I reserved my vehicle in early September with a $500 deposit. The car came in a few days early and Ana called me know of its arrival. Ana held the car as reserved through a busy weekend. I came in yesterday to test drive it and loved it!Ana took her time explaining the many functions of the vehicle despite being closing time. Throughout the entire process Ana was thorough and responsive. Just bought a new Forester from this dealership a couple of weeks ago. Amazing experience! Unlike other dealers which are marking up their new cars due to the inventory shortage, this dealership does not markup. I got a fair deal and they even delivered the car to my house. I cant say enough good things about this place. James and LizBeth were incredible.The Subaru Love Encore program was nice too. Brian showed me a lot of the features of my new car. And I love my new Subaru!

My favorite manager, Mr Posada always makes sure that I have the best experience. He is knowledgeable, patience and calm. Quick and easy! I left a deposit on a car a month prior to purchase. I was kept up to date on the status and arrival of the car. I was able to submit all documentation prior to going into the dealership to sign the final paperwork. My wife and I purchased a Subaru Forester about 2 months ago. The whole experience was really good. John Lynch showed us a few cars and some options. He was extremely rigorous and professional. We loved his work because was not aggressive or pushy like the majority of salesmen. We left very happy and bought the car the day after. 5 weeks later we have been contacted by Kimberly Francis to go over the features of our car ... those features that you can find out if someone does not tell that they actually exist. We had a phone conversation (because of COVID) of about 90 min during which she answered a few questions I had and drove me through some interesting settings of the car I was not aware of. The whole conversation was really nice and very informative. Kimberly was absolutely fantastic and her job impeccable. The service was great and unbelievable useful. My wife and I are very happy with the car and the Subaru service.

I bought my Subaru Impreza in 2013 from Fitzgerald. I always go there when I need work done, but I barely drive my car (only 16k to date).I know a lot of people say as a matter of course to bring your car to a garage rather than a dealership to deal with a car problem.Back in 2013, I bought a plan that gave me a small discount on servicing ($35). In any event, on Monday I had a minor problem with my gas gauge that was quickly address. To my surprise there was no charge. I was in and out in 2 hours. How I gone to a garage I an sure it would have taken longer.
Absolutely stellar service! From my first phone call to inquire about a particular vehicle right through the final selection and then closing the purchase, the process was smooth and problem free. In particular our sales person Elaina was exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and made an extra effort to help us ensure we made the right decision for the vehicle that best suits our needs. As a family, we are repeat customers of Fitzgerald Subaru Rockville three times over, it’s been a pleasure to buy from them each time!
I always try to have my Santa Fe taken care of here (anytime Ive gone somewhere else, even just for an oil change, Ive wished Id come here). They turn the car around quickly, and the service advisor (especially Donnie) will go above and beyond to make sure you get a good deal. They fix it right, the first time.
When it comes to service.. I always trust the Subaru Rockville Pike location. This time, Kyle Hudson was there when I took my Forester for its service, who explained very problem so clearly that I was really impressed. Not just that, he kept me informed about each step that was going on. I expected it to be a long day but to my surprise, it was done in a short time despite the workload they had (especially on Fridays)! I was really impressed . Thank you guys for taking care . My drive back home was so smooth without that clanking noise :))

