A fine selection of appliances you come upon entering the store. My salesman Jim pointed out different pairs of washer and dryers and the select differences that you may or may not be interested in. Compared models with a great deal of knowledge and experience. Store is old but clean and everybody was friendly and upbeat. Getting someones opinion helped in my purchase. Give them a try and support a local established store.

With the big box stores offering appliances, it seems that many of us are quick to buy from them rather than visit and support our local appliance stores. When our refrigerator died a month ago, we found ourselves in that situation. However, after not getting waited on at one store, the other store did wait on us, but we we couldnt get past the idea of calling an 800 number for service. For that reason, we visited Guler Appliance on 7th Street in Rockford on a Saturday.The prices were comparable, the big difference: in store service department. They handle all service calls on items sold there. So after buying a GE refrigerator, microwave and stove, delivery and installation was set up, and as promised they did what they said they would do. As luck would have it, our washer decided to quit as well. Back to Guler, and within literally 30 minutes, Dale not only remembered our name, but personally took care of it, answered our questions, and set up a delivery and set up time that works for us.Bottom line is this. While you might be able to save a few dollars at the Big Box store, if youre like me, your time is worth something. I can say that with Guler, I have saved a lot of time and hassle worrying about getting a truck, bringing the appliance in, trying to hook it up, and getting the rental truck back to the store before my 75 minutes is up. And knowing that should any of our new appliances need servicing, they are just a local phone call away!

After shopping around at big box stores, we found the best value for our dollars at Guler. First, we got a dishwasher, returned to get an oven. Hopefully soon we can return again for a fridge. Initial start to our experience was nice enough. Trying to buy a washer and dryer during a pandemic is hard. They were able to give us a rough time frame of when we could expect our units to come in. The other guys couldnt. They wouldnt even sell us the appliances. After waiting over a month, out washer dryer came in and we scheduled delivery.I took the morning off work to be home while the guys delivered the units. 8:30-9:30 I was told. By 10:30, I called asking where they were. Something happened and we had to move you from the first slot to the third. ...Ok? Something happened. New window was from 10:30-Noon. By 1:30, still nothing. I called back, Well theyre running behind today, something happened at the first delivery, theyll be there soon. Soon doesnt work, I had a doctors appointment to take my daughter to. I was told, its not our fault, these things happen. Yes, of course they do. You know what is your fault? NOT CALLING ME TO TELL ME. My morning off turned into an entire day off for no reason. Just call me! Tell me what happened! I could have at least called my sitter and gone to work! Whos going to pay me for my time sitting in my hands waiting? Unreal.

Worst place to get a repair.. Been blown off twice and given excuses last minute after I took time away from work (so i lost 2 days of work which righy now everything is needed). I paid my warranty fee for the repair which they did but it was the wrong part... Then i call and they say they dont work on my appliance anymore! Im in my 60s and i feel they just took advantage of me... They just tell me they would call me back and never do... PLEASE LOOK ELSE WHERE BEFORE SPEDING MONEY HERE now im out my money and still need a repair.. Just criminal... Wounder if this will have them call? Hello!

If you want to work with people who know what theyre doing, want to see the latest models/trends in person, and get the best pricing, this is your go to place.Our refrigerator broke one day out of the blue and I went to Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy and Al Grace searching for a replacement. I wasnt sold on any of the major brands; Samsung took up way too much space with the icemakers (and they didnt seem to work well anyway), LG had a quick door in all of theirs that then made them close off the interior of the door so you couldnt access what was in there with the door fully open, others had what appeared to be really cheap parts installed... it was a mess. I started looking online for alternatives and visiting stores in the suburbs attempting to see in real life options I was seeing online. None of the suburb places had what I wanted to see either. Then I happened to notice this tiny store in downtown Rockford called Guler that appeared to HAVE models, in the store, that I had been searching for all over the place. I immediately drove down and was greeted by a sales person who knew a TON about all the companies, models, etc. He gave me pros and cons for different options, gave me pricing on various models I was looking at, etc. I drove home, looked in our kitchen again to ensure what I thought would work would work and called them back to order. They took all my information over the phone, placed the order, and we had a refrigerator about 4 days later. The installation guys also knew what they were doing and were great. I cant believe we have such a gem in Rockford. Anyone looking to buy a new kitchen appliance should be starting at Guler!!

