My wife purchased a brand-new Apple 12 mini approximately 2 months ago here at the Colonial Ave. Wireless zone store. Since purchasing she has been having various connection issues where my Samsung 7 (purchased at the same location several years ago) isn’t having any. Today she had issues with no service and went over to the store. They reinserted the sim card and got it working in the store. About an hour and a half later I had texted her and got no response. When we finally met up, I said did you get my text and she said no. We were in the middle of town in the open and no service for her phone. My Samsung had a great connection. So, we headed back over to the store. We expressed our concern related to the connectivity issues, Brittany said she would reset it OK but WHY? You shouldn’t have to constantly reset a phone in order for it to work. The phone has been reset multiple times. We asked for a SIM replacement since the phone is under warranty. Brittany said the SIM isn’t under warranty and said it would take manager approval and no managers were available this week and the answer would probably be no replacement. We asked if they had any sim’s available and Brittany opened a drawer of what looked like used parts and said I don’t have any and abruptly shut the drawer. She said a replacement would be at our cost of 15 or 20 dollars. We would have to pay for a replacement, say what? What if the replacement is faulty? Buy another one? Possibly its the phone with the issue? The unnamed male employee said the sims are mass produced and not covered. Just about everything in the world is mass produced. One of the most critical components in the phone isnt covered under warranty? Your kidding, right? No they werent kidding. We stated our disappointment and I said that’s a good way to not get repeat business. The unnamed employee with long dark hair and a goatee said directly to me how rude. How rude? They were the ones being rude. I left the store then came back and asked for his name, he said why, I asked again and he said angerly I don’t have to give you my name. Extremely poor service from both employees all over 20 dollars. Unbelievable! When you come in to buy something they are real nice. If theres a problem beyond resetting the device you are on your own. We were the only customers in the store, I wonder how many other customers they treat this way when no-one else is in the store? You have lost two good customers. I’m planning on upgrading my Samsung 7 but it won’t be at any Wireless Zone store.

The CS gentleman was very nice and quick to help to the best of his ability. Only wish my account was what the original salesman set up.

My phone died just a few days after moving to the area and I have to say, hands down, I received the best service from any Verizon store Ive ever been to. Brad and David gave such excellent customer service that I had to write this review! They made you feel right at home and were as helpful as could be. Hopefully I dont have anymore cell issues while Im here but if I do, Im definitely coming back.

Brad at the Wireless Zone located in Towers assisted me in the upgrade of our phones. Brad explained the options for device replacements including protective cases, screen protectors and insurance. Brad explained the plan options and asked specific questions to be sure the appropriate plan was chosen. Brad successfully upgraded our devices and the store had exactly what we needed when we needed it. Brad ensured that our apps and content were on our new phones and that our watches were properly synched with our new phones. We came into the store with old, unreliable devices and left with new, protected devices that had all of our old content. The service was superb!
Pretty much the best experience Ive ever had upgrading a cell phone. David Edwards was the most helpful and thorough person Ive ever encountered at Verizon in all of my years of being a customer. He took me painlessly through the process and was a wonderful conversationalist during the whole thing. Next time I have anything I need done, Im calling David! I live in DC, but travel to Roanoke for work and Ill certainly be scheduling my travel there around any of my wireless needs from now on. Highly recommended!!!

Went there on my birthday to see if they would take a look at my phone as I was having issues. Ended up getting a Pixel 3! Its New and I like it! Its a very good phone at a good price! It was on sale. The service was good but I will have to get used to the new phone and will probably return for technical support! Well see how it goes. It will take time. I will give a follow up with and mey take pictures next time as the phone is supposed to take excellent pictures but it wasnt charged enough and I had not used the camera on it yet. I definitely want to just havent got to it yet? Anyway thank you Verizon! I will see you soon!!! ✌️❤️🙂👏
This Verizon location has hands down the most friendly, tech savvy, and delightful staff of any in SW Virginia. I am always personally greeted with a smile and the team there just goes above and beyond to resolve any issue that I have. Regardless of the scope of the matter. They offer personal one on one wireless device support as well as business telecom solutions at all levels. I personally have not ever had the same experience with any wireless carrier employees.
Honestly the best experience Ive ever had getting a new phone. David and Andrew were incredible and very knowledgeable. If you want 5 star quality customer service this is the place to go.
I just want to say David at Towers Verizon ROCKS! I got a new android and needed to transfer my old phone to my autistic son. David took extra time with me and my son to make sure we knew how to use our new phones. David went the extra mile to personalize my sons phone just for him to make him proud to have his first ever smart phone. We received excellent and courteous service. Highly recommend. Had an awesome experience at this store. Walked in wanting to add an Apple Watch to my plan and David who helped me was pure awesome. We talked about the different versions off the watches and which would be best for me and with his help and knowledge I found the perfect fit. They even went to Daleville to pick up the one I wanted right than and there. I highly recommend this store!

