I was needing two front tires. The young man at the counter was professional and great to deal with. He told me 1.5 to 2 hour wait. I shopped and had lunch in the subway. When I returned my car was finished. They had my work cell but made no call. When I went to pay for it the lady told me the mechanic said my rt front tire was missing its air sensor. That was bull It was working that morning that’s how I knew the tire had a puncture and was low on air. I notice they needed replacing anyway. So after calling the manager and some more conversations with the mechanic it’s was decided they owed me a new sensor. Which he broke. Which they were out of. If that wasn’t enough when I got in the car. I checked my dash pocket and my personal cell phone was missing. So I shouted in the garage and ask them who had my phone. The two mechanics looking at each other started laughing and then confronted me and told me he didn’t have to listen to me or my mouth. One even approached me and told me to go find it in my car. So he knew he moved it. After searching the car I found it in the center console under some papers. NOT WHERE I PUT IT WHEN I PARKED THE CAR. The manager showed up, someone called him, not me, he demands that I never come to the store again because he wasn’t going to have a customer talking to his mechanics the way I did. Accusing them of stealing or messing with a car. These two mechanics were setting me up to accuse them of stealing so they could have the manager jerk me around. I will get the new sensor but want go to Wal Mart for tires again.Also two day later I opened my trunk and found my spare tire just thrown in there.

This place is a mess. It was my first (and last) time at this location. There was a very bad spill in the automotive department. I informed an employee and she tried to get help but no one came while I was there; at least she tried. Another employee, younger looking and thin female, was just wondering around the store. I saw her a couple of times. She seemed to be hiding from someone, who knows. Many aisles and shelves were clustered messes. Some were impassable. See Photos

This is a great store u can always find what u need an a decent prices espically on holiday like Christmas where u can do ur shopping put it on always an pay fir it by Christmas an get whT u planed an not forget things as I used to before I tried it this way ... I recently started college so I need a laptop so when me an my hubby an kids go on vacation or somewhere I can still do my homework an my daughter being homeshcolled an my son in college we needed one I got this one an my daughter the smart TV both work great except on issue w my laptop

We was able to have good selections of what we went for. E what is really nice and helpful if you need help and I were to take you I recommend this Walmart Supercenter. Sometimes youre a little low on groceries but people are stocking up and Spacey on vegetables is mostly what youre getting Sebastopol so things with protein tuna spam that sort of thing I have had a hard time getting spam in there but I still think its not their fault but I recommend this Walmart

It was a great experience the gentleman who helped me was very kind and polite. He was assisting another customer and politely stated he would be right there to assist me. He did just that and found exactly what I was looking for. His customer service was excellent.

I used to work there in 2009. I worked for the company for 4 years and when I left, I never once got a single promotion even though I applied for every single department manager position that ever came up during my time there and I only made $1 more than the minimum wage. Id suggest never working for these people and I also suggest not shopping there either as they have grown rich by mistreating their employees.

The worst .no cashiers to help .the items are not restocked . never enough carts for physically handicapped .The line are very long to wait.The bathrooms are filthy .The clerks wear angry faces afraid to ask for help.The floor supervisor are yelling to people that this is all the help she has at registers .Your own check out .waiting in line for that also .The prices have doubled especially in OTC meds .Ready to remove our prescriptions but the pharmacy staff is wonderful especially Diane and Taylor .The best pharmacist Lauren left .Miss her so much .She knee her stuff and would go out of her way to find a med that the doctor could prescribe that was less expensive .Please 🥺 work on Valley view Superstore .The Salem store us cleaner but similar problems with not sticking items .Clothing on the floor etc

This is a one of the best run, clean, neat, organized Walmart that we have been at in a long time, its good to see the care the Associates here have for the customers and the store. To single out one extremely helpful and polite Associate is James in tires... Sam Walton would be proud!

The store was in order & I was able to find what I needed. My only issue was that if you are paying with cash, you cant go thru self checkout. So, I had less than 10 items, but had to get in line behind other customers who had a full basket of groceries. I think at least one of the self checkouts should be cash only. I felt like I was being punished for using cash.

Gots what you need. Pharmacy is very helpful and knowledgeable. Staff never bothers me and are quick to respond. Also, they dont carry adult roller skates.

This place would be a 5 star if someone actually worked there. All I see is self serve.

