Only true Electronics store left in Roanoke since Radioshack left.

This place is fantastic! First, their battery prices are significantly lower than Walmarts and Sams, and their prices vs. Amazons lowest are so close that either may be the cheapest by a few cents. Second, they will install WITHOUT CHARGE the batteries you buy from them in most common devices, such as watches, your cars keys/keyless entry devices, cell phones, uninterruptible power supply computer backup units, calculators, digital scales, fitness bands, tablets and readers, and all kinds of portable electronics and other devices: they know how to do it. Third, IT people take note: they have all kinds of cables, connectors, and adapters in stock. Finally, they just have a lot of neat stuff like smart devices that interface with Alexa/Amazon Echo Dot, Google, etc., chargers of all types (cell phone, and so forth), lights, safety lights, flashlights, and other stuff. And their hospitality is nice, too... You can have a free soft drink or water while you shop. Highly recommended! They are hard to spot from the road. They are across from McDonalds and immediately next door to the BP gas station on Franklin Road.

Best place for batteries in Roanoke!! 24 pack of Energizer AA for less than $10. AMAZING!! And they run a loyalty deal to get free batteries. Great place for small electronics, flash lights, CAT6 cable and accessories. If you need quality batteries at a great price, look no further.

Great place to get electrical components. They also have bulk of AA AAA C D etc batteries. Diodes, resistors, relays, heat shrink... Etc. If they do not have the part you need the majority of the time they can order it for you. Its kinda like an old fashioned Radio shack... Where you can actually buy components, not cell phone cases and radio controlled toys. Now just remember they do not sell that many connectors but they usually have individual parts to build a circuit or two. The staff there can work with you to find a part you need. They are a pleasure to shop with. Sometimes they will also give out free drinks with purchase. Stop in get a look around... If you need a power wheels battery they should have it. Need a diode to fix a old Ham or Cb radio they should have it.... Good luck!

Great company serving the electronic needs of the area for 80 years! I thought I had lost them after so many years, but they still are there on Franklin Road Just south of Flint’s Service Center. Almost everything you need for electronic building and projects, ham radio, antenna connectors and so, so, much more. My visits to H C Baker in the 1950’s were responsible for me becoming a Ham Radio operator! A great resource, Check them out. If you need electronic components and equipment this is the place!.

The best place in town for all kinds of batteries, from AAAs to medical devices and golf carts and everything in between. Friendly people, good service, and if they dont have it, they can get it! A rare business that serves both businesses and individuals well. My first stop for all things battery and electronic!

Im so glad this place is here! If youre looking for small parts for do it yourself builds or repairs for electronics this is the place to go. They also provide a punch card that gets a punch for every $10 spent, and once the card is filled you get your choice of batteries! These guys do it right and are extremely knowledgeable.

Great store for soldering, microsoldering, pretty much anything electrical. I had an injury on my foot and it was difficult to walk. The person in the store brought my purchase out to my car so that I wouldnt have to walk on my injured foot. I dont know too many stores that would that. 5 stars for Bakers.

This place is not easy to find thru Google, and that is a shame. Excellent products, high end tools but prices were low, very patient and treated me respectfully even though Im am idiot. So not spend money anywhere else before checking here. From coax, satellite to cable or antenna, building repairing electronics, I highly recommend coming here first.