The best service I have ever received in a Verizon store
Verizon offers a wide range of quality products. The wireless zone we visited (towers shopping center in Roanoke) has a friendly, welcoming staff. David took the time to get my boyfriend and I both phones that meet our individual preferences. He is patient and knowledgeable. Being a split house, we had questions on both andriod and apple devices. We are both happy with our new phones.

I live in Fincastle and I pass several Verizon stores on my way there ..even though it is out of my way I will will always go there because of Taras excellent customer service. I was in Roanoke, Virginia for Thanksgiving and wanted to take advantage of the great deals Verizon was offering for the holiday. Matt Conner was the guy at the Verizon store at Towers Shopping Center who helped me out. He was great and answered all my questions.We ended up having an issue with getting the proper value of my trade-in sent to Verizon. Apparently, it was a common problem for the weekend but Matt went FAR above and beyond in order to help me get the proper value applied to my account. When he wasnt able to conclude that transaction on the day I visited, he called me the next morning to let me know his progress and that he was still working the problem.Last I heard, he had gotten to some resolution and it looks like it will get handled. However, he also instructed me to contact him in a couple of days if I hadnt heard from Verizon with a final verification of the issue being resolved.He was great, patient, friendly and when he didnt know the answer to one of my many questions, he would do whatever it took to get that answer to me.He was stellar in his customer service and I would definitely recommend him and the Towers store in Roanoke, VA if you need a new cell phone or new plan. This is the only cellphone store I will step foot in. Fantastic service, exceptionally knowledgeable employees, not super pushy salesmen like so many cell phone stores are. They help you and dont try to sell you then kick you out. A month later you go back, speak to the same person, and get the help you need. Highly recommend.
Never visit the Towers location if you actually WANT to be helped..... I waited patiently for 30 minutes while 3 workers helped 3 people.... I was the next person in line. While I waited, one worker decided to talk about his kids with the person he was finished with while another finished with his person and decided to begin with the person who came in AFTER me. I guess I was just not worth their damn business today.
I was travelling to north Carolina and my phone was giving me issues. At 700 miles from home and on the go, she promptly hooked me up. She has a very pleasant personality and was very knowledgeable and got me back up and going in no time. All in all a great experience. Did I mention cute...? Lol Thanks Tara!!!
Ive only had good experiences in this store with customer service but after today felt compelled to make a review. Went in on a whim to see about upgrading my phone and David Koliba took superb care of me! He answered all my questions before I even asked them, transferred everything to my new phone, got rid of my old broken phone for money, activated the new phone and more in what felt like no time! A great experience, its obvious all the staff are knowledgeable and genuinely care about customer service. Best Verizon store in Roanoke for sure!

After a terrible experience with my former provider I was recommended to switch to Verizon by a coworker whos been a customer for years. So happy I did! Walked in and was helped immediately. My sales associate David was patient, knowledgeable and helpful through turning over my service and setting me up with a new device. Never once felt pressured to buy anything I didnt need or want. New store site, new staff, new problems. I came away from my new contract very unhappy. The salesman seemed nice and approachable at first, but then I got the hard sell on a phone I wasnt excited about because they didnt stock the one I really wanted. Then he offered only to transfer my photos saying he couldnt transfer any contacts or apps to the new phone despite doing so for my wifes new device. I tried to return the phone (its the most disappointing phone Ive ever purchased), but apparently missed my window to do so by one day. And were still waiting on our purchase receipt, which was never emailed to us. The whole process with them was a letdown. I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone. If youre on Verizon, find an authorized retailer location thats better suited to serving customers.

This is the Verizon store to go to if you need a phone. I made the mistake of going to the store on Electric Road and had to spend 2 hours after my visit on the phone with Verizon to fix what they had done. The employees in this store are friendly and very helpful.

I went in to ask about a wireless modem, and after convincing the sales lady that I really didnt want a tablet, or 5 new lines, or to transfer from my unlimited data plan with sprint thats half the price over to verizon, and that I didnt need to connect up to 20 laptops to my modem, just one. Then she finally relented and showed me what I came in to look at. Its very obvious they work off a commission, as when I was leaving I was given her card and said to be sure and call and ask for her to set up an appt. Felt very much like I was shopping for a used car. All I want is some tasty 4G LTE for my home laptop, is that to much to understand?

Am extremely unhappy with the Verizon representatives at the Tower location. After 2 hours trying to resolve an issue with poor reception on my samsung phone, I left totally frustrated and the problem was still unresolved. Went to the Verizon store at Valley View, the next day, and the problem was resolved in minutes after she corrected the settings which had been programmed on my phone by the Rep at the Tower location!