I’m sure every family member that works there is great, but I ask for Andy Guller. I own rental properties and I’m telling you this guy will move mountains to help you and when you need him he truly cares and will answers the call even well after the sale to stand by his installation and product. Bought a high end range and hood for a kitchen remodel. Andy was nothing short of fantastic. Consistent friendly and knowledgeable customer service from the first time we walked in through the delivery and install. Gulers worked directly with our contractor to ensure proper dimensions were provided for the install and to coordinate all delivery. I can’t recommend Gulers enough!

Without going into a lot of details, i do not feel this company acted in a professional manner when it came time to deliver my appliances. the behavior of their installer was so horrific and unprofessional, that i actually cancelled my order with them the day of delivery and asked for a refund, which i received. i do not recommend guler appliance and highly suggest you find another appliance dealer in Rockford to work with.

Weve been going to Gulers for over 30 years, and they have always taken great care of us, and we are outside of Rockford. Their prices are very competitive, great sales staff, and the best service and repair services around. After having such great experiences there, I would never go to a big box store to buy an appliance, even though those places are closer to me.

I had never purchased an appliance until I needed to replace a refrigerator a month ago. Because of poor service on the one that was purchased before I had any say in it, I decided to go with Gulers because they have their own service department. Our house had cabinets that only allowed a height of 68 inches, so there were not a number of options. Andy Guler guided me through the selection process, and we chose a Fisher & Playkel two-door option with a bottom freezer. Andy ordered it for me, and Gulers employees delivered it, set it up, and gave me some important instructions about use and cleaning. This refrigerator is wonderful! It is quiet, and there are multiple options for shelf configurations, both in the box and in the doors. The brand has impressed me so much that I plan to order a F&P dishwasher as well. I am thankful I made the decision to use Gulers and am impressed with Gulers employees, Andy, the two young men who installed the refrigerator, Dillon and Josh, and the receptionist Dawn. Im so glad I made the decision to go to Gulers...local company for 9 decades, with old-fashion customer service, and contemporary products.

If you want customer service go somewhere else!!! In October 2016 I spent $4,500 on a Viking Range, not a cheap appliance! Shortly after it was delivered I began noticing problems. The fan was making a grinding noise, the temperature seemed to fluctuate tremendously, one batch of baking would overcook and the next batch would barely cook at all. Then the convection oven, the reason I bought it, was completely off. The left side of the pan would be brown and overbaked and the right side barely being baked at all. The whole point of a convection oven is even baking. They sent repairmen out who confirmed all of the problems and said they believed it was beyond their scope, but they could repair the fan (helpful, but not really). They spoke with Viking while they were here and it was suggested maybe I didnt know what I was doing (??? Just sold a restaurant and tea shoppe, did this for a living! Insulting the customer is not awesome...)I sent an email to our salesperson and the owner expressing my concern and hope for a fair resolution since it wasnt sounding promising when the repairmen left. Not only did I NOT hear from either of them, I received a phone call from Mike in the repair shop days later instructing me to call Viking myself and let them deal with it. I said, Wouldnt it be best if you contacted them since you seem to have a better understanding of all thats wrong with it? He said, Nope, you need to call. And that was it. I have been dealing with Viking and not one follow up or acknowledgement from Gulers. As far as I am concerned I purchased this item from them and if it is not a working piece of equipment it is their responsibility to work with me, not pass the buck and ignore....which is what they have done. Hope they have enjoyed my $4,500 because they wont get another penny from me or anyone I can prevent from doing business with them. Common courtesy is free in case they didnt know that....very frustrated! Its January and I still have a Viking stove that mostly doesnt work. Even after Viking was here the items supposedly repaired still do not work and now they are going to put in a new motherboard and I am still sitting with a very expensive piece of junk in my kitchen.

Very unreliable on show up time with out calling. Poor job on drier hook up had to redo the poor job they had made an attempt at. Stay away from them.
