Home Depot is my usual stop when I need tools or materials for my repairs. Usually they have exactly what I need and the prices are OK. This HD is pretty standard from what I can tell. They dont always have a big selection, but its hard to tell if thats on them or the shortages across the country. The people are pretty friendly though and always help when I ask.
Just a quick in & out for a long searched for now much needed work related item.As always, customer attentive/focused staff AND professionally clean store.Cashier was fairly busy already so we used the almost always effortless self checkout.Thank you, Home Depot.
Although we did not find what we were looking for, the staff was very helpful. We went in looking for a refrigerator. The associate showed us many models. Unfortunately it was months before they could deliver. Ultimately we went somewhere else, but the staff was awesome.
I ordered carpet through Home Depot, since they measure and install if you spend so much money. I trusted Home Depot as my flooring expert and their website claims no surprises. Well it is a sure surprise when the installers come and run out of carpet for the job! I now have an unfinished job and the store is wanting to charge me to fix the issue. The whole point of paying Home Depot to measure was so that this problem would not happen. The Rockford flooring specialist claimed that I should have told them where to measure, as if I am a flooring expert. I expected carpet to go where carpet was prior. The Customer Service department was not at all apologetic and they are refusing to fix the issue.
Ordered a refrigerator, stove and air fryer tray for the stove. The kid ordering everything for us did it online and really rushed through it. He ordered stuff we didn’t need for the refrigerator and we didn’t receive the sale price for the stove. No big deal customer service took care of that. Now we were charged at the store for the air fryer tray and when it shipped we had a whole separate charge from Home Depot.com. We had to return the air fryer tray because he ordered the wrong one for us. So we get our statement and we were charged twice for the air fryer tray and I have been going back and forth with them for some time now. Lesson learned not to bother with them anymore. Word of advice check all your receipts especially online orders because they are double charging without people even realizing it.
Store has everything you could need for home to light industrial needs. Isles can get confusing when searching for specific general items
Went for lumber...associates there were very helpful. Then went to major appliance dept. The guy there sat in front of his comp screen (no customer present) and just said we should let him know if we need anything. I had several questions. He took no interest in us as prospective buyers (which we are). Not giving HD any of my money. 😠
Bought lawn mower from there didn’t even last 2 months won’t give me my money back won’t repair it for free .place is a joke will never spend a dollar here again . I would recommend going anywhere but here
Trent and Hannah were absolutely wonderful in assisting my husband and I with purchasing a refrigerator. This was extremely stressful for us and they made the experience so much better. They answered all our questions, got us set up with financing, made sure were making the right decision for us and went above and beyond what is in their job description to make sure we were taken care of. To top it off it was closing time and they did not rush us out the door they made sure we were taken care of since we had a broken fridge at home and traveled a long way after work with our 1 year old. There was an additional lady who helped us unfortunately I did not know her name, but all the help was so appreciated. This group of employees should be used as an example of the level of customer service everyone should have. We most certainly will be back.

I called for a question that unfortunately the store couldn’t help with but she turned a frustrating time into a positive experience by taking the time to talk to me about what other options are available to solve the issue I’m having. We will definitely start shopping at Home Depot more because of her hospitality and helpfulness!
Im just have a curious question and would like a member of management to respond.Are cell phones allowed at your cashiers register and if so are they really allowed to be ignoring the customer while they are watching football streaming on their cell phone?It sure was a big distraction and allowed me plenty of time to get my phone out and take this picture.

Some of the people dont know where the items are even though they work there we were looking for one thing and they sent this to the wrong direction when I found it on my own in a whole other direction. Not everybody works there is no logical in with a man

Always a good experience coming here. The paint staff was super helpful and older gentleman and a younger lady both terrific. Their competition across the street has their work cut out for them.

I went to home depot last night fri july 9th 2021 around 9:07 last night . Terrible i walked past customer service, no one greated me or said hello, waliking through the store I walked past ten employees no one asked if i needed help or even smiled at me. As well as the fact i walked into the garden center there was a group of 4 employes just standing around talking around an H cart one looked like a manager . No one helped me

Well we were buying a grill, and they had grabbed a 200 dollar one, and not the 149 one so we had them remove it and they sent a young worker out to see if w e would purchase it for the 149.00. Because I am boycotting Lowes and Home Depot is directly across the street I have started going there and Im so glad. They always have what Im looking for and multiple choices and the service has always been fantastic.
I prefer Home Depot to Menards because the quality of the items is much better and Home Depot supports many local projects.The only concern is the some what limitation and depth of items. Home Depot employees are much more helpful, but are somewhat limited in their knowledge,but this is also the case with Menards. I would ask anyone who usually shops Menards what has Menards done for your community ??. Rethink your usual buying and visit your local Home Depot. Home Depot will also match any price or rebate (11 percent) that Menards offers. Home Depot is MUCH better for your community than Menards.
Was not a good experience get home with a new DW WEED WACKER 20V . IN THE BOX NO MANUFACTURER PAMPHLET..YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE BOX HAD BEEN RETAPED . EMPLOYEES SHOULD OF CHECKED FOR PARTS AND PAPERS .
We walked around looking for a specific item. We discussed looking for this item and not being able to find it, with workers close enough to hear. Finally,a worker named Kevin, working in the garden section helped us and when we still couldnt find it, he suggested alternative products. Kevin in Garden IS THE ONLY REASON I will shop that store again!