Called ahead to see if their returns/customer service was open before I drove 20 mins there they said yes their open, always open til 11pm, well I get there at 9:30pm and as I get to the desk they quickly got the registers out and said it was closed down, even though I had just talked to the lady whom was in charge, thats so dang shady, Ill never come and spend any of my familys money their again, what an absolute disgrace, also their website says customer services are open from Opening-Closing every single day!!!

No charged handicap carts. Went back hours later and same un-charged carts still sitting out in parking lot. Third try, we gave up. NO care obviously for handicap.

Waited in line at customer service for over 10 minutes to rebuy 4 items that were left out of my order the day before. Employees were walking around with nothing to do while only one person was helping customers. Very disorganized and no initiative taken by anyone to help.Returned items like hamburger was laying there and yet no one picked it up and either dispose of it or put back in cooler.Manger was not to be found.Cashier from the day before was about as friendly as a snake. Did not expect to be treated like a best friend but did expect courtesy. They need more training before put on floor

Honestly I don’t even know why they have workers at this point.The workers just walk around doing dang near nothing while the check out centres are empty. Honestly a mess, and don’t even get me started on how they had rotten fruits I even found bugs in the tomato pack. Other than that I guess it’s an alright place.

I have Enjoyed myself at The Valley View Mall Walmart Supercenter And I Found some Great Clearance Sale Items That had They not been on sale I Wouldnt have Bought them And I loaded Up on Gaiter Face masks That Came 2In a Package and the Regular Price Of Them Was $6.97 Per. Package and I Got Like 35 Packages of 2 in each Package for $ 1.00 Each Thats All I had to Pay Was $1.00 Each Of 2 Masks and now I hope that I can find People Willing to buy Some of Them From Me Im Only going to ask for $2.00 Each Package of 2 Masks!!!!!

In the produce section I saw a lady picking through bags of cherries fingerling through each one and filling up her chosen bag. She went through at least half the bags. With the pandemic were in I found it to be greatly disturbing and informed an employee. She rolled her eyes and said nothing to the lady. I informed two more employees and neither of them said anything to the lady. I called and spoke to the manager who said theyd take care of it. It scares me that they did nothing. They didnt even remove the cherries from the shelf. THEIR PRODUCE COULD BE CONTAMINATED. I would think that a company as big as Walmart would be on top of situations such as this. Sadly, the employees I encountered were not. Nor did they wear masks.

Not much into Walmart. Some things are cheaper there, but not much.I go to Food Lion. Nicer people, clean environment, better meats, save more money.😁

This is the 2nd time in a month that Walmart delivers me the wrong groceries. It is always Wal-Mart at Valley View. Whoever loads the drivers cars needs to be more careful. This is NOT the drivers fault. Then Im out 2 tips because I cant blame the driver. I then go on the website to be told I wouldnt be charged for the groceries well DUH I guess I wont be I didnt get my groceries.

I really really wish it was still 24hrs but I understand the current restrictions due to COVID-19.

Savana that was doing an audit on a cashier was yelling rude remarks at customers and saying obscenities toward the cashier. Definitely wont be shopping at this location again.

Got the oil changed here not overly satisfied but was alright. Most memorable thing was the fact I walked around a got stuff and couldnt remember how to get back and the very nice lady at self check was so sweet when I told her I wasnt sure very helpful

I hate coming to this one I just have to sometimes because its close. Im sticking with the others for now on though no wonder this walmart has the reputation it has. Need to put time in this store and fix your employees poor attitudes.

It is what it is. Walmart. I got what I needed, the service is what is to be expected at walmart and the prices were reasonable.

Its a nice Store, but it needs some remodeling and the people that work there are so comfortable in their jobs that they are rude. Except for Jill the cashier who always has a smile on her face and who goes out of her way to help those who check out thru her line.

This Walmart typically has the better selection of items and more inventory, BUT its sketchy. Its always crowded, police are everywhere, and it attracts a somewhat rowdy crowd.

Not really fond of this Walmart (Valley View), never seems to be well stocked-food, never seems really clean and hands down the WORSE bakery staff, ie; NEVER staffed

10,000 times better than Clearbrook. They actually had people willing to help and had enough people working. Others in the Roanoke Valley, as mentioned before, have minimal cashiers or workers in general. The customer service is so much better. I live in Franklin County, but will drive the extra distance not to deal with Clearbrook Walmart.

