I purchased some goat meat and chicken from this store. To be honest, this is probably one of the best goat meat I had in US. Reminded me of delicious goat meat dishes back home. The tenderness of the meat as well as the flavor was awesome. Also, the store is very clean and the folks are nice, friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend this place!!

Very friendly staff, always good cuts of meats and sugar free foods for those who need them, wide verity of Candies and goods, ask staff as products are written in Turkish if you need to understand ingredients or what is really inside the package, All are welcome there just be respectful as this is an Islamic store.

Goat meat is a delicacy food for every Bengali.. I bought the goat meat from this store. The meat was very fresh and it was really tasty. The store is very neat and clean. Definetly will buy from this store again.

#1 for for meats in the Rochester area by far. The best of sanitation Ive seen from any meat shop and friendliest of staff from the cashiers to the owner its self. Has never disappointed and I believe will never disappoint ever so you if you want to spend your hard earned money on QUALITY this is the place to be, dont let the neighborhood deceive you.

The biggest problems here: I’ve been three times exactly at the time they open, waited 15 minutes no one arrives after they say there open at 12. Second, the kid who serves us is nice, but always forgets to bring us our drinks. I have to get up and get them, which isn’t a problem, but not right.The food is very good. No doubt about this. 3 stars cause of the service. But I’d give them 5 stars for the food.

Love shopping here..brings back my fond memories of my month spent in TURKEY.. they have fresh meat market, home made Baklava all spices condiments cheeses native desserts and candy..if you have never been go exploring well worth the time..

Wonderful market. Friendly staff, always very clean. I love finding cool things there that you just can’t get at other grocery stores. You can’t find better chicken anywhere in Rochester. Yusuf is very knowledgeable about their meat selection. I’d highly recommend stopping in and finding something you’ve never tried before.

Just left there, staff is nice and polite I used to always love shopping here never had problems, but the problem I have this time is that a lot of the food is expired didn’t even trust to get anything out of there will shop somewhere else until matter is resolved!

I watched as they cut my meat fresh Lamb chops and Veal chops its awesome to have freah meat my parents went to joes to get meat when I was a child and to still be able to get fresh meat i mean fresh off the ram and the cow, the chicken its just awesome theres not another meat market that cuts up the meat fresh in front of you I watched my meat being cut fresh off the lamb and the ram and its really good

This is the best place to find international food in Rochester. There are many different types of products here from other countries. It is the largest international food market in this area. In particular, you can find here many Turkish brands produced in Turkey. Turkish coffee, Turkish tea, Turkish delight, sunflower oil, tomato paste, pickles, olives, cheese, soujouk (sausage), etc. The other thing I like, you can find halal meat and chicken at Halal Market. This is so nice to find fresh beef and chicken. I would like to say one more thing, the staff friendly and they are so helpful, they always solve the problems. I really like Halal Market, and I highly recommend this place.

A lot of cool, different things to get here. Bonus, its attached to a great Turkish restaurant next door.The amount of choice of olives, cheeses, fresh meats, even goat and lamb is great. Tons of sweets too if youre into that, and lots of spices you cant get anywhere else.

Its Turkish own. The prices are okay they serve kosher and halal meat. The market is always clean. I like going into a meat market where you dont smell only meat. They sell lots of spices. I love their box of hamburger patties ( cooks well)

Bright, clean Turkish-run butcher shop with a great (although higher priced) selection of meats, cold cuts, Turkish cookies, candies and other items. Selection of halvah, turkish delight, honey, olives, semolina, beans, tea, candy, spices all superior. Always interesting Turkish music playing on the speakers. Love those Turkish pistachios!

This is a combination grocery store lunch place. With that said, it has a great lunch menu, and friendly service. For starters the adana kebabs are great and they offer 2 versions: 1) traditional and 2) submarine style. Both are delicious. They have a wide range of dishes from chicken and rice to turkish pizza (pide pizza). Unfortunately, they didnt have iskender kebabs when I was in Rochester. Definitely great to go lunch spot.