Just had my Subaru Love-Encore Delivery Service with Ms. Francis. We FaceTimed while we were our respective cars. She was punctual, informative, and professional. I learned a lot about my Subaru Legacy’s features. This is a very worthwhile program.
Jeremy in the parts department ensured I got the correct parts. I needed a PCV valve and hose, the hose needed to be ordered. When I arrived to pick up the parts, Jeremy asked if I wanted the PCV valve hose as the hose that was ordered didn’t appear to be correct. He took the time to double check the VIN and part numbers, went to the back twice, and I ended up with the right hose for my Subaru. His knowledge and extra effort saved me time and headache. Thanks!
Ok, here I go…..my wife and I stopped by this dealer exactly 2 weeks 1 day ago willing to purchase a Crosstrek Sport, when was there checking for it, none was available, to this point everything was ok, we understand the shortage on cars nation wide, but super manager I think he was, jumped in the middle of my conversation with the sales rep saying I can bring the car in two weeks just secure it with $500 that’s it, I deeply trust him.We decide to stop by the dealers after 2 weeks because we didn’t heard from them, and surprised when I asked the sale rep where is the car or at least is on the way he didn’t know nothing about it, at that point I was kinda upset and walked away to my car and he came out and knock on my window asking me for my phone number again I said you got both my wife number and my number, looks like he lost it I gave him back both of the numbers, about to end this review and guess what? We about to get our refund this afternoon, never ever going back to that dealer again or recommend to make business.Bad experience with Fitzgerald Subaru and Fitzgerald Toyota in Gaithersburg this is my second bad experience with Fitzgerald dealers. No More.As a plus the owner only replies to the 5 stars reviews he never apologize to the ones walked away upset from they premises.

To be honest, I can’t believe there are any good reviews. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve tried to make an excuse to say maybe this was an off experience, but it’s been time and time again.The first bad experience was buying the car, and we should have walked away, but knew we wanted the car. The finance person wouldn’t look at me or address me in any way, would only speak to or look at my husband. When signing the papers, I asked a question, the finance person took the paper out of my hand, said “Let me make this less confusing for you”, folded the paper so only the signature section could be seen, and said “you just sign here”. I told him if I was going to buy the car, he was going to answer every single question I had, and after that he did answer my questions, but I still regret not walking away at that point.We purchased the maintenance package from the dealership, so we bring the car in for service, which gives us a $70 credit. We decided to put this towards second row window shades. The window shades are $140 each, so $280 total for two, you can purchase them online through Subaru and the parts department quoted us the $140 for each shade. Upon bringing my car in, we asked how much it would be to install the shades, they said they would have to get back to me with that, but would call me with that information. They called back and said parts were $360 and labor was $608, but with our $70 credit, and them “graciously” giving us 10% off, we were looking at about $830 total. Once again, I should have walked away, but I explained $360 for parts was ridiculous since the parts cost $280 (for two). The person was able to “twist some arms” and get the price down to $450.I’ve since called several other Subaru dealerships and been quoted $70 for labor, which also matches what I had read online for cost (parts and labor around $350).I can’t tell whether I’m more disgusted that they tried to get $830 for something that costs $350, or that they charged me $450 and then tried to get me to say thank you for not completely ripping me off, and still charging me $100 more than they should have (never mind that I should have had $70 off the $350).
The service department was quick on getting the service done. The estimated time of completion was beat by 20 minutes.
Messed up my car - bad windshield repair:Bought a 2010 Subaru Outback from Fitzgerald in the summer of 2010. Good price and the car has been great. But we had to get the windshield replaced by Fitzgerald soon after we bought it due to a scratch. Fast forward 11 years to summer 2021. The car has only 80K miles on it, but apparently that windshield replacement was done wrong, such that the area around the windshield is rusting out and well need to replace the roof at some point. The cost of that repair likely exceeds the value of the car. Dont get your car serviced by this dealer.

Although we love the car, our experience in leasing a Subaru has been a nightmare. Subarus leases all go thru Chase Bank, and as long as Subaru continues to work with Chase, neither the dealership nor Chase Bank will see another lease deal from us. Our original lease had to be re-written because Fitzgerald miscalculated the taxes and our monthly payment went up. No problem...mistakes can be made. We cooperated in the process, which required signing a new lease, making an additional payment at the dealership and paying a catch up amount to reflect the increase in the monthly payment. But the real problem was with Chase Bank. On Chases end, this re-write resulted in them creating two accounts and the right hand literally has no idea what the left hand is doing. Our original payment ended up in one account and all additional payments went to a second account. The second account has us in arrears because the payment from the first account was never transferred over... even more than three months later. Youd think that would be a no-brainer ... but it isnt. Multiple calls have been made to Chase and to the dealership and this still hasnt been resolved -- the original lease was taken out in mid-March (it is now the end of June). Where exactly does the buck stop? Although Chase is clearly the culprit, it would have been nice if someone at Fitzgerald had pursued getting this straightened out... to the end. Promises have been made, but chaos still lingers. And we dont let Chase Bank off the hook. Hours of multiple calls to them got us nowhere. Its our credit rating theyre messing with. Dealerships aside, if Subaru continues to use Chase Bank, we will never do business with Subaru again.