Very disappointed, the shelves were not stocked had to wait for the cashier to clean her station because the cashier before her left a mess. BUT I am glad that she took the time to protect her customers and herself

It was decent, the people that worked there were pretty helpful, in some instances. Other than that they just walked around taking inventory and everything. The people there for the most part were okay as well.

Its probably the worst walmart in town everything is under lock and key because of the location and they offer no money services after 8 oclock because of the location as well go to salem or clearbrook much better clientele and atmosphere than this one at a dying mall

I went to Walmart today spent over $800 in my customer service is so poor I was so mad its like they didnt care all they were worried about was the money I was very disappointed upset I would never shop at that Walmart again I talked to the general manager all she going to do is she going to talk to somebody she didnt offer no no discount no nothing. I just dont understand Ive been a customer service for years the customer service is not like it was where I was taught

Truly scared for my life at this Walmart. The place feels locked up and you feel like you are being watched constantly due to all the theft that happens there. There are crimes here all the time. The customers are loud and obnoxious and the employees are rude and bothered by you needing something. Save your time and maybe your life and go to Target up the street.

Place looks like it was just ransacked. Stuff thrown everywhere in certain departments. Food left open etc. Could definitely benefit from some organization and tidying up.

One cashier working; everyone else has to go to self checkout. Wow! Their way of saving money; around the time minimum wage is increased. Sure hope the savings goes to employees. Major holiday approaching and the shelves are almost bare.

It’s an alright Walmart if you are just needing a few household items or snacks but this is not the place to go for regular groceries. Their produce is old and getting rotten every single time I buy some. I even had to return a bag of potatoes a few weeks ago because it reeked of rotten fish. Most displays all over the store are also a mess with things thrown on the floor.

My experience was average, most of the items however are locked up and require an employee to obtainI also dont want to be that guy, jumping on controversial topics, but when I was leaving, two black families in front of me were stopped and had their receipts and carts checked, and the guy just waved me and another white gentleman on, without checking ours. This upset me. I feel like that was very much a prejudice, and I did not appreciate watching that happen. I made a comment so the greeter checking could hear that it wasnt right. Check all the receipts, or not at all. Ffs.

They are usually stocked with most things, but there have been times they didnt have a few things I went to get. Their security is kind difficult to go through. I always feel like theres someone hovering over me, instead of watching the dozen other people in the scan it yourself section.

Clean, well spaced and easy to find items especially if you use the app. However the app isnt always accurate in regards to true available quantities. You cant really help over the phone either so you have to be part detective and GO to the store to try and find the product such as limited stock. The garden entrance is still closed. Also, the pharmacy/home entrance side is closed for entry whenever the store decides so OFTEN lately that side is closed for entry. So look before parking or you will walk a bit before entering store .

If you require appointments for COVID vaccines, respect peoples time and adhere to that schedule. I have to schedule time to make it to this store Sitting here 20 mins after my scheduled appointment and no signs of life from the Rx.

I have used Walmart + will this Walmart, opposed to actually shopping in store for groceries. Not good. At this store out of 7 grocery orders I have not once received a complete order with everything I ordered. I changed my order to no substitutions because the items pulled were not similar substitutes. For Walmart + grocery shopping, caution advised!

Visited their pharmacy today. A little slow getting order filled, but still a happy customer.

This ultra-huge cavernous store greets you with a security guard and security gate, giving you the impression they dont trust you before you have set foot into the store. I stepped back through the gate after I realized I forgot something from the car, and set off the security alarm. I wont go back there.

The place has cleaned up a lot. The store is doing well and it seems that they are more focused on being nice to customers than they used to be. The loss prevention at the front doors dont seem like they have a stick up their ya know. They dont make you feel as if they are going to accuse you of things as you walk out

9:30 pm only self check out lanes were open and lined all the way to near the back of the store.

Messy, inventory laying around everywhere. Most employees will turn and run away from customers needing assistance. However theres 1 nice guy working electonics and a really sweet young lady working cosmetics sometimes. I still hate it here most of the time and avoid it like the plague. Customer service is next to non existent, in part due to attitude and in part due to being so understaffed. Would not recommend.