Ordered the wrong ice maker replacement for my refrigerator by mistake. Called customer service immediately to cancel and they said the couldnt do it and that Id have to refuse delivery in order to get reimbursed. I didnt trust that answer so I called again later that day and was told I could just bring it back to the store when I got it. I get it delivered and bring it back within 5 hours of getting it only to find out that they consider it a major appliance and they are unable to accept it for return. Screw you home depot. You owe me 107.00 as far as Im concerned. I wont be going back there for a long while. Menards and Lowes are in the same area so...

Visiting the garden center today to replace some plants killed in the latest hot spell. Was impressed that they had more than just tomatoes and Basil. Picked up crookneck squash. Zucchini. And a few other replacements. Nice!

One of their delivery drivers took the side mirror off my car after parking way too close to me on the street. The driver denies doing it, even though I have it on video. After calling Home Depot, I was told to Google their claims department myself. Their claims department is infamous for never returning calls. After 3 weeks of calling, I have heard nothing back. So now I am just stuck with this repair bill because Home Depot refuses to do anything about it and I dont want to get a ticket for not having a side mirror.

Homedepo was great got lots of help with what I was looking for and extra help finding the icemelt that was safe for my puppy. I was sad that they didnt have any ice choppers. But I should have gotten one in the fall before I needed it. Oh and our best experience was the checkout. Annette (sp) was great.

Ordered a snowblower for home delivery 10 days ago and still hasnt arrived!! Was told it was to be here yesterday and it never came. Called today and its still at the hub!!!!! I understand that the delivery aspect may be out of their hands but, they should hold their carriers responsible for delivering customers product on time!
Home Depot Rockford has removed the mask order from their entrance and is allowing shoppers without masks to enter. When I questioned the policy, the clerk said that the regs change everyday and as long as you stay six feet apart, shouldnt be a problem. But in the aisles, that isnt always possible and masks are still recommended inside every business as far as I know. Well be taking our business across the street to Lowes or anywhere masks are required.

Very busy! Although checking out went very quick. Finding everything was a little confusing but all you had to do was ask and they told you right where to find it. Now before covid-19 and during normal day time hours they would take you there. But the hours are shortened so there are many more people in the store at the same time. Some are wearing masks and some arent. All the workers are wearing mask though. I had to return something and it went fairly quickly too. It was a little difficult finding a place to park I will say that. They need more handicap spots on both ends at the entrance there are some but at the exit there isnt see if when you go in youre okay but when you come out you have to walk quite a bit. Otherwise the staff is very friendly. Their paint department is awesome. The staff is very knowledgeable. Ive worked with them many times. They really do know what theyre talking about. They have professional painters that work behind the counter.
All kidding aside, Home Depot has the cleanest bathrooms Ive ever been in, at a store! Thank you for cleaning them so well!

Received email that online order is ready to pickup after it was placed few weeks ago. Few days later after I received email I went to pickup the shower I ordered and first they said they already released it, then they said they may have found it. They brought out a fridge. Then they brought out the tub portion. After over an hour and half of waiting they still couldn’t find the shower surround. They had no eta on when they could see it. So now I have nothing and am back waiting. Very unorganized and will not be ordering online again with Home Depot.
Super dark lighting like Im going for a nap. Also 2 employees told me they didnt sell rubber grommets. Found a super chill nice old man and he took us there directly. Super helpful, not sure if each individual just doesnt care if we find what we need or not trained in other departments. Not angry by any means just would like to see a little more constancy amongst there employees.
Store is dirty, dark, and dusty. Food items up front covered in dust . Vendors fill that stuff, have them clean there coolers...yuck !

The overall shopping experience is good except for when you have to pay. I hate the self-checkout registers that they have there. They usually have an employee waiting to help you check out. The employee sees you coming and they start reaching and grabbing merchandise to get you out fast. And if you are deciding on something like a magazine or a soft drink they have near the register the employee throws an attitude because you are not out of there 15 seconds or less. The employee needs to chill or let me ring up my own stuff.

Prefer Home Depot over Lowe’s, more help around to explain and advise. Generally Lowe’s doesn’t seem interested in helping individual homeowners, get the feeling Lowe’s is mostly for contractors. Home Depot is user friendly, cleaner and better organized.

A good go-to store for most of anyones hardware needs. Along with being fairly easy to navigate on ones own, the location has associates who are friendly and looking to be of help.During the spring and summer, the lawn and garden selection is very well stocked.
Usually this store is great. Today I had a bad experience. Very poor customer services. The people had blank looks on their faces. I asked three times in one hour to be helped with no avail. Was avoided by two employees. I ended up purchasing the tool because of the online stock count. 5 min after purchase a cashier led me over to the isle and said there where none. Then had another cashier walk me to returns to refund me, all with out verbally communicating what was happening. I then asked if there was a way they could contact me when they had some in stock. Two associates, one at the customer service desk the other behind her had a phone and seemed to be a stock person, looked at each other confused then looked back at me. I then asked if they had any idea when more would be in stock. He then looked on his phone and said a shipment would come on the 20th. Im not mad that there werent any kits in stock at the moment. What really agitates me as how I was treated, and how unprofessional many employees were there that day. I wasnt rude I spoke politely and remained calm. The curdosies were not reciprocated.