Recently purchased a vehicle from Fitz Subaru Rockville. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from a Fitz dealer. Great experience. My salesman, John Lynch, was friendly and personable. I dont remember the sales managers name, however, he was a good guy as well and helped in securing a loan as I have terrible credit. It was no hassle too and this may be the easiest car buying experience I have had. The finance guru, Georges Guerrier, was down to earth and just a good hearted guy. He worked his magic also for my loan and added some humor to the day. All and all, great place, great customer service, and helpful. I would recommend this dealer to anyone.

Subaru service at Fitzgeralds in Rockville MD is generally quick, efficient and, while not cheap, its thorough, even for little things. I have been back twice with my new Crosstrek, our third Subaru. Once was to diagnose and correct the sync between its Starlink (wasnt connecting) and my smartphone, which acts as the license that connects the car to Starlink services (not be best design decision, but there it is). Service advisor Jeff Hudson spent several hours with Fitzgeralds techs to figure that one out, at no charge. Warranty service. The second time was to replace a cracked outside rear view mirror, for which there was a charge. Warranty is not insurance, and they were replacing a part I broke. Im quite satisfied with the alacrity and results of their service.

No haggle means paying high prices. Using the Truecar buying services shows they dont have competive pricing. Their standard is to give you $99 off after a superficial plead with the sales manager and hiding the excessive dealer processing fee into the MSRP car price . The accessories pricing are twice as much as the MSRP - that is why they dont disclose the MSRP for accessories. A trailer hitch with a MSRP for a Forrestor is $354 on the Suburu website, but being charged by Fritzerald for $998 without price haggle. That is why they only want you to price the car first and will gouge you on the accessories and other services. Using the old owner and no haggle pricing for ads are very effective. They dont participate on Costco car buying services to avoid price transparency. I will avoid this dealer.
This was the best car buying experience that I have had. I had just had a negative experience at bmw up the street and have to say arriving at Fitzgerald was a breath of fresh air. Sophie was very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to go above and beyond. She respected my time and didnt make me feel bad about wanting to leave and think about my decision overnight. Sophie also came in on her day off to complete the buying process with me! I am very happy with the entire experience, and would recommend this place to anyone. As a first time car buyer, I had many questions and concerns about the car(s) I was interested in and the buying process, but everybody at Fitzgerald was extremely helpful/knowledgeable and able to assist me. They cared about everything from safety features to fair prices to color options. As soon as you walk in the door, its clear they want to see you drive away happy (with or without a new car). The buying process was very seamless and simple. Being able to buy a car, learn everything I needed to know about it, and drive off the lot was an amazingly easy experience. I would recommend Fitzgerald to anybody looking to buy a car without the hassel or haggle of a traditional dealership.
Terrible. Gone twice in span of a year and a half. First time I was overcharged then had a NEW problem start up immediately after I picked up the car that was not present before.Went again against my better judgement and I was overcharged for a simple diagnostic. They took 5.5 hours to do the diagnostic then couldnt find my car for another 30 minutes.Overpriced, apathetic staff, shady AF. Would not recommend.

Incredible experience. We had some strange sounds coming from a recently purchased Hyundai, Vince was able to quickly diagnose the issues and patiently answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable, and even had me feel the defects in the tire that were causing the problem. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, they dont serve snacks while you wait, but you can ask for bottles of water.
