I had a headlight out on my van. I was at another shop getting new tires and asked them to fix it for me. They tried but said it wasn’t the bulb and thought it was a sensor or something else. Went to Horizon and they got it fixed right away. It was just the bulb. Very professional and friendly.

My vehicle died in the Tom Thumb parking lot and I had it towed to Horizon Auto. The fix seemed easy, a starter and a control module. It wasnt the case, my used vehicle was from the the NE, and it has some corrosion to include a ground cable that was making things a bit crazy to trouble shoot. The fine techs at Horizon figured it out, replaced the bad ground, returned the new starter because it wasnt the starter at all, and got me back into my vehicle. I appreciate that it wasnt the fast in and out and then the laundry list of parts game, they took the time to figure out what was really the issue and corrected it!

These guys really have it together with estimates printed out so you can understand what you are getting, appointment setting is quick and easy. They value your time and their time. I brought my car in and left it because I felt pretty sure that I needed a total brake job. They called me at work to tell me that I did not need my brakes replaced yet and told me the exact mm thickness of brake pad remaining in front and rear. I mean...to know that there’s this much honesty and integrity going on at Horizon Auto...I’ll def return when it’s actually time for the work to be done AND now that I’ve visited them and learned about other services they offer, I’ll be switching to Horizon for more of my car care. Also, they were super helpful with transport between Horizon Auto and my second car at my home.

I would give them a 90 out of 100. They would have received a higher grade had there not been grease all over my drivers door. Other than that, they did a good job at a reasonable price.

A few hours after I left the shop my low oil light went on. I checked the oil level and it was empty. Someone skipped the adding oil step in the oil change process. I had to go to Auto-zone to put at least 1quart in since Horizon closes early on Sat. I have been a loyal customer for years and they have always done a great job, so I anticipate they will resolve the issue come Monday. UPDATE...Devin was great, took care of their mistake first thing Monday morning!

I went to these guys with a check engine light problem and had some engine work done. They had to replace 2 knock sensors inside my engine. So I went to go pick it up and after I left my check engine light came back on. Come to find out they were faulty parts. But, under there warranty that they have everything was covered. So they replaced the faulty parts FOR FREE!!!!I COULDNT believe it. There Customer Service is outstanding and I couldnt have been happier. I definitely give them a 5 star rating and will definitely go back. Thanks for all the help Joseph!!!

Wonderful service. Excellent professionalism. Knowledgeable. I for sure will return. This was unplanned, an emergency, and they quickly got my car serviced and me on my way. Did I mention that they are all so nice, pleasant and polite? My highest recommendations.

Caution!!! The mechanic? (Dakota) left two gaskets on the oil filter. This tells me he did not wipe off the mating surface. I got about two miles down the road and lost oil pressure and dumped oil all over the road. The mechanic had to bring a new filter and oil and change in a parking lot. I was told that the under carriage was pressure washed twice, this I do not believe fore I had oil dripping onto my garage floor when I got home and spent two hours under the truck and two bottles of degreaser cleaning up the oil residue. My billing hours are $100.00 an hour,do you think I will get paid? Dont think so. I could have saved money and got better quality at a jiffy lube. Joseph claims I get a free oil change next time. I dont know if my engine can withstand another quality oil change. $160.61 for what. We used to recommend the shop for quality work but like everyone else you earn the business the quality drops off.

Last minute checkup on our sons car as we passed through town moving across country. Got us in and taken care of quickly, sadly were not able to correct the issue we had as the noise came back after we left. But dont believe it was any fault of theirs as they were inspecting suspension and we now think the issue is in the steering.

Took my Cadillac there running but running rough. Had an issue with the ECU fuel delivery. $1,200 later The car does not even run and the catalytic converter was removed from the vehicle. Car was running and drivable upon entering the shop. After they was done car would not start. They told me they got it started and its ready. I told them when I bring the car there it was starting and driving but running rough and I wanted them to get it running better. Fast forward about 5 months I got the car removed there and had to give them $1,200 for absolutely no reason whatsoever. They replaced a multi-spark which they had to remove because it wasnt needed and they changed the spark plugs and removed my catalytic converter. Thats it. I would have loved to give zero stars

I recently moved to Heath-Rockwall area and I was looking for a shop to do a tune up on my vehicle. I did my research on Google and Horizon Auto Center had great reviews. I went to their website and made an appointment, that was quick and easy. They followed up promptly with a call to confirm my appointment and to find out more details about my visit. The day I dropped my car they were expecting me, the technician was very professional and courteous, he offered me a ride back home. They kept me informed about the progress made on my car and they completed the work on time. Great place to take your vehicle for maintenance, I will be bringing my cars here from now on.

It was in a clear and easy format and Devon explained to me what I had to get done right away and what could wait. I had a bed cover installed and they got me quickly and had it all installed in a timely manner... Even though they were very busy the day that I went to get this done.

Friendly staff, but I was told that my vehicle needed extensive power washing to be able to identify oil leaks and was charged for about two hours of labor for it ($120+). Well after I jacked up the car after taking it home to be able to figure out what parts I needed to order it ends up being not power washed at all (or so little that the charge for it was basically robbery). Old caked oil still on the power steering rack area and transmission that would’ve been clean had it really been power washed and the engine bay in general looks like it hadn’t been washed in the slightest. I get that cleaning the engine wasn’t the main goal and it was just to identify the leak, but if you’re going to charge some over $120 to just power wash the engine at least finish the job and actually do more than 5 min of cleaning. I did more cleaning with my cleaner and paper towels in 10 minutes. Will likely take my car elsewhere next time. I did appreciate them replacing the valve cover gasket but that’s the extent of praise I’m willing to give.Edit: After getting in contact with Horizon they issued me a refund for the extra charge and were cordial and professional.
