you, Im off today ......UPDATE : received a call from area manager and really appreciate his attention and the way he handled it. Thank you very much! We got a trailer from them the next morning and would rent from them again based on their response to this issue.

Between Chris and Jana i have been told multiple times that my account would be credited. I drove 19 miles total returned the rental in under 3 hours and was charged for 6 gallons worth of fuel totalling 25 and change. The fuel gauge did not match what was on the contract and it was brought to janas attention. She said it would be fixed but it was not. It has been a week and still nothing has been done. Make sure and check the contract and the fuel gauge before pulling off the lot.

The people who work here are Amazing !!! They know how to make you feel Special ! They bend over backwards to help and they know how to work and have Fun !!! Best UHaul place around ....

Moved in 11/2. Told them I was there very short term. Paid for 2 months in advance. Moved out 11/18. Promised by Manager Chris Richards a refund for second month. Then I got strung along for a month. Then I went to get promised refund. They called the police. Had me charged with Trespassing.This company is totally crooked. The manager Chris Richards is really good at smiling while lying through his teeth. Other Manager Greg, new, no experience. Owner Will Slaughter, never calls to fix problem. Trust me..Use someone eles.

I stopped by the facility and it was amazing, I was surprised at how well kept everything was. The manager was very informative as he answered all of my questions. I recommend this place to anyone who is in need of storage!

I had a reservation for a uhaul at 2:30pm, i arrived at 2:30pm and the manager was outside, saw me pull up, locks the main door and walks off. Dont come here....they dont need your money.

It wasnt the closest storage facility, but the customer service was outstanding and 2nd to none. We were actually moving our stuff from another storage facility in Dallas and found this place close to my sons job. The two guys (Mike and Matt) that work there, were extremely nice and professional. Mike even helped me unload some things on a bitter cold day that was too cold for this old lady. He didnt have to, but I think its in his nature to help others and I truly thank you for that. Its safe and secure out there. Its well lit up in the evenings so I dont feel like I have to worry about my stuff or my safety like I did at the last place. I definitely recommend this place.

The woman in the office is perfect. Friendly, personable and informative. She is always professional and always helpful. Typically, she is in a good mood and lights up the day.I understand that one must accept what comes with a no climate controlled unit but being left a voicemail to clean out crickets was offensive. My belongings were overrun by crickets among other insects and their droppings and an odor that had to be washed out from the insect repellant.I did typically pay late- but I paid the late fee and without grudge.Told to return to clear out- with their broom- the attack of crickets was too much. I paid $115 a month for an onslaught of crickets and an odor from the insecticide that made us discard our mattresses. :( We had only used the $300 mattresses for 2 months prior to storage.No climate or insect control is understood, but sweep up the mess yourself after or provide cleaner units. That insecticide is now all over my grandchilds heirlooms.

No longer recommend. They raised my rate after 2 months. I feel scammed. It’s a long term rental so I shall be searching for a new facility. Although I’ll have to pay for the move, at this point, it’s the principle of the matter.

Uhaul rental here was pretty painful to say the least. Series of unnecessary mess ups. Go rent from somebody else.

The guy told me my rental was for 24 hours. So I kept it for 24 hours and when I returned it they charged me a late fee. The paperwork said 6 hours but i asked the guy about it and he said NO my rental was for 24 hours.

This facility is very clean, managers are very professional, and the units are a great value.

The facility was state of the art, the staff was friendly and helpful and the UHAUL we used was clean and ready to go when we arrived. I dont know what else anyone could ask for.

Rented a UHUAL trailer here and nothing but an easy going experience. Will return if I need a trailer again!
